Alright, now in the market I cannot remember how many brands I have come accross and had tried how many already, since after Chatime started in Malaysia last year and Taiwan bubble tea industry in Malaysia had boom just like that. Just about a year, you can now find more than 10 Taiwanese bubble milk tea are in the market and many of them also mention no.1 in here and there.

Another new brand that pop out in my office area is this brand called Share Tea since 1992 and its Taiwan No.1 brand that had just landed with their first outlet in Sungai Wang.

Tried on Honey Aloe Vera , Classic Pearl Milk Tea (which is very mild in taste)

Mango Green TEa with Cream and Ice Jelly turns out to be the best so far. . .

Lime Green Tea with Yakult with mini pearls, so so only

and overall currently this brand is my last choice of brand I would turn to.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________

I was at Sunway Pyramid last weekend and walking alone to do some christmas shopping saw another new brand of bubble milk tea Mr.Wish located at the old wing or infront of Nando’s.

The outlet itself attracted me and after browsing thru their menu, this is one of the milk tea shop that offers something different that capture my attention is their fruit tea series.

Something that is not the same compare to many other outlet as they have Tea Latte, Fruit Tea and on that day I just decided to try out their Fruit Tea special.

My order is Lychee Fruit Tea with Pulp, which is a bit special compare to other brand and honestly, so many brands in the market, this Mr.Tea Fruit tea series stood up in my own personal chart, strong tea taste with a hint of lychee at the end of the taste, very refreshing and get to bite some of the fruit pulp. RM6.90.

I am looking forward to try their other flavours especially on their tea and milk tea series~

How many of you actually dine before Mexican food as not to mention those commercialize ones, as there is one that serve near authentic Mexician food which is Frontera Sol of Mexico that smack right in the heart of Jaya One. One of the few outlets that hard to miss if you are around the area.

What is in the house today is their Christmas menu, as you might think its early but nope, its just about a month away where is just nice you start to offer Christmas menu.

its a place that normal pack with families and friend to come by to get their favorite dish.

For their Christmas menu, they are preparing the food to be as authentic as possible, that will differ in individual taste.

One of the thing that I sip non stop is this Watermelon Agua Fresca – Non Alchohol drink, that had a bit of soda, sweet watermelon and mild lime taste as the end is just thirst quenching.

Next, head to the most classic drink of all is this 1919 Sangria an Alcoholic drink origins from Spain and, different restaurant, pub and bar prepare this drink differently, what you taste here might not be the same as other outlet as they have their own recepi on creating it.

Traditional Tamales (Choice of chicken / Beef)

Find that this is the Bak Chang in Mexician version. Like sticky rice, that have lots of ingredient inside and the taste is quite different but rich in ingredient.

Roasted Butternut Squah Soup With Sage Pesto, as after I finish the whole plate, as I thought it was pumpkin soup and I am a bit suprise that its not. It is butternut, anyway, I still enjoy the soup.

Mesquite Smoked Turkey with Broccoli Florets Topped with Chili Con Queso

This is one of the main star for the night that, when ask, do you prefer fish or Turkey. Instantly 90% of them order turkey, as during Christmas period, we have been taught from small is that Christmas = Turkey (must have dish). Turkey meat was well marinated, soft and prefect pair with gravy and the best of all to pair along that you must not miss is the pinkish Cranberry Chipotle Relish (a bit sour sweet and very unique in taste, I sure do not mind to have more of that), pair along with sweet potato, yes its sweet potato not meatloaf.

Since every one opted for the Turkey, so I try out their Veracruz-style Fillet of Red Snapper with mexican rice & sonora vegetables. Usually, I do not take fish and its quite beyond my expectation that the fish is good, soft fish meat and the gravy is abit sour and you eat along with jalapeno which is not too spicy, that balance up. After effect will make your tongue a bit numb.

