OverTime had turn into a drinking place for alot of office workers or bosses as I guess with  its great ambiance and unique brew beer of its own had attracted many from young to old.

To drink Starker, the only place to get is only at Overtime as they do not sell at off shelf like many other beers do as the beer are always serve fresh and have to drink at the temperature of 4° to 6° Celsius .

If you find that the mini barrel do not satisfy you, get the biggest barrel.

A bar that offer a few types of seating from outside sofa type as you head further in, its not a bar ambiance with rocky wall. .

and they have 2 area more like can cater for bigger group or private functions with solid sofa provided

This bar is located right inside KL Hilton on the 2nd floor if I am not mistaken.

Usually its pack with people during weekend and even ladies night.

Also on that night, they reveal their new live band on stage that consist performer from a few continents to assemble this band.

No doubt that this is by far one of the good live band that I have come across and I guess they going to be here for another 3 more months before they switch again?

Both of the girls have good voice and the lead singer guy too. They perform alot on the latest track which is quite impressive. Why not you give yourself a chance to drop by and enjoy . .

A huge center area that in the future can host many events here and with seriously high ceilings that enable it to be more cooling.

I guess in this alley, if cafe’s and some fashion boutique open in this area, gonna make it more like foreign shopping feel.

When I walked in, I just got to know that, they have indoor shopping that only have 2 levels which more like other countries are doing.

For night view, I am certainly impress with the feel of it as in the future, in this middle area, all those nice and exclusive yatch are going to dock here, and at the last 6 levels are residential area that have its own style which is quite unique in interior.

At the side walk, it gives me the feeling more like a modern type of Gurney with its huge sidewalk and of course there are a few Bar already operating around this area like Finnegans Bar and not to be miss this German Bar.

Berlin’s Bier Houz is a German & European Bistro is one of the few bar is currently operating in the area.

A very cosy feel with wooden table, floor and dim lights on the ceiling with old style building painting at the wall do stir the ambiance up.

If you are looking for nice German Draft Beer to hunt for, I would say this is one of the bar to consider as they offer quite a range.

With at least 5 on draft to offer for German Beer Range, with the likes of Erdinger Weissbier, Erdinger Weissbier Dark, Erdinger Dunkel and a few more.

This is the pricing of their beer yet it is still cheaper than the one’s offering in KL. They do have happy hour rate and if you are looking for all night long, Sunday is their Happy Hour all day long. Hoegarden is available too but in bottle.

This is our 1 pint of beer and I brought Esther here as she was in Penang for a few days. ..  We are happy with our Happy Hour Deal that comes to around RM26 for 1 pint. For those who love lighter beer and more aromatic and a bit sweet in taste, I would suggest to go after Erdinger more like our Tiger as in light in taste and those who love a bit more bitter and stronger taste, go for Weissbier more like Carlsberg.

Non Happy Hour is around RM30 per pint.

If you dont like to be seated in there and prefer some where outside to enjoy the sea breeze if it is windy day, then consider outside especially with smokers. I spend 3 nights over here and it is always near full house.

I guess this is one of the new place that I will stick on when I am back to Penang and going to be one of my recommended place for a bar to hang out at the moment. Food I have just not yet try. You guys try it out then share with all of us.

A place that certainly offer nice and cozy ambience, with you can be seated comfortably on the couch area . . .with paintings of famous celebrities on the wall makes it look very homey too.

If you tend to drink alone, then you can choose to sit at the Bar area while watching your favourite football match. . .

Start off with our little snacks which is served hot yet the sharp smell does make me want to take my fork to steal a piece instantly. ‘Samosa - Indian chicken curry puff served with mint chutney’ charge at RM6 nett is definately a bargain and to go along with beer.

Another starter good to go with beer with hint of spicy, sour and salty. ‘Spicy Ikan Bilis - A spicy dish of ikan bilis chillies & onions’  RM 6 nett

A thick patty of pork mince meat being finely grill added on with their in house mixing that with a layer melted cheese on top is something you definitely can consider.

Love the ‘Thai Pork Curry’ which is strong in spices taste and if you eat it cube like that would be a bit salty and spicy but eat along with rice, it just combines very well. RM14 nett

Modiva Kitchen, Bar and Club Longue is one of the few latest edition in this one hot spot area at Sunway Giza that start operats at April 2010. A place where usually pack with people for happy hours with their great promotions and after 10pm on certain days it will become a club for people to partayyy with an option without travelling so far down to KL.

If you feel you do not want to be indoor then they have the outdoor area that a mini bar that served draft beer.

Indoor before 10pm it is more like a dining space with all plates and cutleries are in place when it is after 10 the place will change

Be prepared to get pampered by the wide range selection of draft beer.

As me, Vialentino, Uli and Ken were there early, we decided to go on for their Kilkenny draft beer, anything with draft I am into it.

A perfect half pint of Kilkenny with the smooth silky foam at the top of it.

Need to take a break after a long day hard work and enjoying myself in this great ambiance.