Peach Tres Leches Cake

Key Lime Pie

I have ordered before on sausage platter but for the first time, this is the most unique sausage platter that seriously served with 7 types of different sausage ‘Wurstplatte (sausage platter) - mixed German sausage platter, served with sauerkraut, potato salad, senf, garlic mayo and habanero mayo @ RM88. Worth a try as you get to sample different texture and taste of it and best of all I love their homemade style mustard sauce that goes along perferctl

Worth a try as you get to sample different texture and taste of it and best of all I love their homemade style mustard sauce that goes along perfectly good!

when comes to German food, you must not miss this – Honey-Pepper Knuckle – roast knuckle with honey-pepper glaze, served with grilled streaky bacon, sauerkraut and potato ragout @ RM 59 – Recommended

The skin been roast to perfection, crispy inside out yet filled with flavor and with some burn parts, might stick on your teeth and the pork meat is so soft that you dip along with the sauce and the potato ragout is superb! - recommended

Lastly that served up is their desert Apple Strudel , puffy crispy on the outside layer, not too sweet on the filling and eat along with ice cream is sinfull. Its just a great desert to end our superb meal.

So far, with a few German Restaurant that I have come accross, I like this the best so far for authenticity and of course its highly recommended by me. If you guys do have better options, do let me know.:)

Food hunting now is not only hunting for place, and now it is about hunting for good deal over the internet for value meal or package. Recently before the deal end, I manage to get this deal from MadnessDeal that offer Turkish Fine Dining Food for only RM 49.90 with ori deal RM 103 that offer Lentil Soup + Lamb Doner Kebab + Pide + Desert + Drink and of course I get another RM 20 vouchure after that. So what could I ask for more in a fine dining, Iziint it is a madnessdeal? I would say it is. . . .

I have walk passby this shop alot of times yet have not really try it till this deal gives me a chance to do so. . .

Spacious yet filled with luxury ambience with soft background music with very soft spoken waitress show us our seat . .

In this kind of restaurant this is the kind of price that I am expecting. . Well, I got discounted deals. . .:D

From the list of drinks is available, we decided to go something more of their local delight, so we tried out Turkish Coffee that has very strong in coffee aroma, more like a espresso shot in Turkish version suprisingly every sip is not that bitter. . .

Turkish Tea

When Lentil Soup was served, we look at the structure of it and the thickness we thougt that it is something off, I guess the look had proof us all wrong, out of our expectation by squeezing the lime in it and stir it, it turns out to be good! Creamy and thick in taste which is something that I do not come accros most of my meal, and I empthy this plate within seconds. . .The soup is so perfect to go along with :

Pide - Turkish Flat Bread, it is freshly baked out from the oven, soft and filled with a bit black sesame taste and I rate it as Turkish Yau Char Guai .. Soft, chewy and dip in the soup is perfect!

Lamb Doner Kebab again prove us wrong by the look of it, and for those who love lamb without strong gamey taste of it, this would suits you good as my friend do not eat lamb but he finish this whole plate byhimself. The rice is more like ‘yau fan’ oily rice that is very aromatic, a bit dry like our chicken rice taste to eat along with the lamb and dip with the mint sauce I seriously have no complain.

then we decided to go for another extra order ‘Chicken Doner Kebab @ RM 39.90′ The chicken was grill till very soft and juicy in every bite.

I have always miss Baklava with the one that I have always eat in Melbourne and now, I have manage to find one to my liking which is not very sweet, yet teaste so perfect with mild pistachio nut taste in it, and every bite have the ooze like sugar in between without too sweet and I finish 1 n half place of this by steal half portion from my friend.

Honestly, this Turkish Fine Delight did suprise us the taste as we have underestimate them, luckily I have manage to got my MadnessDeal at their website to try out this great experience in this restaurant. I surely, do not mind to recommend this restaurant.

Looking for more deal, log on to their website: MadnessDeal.com

-= Ka Ching =-

Aren’t that when we are in shopping mall, we are spoilt for choices when comes to food, but then if when we are picky, it is not much that we can look at, its either we have to dig deeper into our wallet to get a really good meal or just close one eye and dine any where.

Then as my birthday coming up and I suddenly thought of Brozeits that Jac and Eric mention to me that in Mid Valley have quite a nice German restaurant, Brozeits and dinner will be there.. So I have asked everything I can on what to order in the restaurant. It just just a stroll to the very end of Chili Restaurant that direction which the restaurant is next to Maybank.. . .

On that night it was quite packed with people and the place look pretty comfy eh~

Normally with a classic German restaurant, most of their place will be decorated with a bit of wooden style like wall or floors or bar.. . . to blend the ambiance of German style

this drawings on the wall is really really interesting with the plan of how the process goes. While reading at the menu, only I get to know that how Brozeit comes from. . . ‘Brot’ being German for bread and ‘Zeit’ for time – referring to a small meal or snack accompanied by beer.

By looking at the menu, we were really lost for a moment both with the wordings and also the price. Certainly it is not cheap to dine here. For German food it is always for their German Beer, sausages and pork!

One of the highly recommended beer which for the very first time I taste it is ‘Mango Affensaft’ around RM 38, it is by far one of the most expensive beer that I have come accross, and if you are looking for something a bit different in taste, this is the one that you are looking foor, mild german beer which is very smooth that start a bitter taste in our tongue then follow by aromatic mango and a bit of sweetness at the end which is just perfect!

If you are a pork lover and seriously, this is a MUST ORDER - Schweinnemedallions/Pork Medallions - Grilled Pork Fillet Medallions wrapped in Smoked Bacon served with fries and sautee vegetable. . .RM 44, the pork meat is so soft and the pork bacon that wraps around it taste so good! The fries is just like the one I like from Carls Junior… dip with chili sauce just makes me stop eating. . .

Wursteplatte – Sausage Platter - RM 78 that consist of :

spicy chicken sausages, pork bratwurst, mini pork cheese sausages, weisswurst sausage, garlic sausage + sauerkraut

Next recommendation is Broizeitflade Speck/ Spicy Bacon Pizza - thin crust fladenbrot with roasted bacon, onions, vine ripened. If you are talking about German Pizza, this is by far one of the best that I come accross, thin cripsy filled with thick layer of cheeze and aromatic bacon taste is so good, even my brother cant stop eating this!

German food would never be perfect if you didnt go for Pork Knuckkle - RM 85 which is a super huge rack and that waiter told me that 1 portion is enough to feed for 3 pax and I ordered 2, which is totally very SALAH cuz a table of 7 with this 2 super huge knucckle with a few other dish is just too much!

Trust me, you would not want to miss this super crispy skin with layer of fats and the pork meat at the rock bottom is so soft. . . dip it with the gravy will just makes you continue eating.. . . ..

Lastly of course, we are too full till we wanted to faint because of the hugeeee knuckle and with this cake, we have very little space to eat it. Thanks to all my friends who had celebrated with me and this year I celebrated my birthday the most happening and Happy. . .

If you do come to this restaurant for dininig… my recommendation would be the Mango Beer, Pork Bacon, Bacon Pizza and the pork knuckle and if you do not mind to get a knock in your wallet!

-= Ka Ching =-

Food Rating 8.5/10,Sedap ehhh~ -Stamped-

Penang is always consider a food heaven which is very hard to deny. When my friends travel to penang the first thing they will do is calling me, Oi..Penang got what nice food to eat? Then my answer is check my blog. . .Lol, this round is pretty different that I ask my Penang friend what is nice and unique place worth to pay a visit and remembering CKlam did blog about this giant 14inch You Tiau or known as Chinese Crullers at Paya Terubong.

The place when you pass by will see this big banner but it gives you the feeling like the place is not open.

He did feature in newspaper for his gigantic you tiau.

His You Tiau are made fresh daily and a lot of orders from restaurants and hawkers for the crisp of it.

Boss, Mr.Tan busy at work.

Customise the size through handmade process then into a sea of oil for deep frying.

This frying machine was purposely customise to cater the 14inch cruller.

Normally, for you tiau we have the normal one but with the creativity they have add on some extra flavour on each of the yau char guai.

One of my favourite hang out place during tea time is The Loaf – U hu! Hu! By the look and located at the prime location in Pavilion level 3 that usually filled with people sitting down there chit chat have a quick bite of cakes and I am certainly used to be one of them when I work in KL business district.

A very simple and nice cafe style concept with board that using chalk to write all the menu in it.

When I am at this cafe, one thing that I have never left out which is this fridge. One of my favourite cheese cake fridge and shop.

My first try on Vietnamese food was during my college time where there is one quite famous Vietnamese restaurant at Taipan, USJ which is called Vietnam Kitchen. Went to this restaurant quite frequent and I love their soursop drink a lot! Wondering is the restaurant still there and is the quality still the same? Till my very last exposure which I had a satisfying meal was at Pho Hoa months back.