DJ of the night will blast you off with RnB, Trance, House and on certain days have different music. Their RnB mixing is good…

If you feel you need in style with some privacy space with your own friends, then get this VIP area with solid red sofa that suits you well by overlook at the dance floor.

The food presentation itself already much attracted us to take our knife and fork to poke through it and go into our mouth. Seared Scallops had been well grill on both side that does not make it too cook yet its soft in the middle and its fresh accompany by mango chilli salsa, alfalfa and basil that mix the taste of sweet sour very well. Great start.

Sauted Prawn’s on grilled zucchini, aioli and aragula

Grill along with a bit of spice that the prawn absorb the taste and with one big bite taste that served with simple decorations.

Char Grilled Lamb that grill till did not over cook it, soft on the meat which doesnt make it too hard to bite, shower along with mint sauce is perfect.

When this was served it shock us a little with such a big portion, Country Style Roast Chicken grilled sweet potatoes, corn on cob and mushroom gravy.

Then this fellow Vialentino was so hungry till keep asking I want that piece i want that piece, and picture picture.. lol..seriously have to thank this crazy guy for arranging all this.

Next in the list Fillet of Salmon with zucchini ribbon, boiled baby potatos and spicy tomato sauce.

While I was taking the picture pointing it near to my camera I can still feel the heat of the plate and salmon and the slices of it parting slightly had tempted all of us by the look of it, it proves us right that the salmon is fresh and with fork poking in through it just break naturally and eat along with the sauce on the plate is awesome.

If you prefer something light or mind in taste then I would recommend Spaghetti Aglio-olio with Seafood with olive oil, chilli, parsley and basil.

I used to be do not like Pasta in this kind of dressing but after much I learn how to enjoy it, this would be one of the latest edition to my list.

Seriously what he did is just not a trick that he perform directly infront of our eyes.

From normal fork then he shake it lightly and till the form of it change till its all bent!

Then Choi Yen did not believe what he is doing and decided to give it a touch of it but she felt the bent of it.

To further bent it, he use the power of eyes that Superman had the red light lazer beem from his eyes but Zlwin had the invisible version.

Then she decided to try again to proof it!

At the end of the result, bent plus super bent. Then we took the fork and try to twist it ourself and trust me, they are just the hard steel fork as we usually use and Vialentino using all his energy to bent back the shape of it but then that’s just too hard. Something Amazing huh~

Next comes to this celebration that must not miss a full temptation cake which is Durian Cake topped with Macaron was specially made by BigBoysOven.

To celebrate his age, we try to poke as many candle as possible instead of one.

One funny thing is that we use the trick candle where you blow the candle already it will never flame out and one little spark lit it back again. Well, Ken did not know that as he blow the cake till his face is so funny.

Happy Birthday to Ken on that day.

It was a great night for all of us to hang out with booze, good food and great companion which cannot deny that Modiva was one of the good choice, furthermore I have been returning to this place for a few times already.

If you are looking for a place to dine and drink, this is one of the places I would recommend.

Sid pub is located at Bangsar South one of the new development area, and I would just say, regulars who patron this place would go back constantly after that. Frank which one of the owner, greet every one of his customer including us and he believe that there are no boss – customer relationship just that every one in the shop are friends that never talk.

In the signage already mention that they are a pub in a friendly neighbourhood, therefore you can expect full house most of the time.

The interior is very classicly decorated with old pictures and news paper cutting with old wooden style on the ceiling to create the ambiance out similiar like England.

In the bar, they serve variety of shots, cocktails and few choices of draft to choose from, one of their famous one is Strongbow.

For me and my siau friends, we always stick with Guinness and the other one stick with his favourite Budweiser.

These are my two siau friend + Colleague..

One of the reason we revisit this place is, the Happy Hour for Guinness is RM17++ per pint all night long and the place close on last man standing, with this kind of hospitality, what could we ask for. . .

Went to Brussels bout 2 weeks ago and I got shocked!

The very last time I walked passed there Brussels was only like conquering the place nearby its pillar and now, nearly to Starbucks territory. Did not know it had become such a happening spot or I am just outdate.

Just like all the people there, I will be one of their regular customer soon as I brought my best friends there and just realise not only they offer our favourite beer Hoegarden, they also offer alot of international beer. Not like those Heineken more like German,Irish, Australia and many more to name it out. Wide variety.

Get to know Hoegarden when I was studying in Melb. This bugger called me and told me that how good is Hoegarden this and that few years back. Then after hear her talk till so good, and during dinner also went to find some bar and pubs see any of those places serve this. Then till one place, called Long Room @ Collin Street opposite Polo shop and Gucci shop nearby. After found that place and it had become my favourite hang out place. Was 4 years back.

This definitely one of the best beer to have. Around RM30 after added tax and service charge. For those people who do not like to drink beer, this would be highly recommended. ‘Never try never know. Once try hari hari mau‘.(new quote that I learn)