Then recently got a chance to try out their food again, but this round I try out their food at the very wrong time which during 9th God festival which I am on vegetarian. Then my friends they request the kitchen to do vegetarian for me. I plan to go sit and migle around mana tau kena makan.

Drinks to start of with ‘Vietnamese Dripping Coffee’ and if you are looking forward to be caffeinated then this is a good drink to go after. RM5.95

Something thick and creamy yet not that sweet ‘Blended Fresh Avocado Juice’ not my type of drink but still alright. RM7.95

I cannot remember what is the last drink called but I love it, gassy, yet a bit diluted feel but with asam that pulls in the taste of it.

All of us waiting patiently for our food to come and been explain by a friendly host. He is really a great guy.

As I remember when I was studying in Melb I used to hate this a lot because of the vegetable ingredient that they use and my housemate used to ta pau a lot back because he work in a restaurant till my Vietnamese friend teach me how to enjoy it and now it had become one of my favourite.

‘Summer Roll Shrimp, Chicken, Salad & Rice Vermicelli’ RM3.95 per roll as it was wrap solid as it is and you must dip it with the dipping sauce(taste something like, ‘Shrimp paste/penang rojak paste’) to make it very flavourful. Mine this round was pure vegetarian roll. Still as good as it is.

We had a mini version of the appetizer is for food tasting purpose making sure we enjoy most of it.

- Lemon Grass Chicken @RM7.95 per plate of 4 sticks
- Fried Roll @RM3.25 per roll
- Sugar Cane Prawn @RM7.95 per plate of 4 sticks

As this round me on vegetarian,so got no chance to try out but only to see and swallow my saliva but based on my previous food outing, the sugar cane prawn was grill and very aromatic.

When it comes to Vietnam food, beef is always their signature. It would be best to eat with beef as ‘Beef Pho with combination of Steak, Brisket, Flank, Tendon and Tripe’ @RM16.95 which is my all time favourite that all the lembu spare parts are in there. The soup base is clear and sweet as it taste like the parts had been cook along in it for hours.

As today I am hunting for healthy food concept, the next serving would be ‘Vermicelli with Veggie and Grilled Chicken’(mine without the chicken) RM12.95. To best eat it is to pour the gravy in, and mix it around like rojak then you eat. Something light and healty which fill in your taste bud with a bit of sour, sweet and clear feeling for you. The chicken meat is to pull up the taste of the veggie which goes along very well with it as what I have been told.

My vegetarian version.

I love my fried taufu very much as it is, fried to perfection to my likings that the outer layer is a bit solid crust crispy and the inside is soft and hot yet the show the taufu with the Vietnamese sauce is just heavenly.

Besides that, they do have ‘Seafood Noodle Soup’ as I did not try out this one, so cant really comment much on this.

Lastly, we got serve with ‘Net Spring Roll with Ice Cream’, a simple ice cream with fried yam that taste very yammmy which makes a perfect couple. RM5.95.

When comes to Vietnam Food, certainly this is in my list to recommend.

Thanks to Richard for organizing and thanks to Sidney for inviting. My last review on the shop, click here

Without getting invites from Coco (thank you), I did not even realize that there is a stall around there. Despite of the name, you can guess that something that they cook would involve oyster. Being a fan of small small oyster surely I am up for this. I just cannot take big juicy oyster like what have been offering at Japanese or Seafood buffet.

As the time pass, more and more people showed up and this is my very first review that we had so many blogger at one shot, so stim, till to the extend we occupied 90% of the place. Then we were like alamak, how she going to do business la~

This place not only offer ala cart, but they do offer in set meals.

I have not eaten fried oyster for ages yet still hunting for it. Well fried till some sides of the egg are crispy, a lil spicy and sour that makes the taste blend in well topping up with fresh oyster in the end is something we keep eating. I ate 3 plates of this charge at RM6 per plate. Recommended~

Still wonders does it still happen now. I prefer the carrot cake to chopped into smaller pieces and add on more garlic but this is as good as it taste. Fried with wok hei, and the pieces are cook evenly. RM5
