Lets put that aside and one of the new outlet we found that got sell PORK! yes…I say PORK is this place called Chicago Rib House which is located at new wing few doors away from the old Italianese. Their first outlet is in Penang and I have tried once . . Now we have decided to give it a go again~

A newly open place and its full house .. as the attended is pretty attentive, while waiting,t hey explain the menu to us. .

The whole concept is totally different compare to the Penang outlet. Its more cozy and comfortable with a bit of modern touch.

Of course you can see all the cute piglets on the wall . . .

Classic Mojito which consist of rum, soda water, sugar syrup, crushed mint leaves a dash of freshly squeezed lime juice and a stick of fresh sugar cane.

Lychee Mojito will certainly suits girls alot. You just drink drink drink non stop cuz its a bit sweet with lychee, hahh hahhhhhh..when the kick starts to kick in. . you will be either floating or planking on the floor. . .:D

Mai Tai – which is certainly the word suits the drinks. A strong drink infuse with alcohol as you don feel the strong taste of it. Overpower by the taste of pineapple ..  drink more you will see the effect~

After some tipsy drinks, we kick start our meal with Trio Sampler @ RM32.90.  Â Pork Chili Con Carne. It is accompanied by the the other 2 Trio Sampler members which comprise of Hot Buffalo Wings and Potato Skin. Love the potato skin`

And take your Corn chips  dip out the Pork Chili Con Carne and put it like that, its just perfect!

Pork Ribs (Full Rack, Flaming Kansas City) @ RM59.90 with 2 side dishes

This is not just ordinary slab of pork ribs. or I would say one of the more unique item in this restaurant.

its accompany by the small little shot glass there, as they are going to bath the ribs with bourbon. . .

Then they going to lit it up and burn it for a while to let the taste of the bourbon burns into the meat. While eating the ribs, you wont actually feel the taste of the alcohol but the after taste of a bit liquor makes it even better.

Before you are eating the pork ribs, you will be given a napkin and I love the quote, Caution, Porking in Progress … I have finish one of the ribs and will proceed to another process. . .

Love the classic sauce which taste more towards a bit like bbq n enhance with abit spicy chili in it. Love this one too . .

Grilled Bourbon Chicken @ RM27.90  

Two grilled boneless chicken breast topped with their signature bourbon sauce and sprinkled with mixed cheese. For the side dish, please choose the rice. as the rice is good!

If you love pork a lot and prefer more on meaty, this is definately one of your choice . 8oz. Pork Tenderloin @ RM32.90 grill to perfection that the meat is still soft after grilling, and the marinated sauce on it is just perfect and to bring it up more outstanding, right at the bottom of the meat, they include their own home made apple cinnamon dressing which is a bit sweet in taste yet pairs along with the pork very well.

Seafood lovers like my friend, they finish this Shrimp Olio @ RM32.90 just within minute, where you can see how generous of ingredient they had given in this plate. lots of shrimps .. .

Hickory BBQ Bacon Burger @ RM29.90

AS another star for the night, when you prefer something a bit budget yet satisfying, this bbq bacon burger is certainly worth to try. Its huge pork patty with melted cheeze and bacon just bring out the taste.

after this heavy heavy dinner, a full dinner must end with desert to make it complete for me. . .Brownie Royale @ RM12.90 with the brownie is not too soft also not too sweet, yet top with vanilla ice cream just nice.

Satisfying meal for me and my friends, I would say, there are not many porky place available around the area, this restaurant definitely stood out. .  Recommended shop~

I was there early that day and I came by and walked around, to my surprise its a huge mall..it took me bout half and hour to stroll whole mall . .

After my little stroll, I head to this cafe call Nolita, I as ask the owner how do they come across the name and they told me that it actually refers to one of the neighborhood  in up north known as Little Italy at Manhattan, New Yok. So in short they came out with Nolita.

As in this cafe, their mains is to offer customers quick meal or a nice place to hang out and one thing that must take note is their frozen yogurt is purely import from US.

I love the whole ambiance as its very casual and relaxing with simen base counter that host their sandwich choices and yogurt toppings. . .

They have wide selection of homemade cakes too  . . .

Besides that, if you come in group to have a place to chill and they also have a few board games available ..

As I am a fan of yogurt and I manage to order and tried a few of them . .

1) Mango Mango @ RM 8.50 – fresh mango used mix with yogurt that I finish this cup within few minutes, its addictive . . . – Recommended

2) Sour Attack @ RM 8.50 – for girls or guys who love sour that makes your jaw a bit numb then you should try this . .

3) Monster Cookie Ice Blended @ RM 9 – another cup that I just keep sucking till it finish and its quite addictive too . . – Recommended

4) Yo Berry Yo @ RM 8.50 – something light and mild in sour, which is just nice to have a cup to chat with friends. . .

If you want something light to go on then head for Caesar Salad @ RM 8

By just adding RM 1, you get yourself a plate of salad with chicken on it, Grill Chicken Salad @ RM 9, the dressing is a bit more solid, towards a bit more sour but eat it along with their own season black pepper taste grill chicken that tone down the taste is just nice. .

I like their Turkey Ham Sandwich @ RM 9.90  .. .

as I they are quite generous in their hams’ with at least 4-5 slices of it are in the sandwich, and the sandwich is not dry, moist enough with the dressing and I like it ..

As for their breakfast menu set, they have this . .

Love how they cook their eggs with one gentle poke, the egg yolk ooze out as I prefer to slurrpp it before it was been poke, then it is very fragrant enough with the grained black pepper on top that I just don need pepper or soy sauce. Its just perfect to eat it like that!

Creamy Mushroom Pasta @ RM 12

I love their Chocolate Fudge, which is rich in chocolate flavor and its soft in the inside and a layer of chocolate crust circle around it. Best to pair it with latte or earl grey tea. .  @ RM 7

Moist Carrot which is not too dry and rich in ingredient that I can cheew some of it, if the sweetness of icing on tone down abit it would just be perfect. @ RM 8

If you are a tea drinker I would suggest you try their tea, as the brand Dilmah is quite nice and its very fragrant.. I am not a Earl Grey Tea drinker as I do not know how to enjoy those kind of taste but I find this quite nice. . a mild yet very fragrant in taste n smell. @ RM 5

Best of all, I like their Frozen Yogurt is import from US and its fat-free and great for the stomach as its full with probiotic content. I certainly prefer this over Tutti Frutti  . . . .

Kalamazoo is actually the largest city in the southwest region of the U.S. state of Michigan as 4 Malaysians being stranger to the foreign land and had work part time thru their University time and by chance get to know each other by working in the same restaurant, and now they are back to open up a restaurant which is located at Aman Suria, PJ.

a place that provide nice and cosy ambiance with simple photo’s hanging on the wall that reflects some places of Kalamanzo. . .

A bit of American style of dining which they do have like higher table and chairs.

Kalamazoo is a place whereby offer some US food range infuse with a bit modernize taste to our  local taste bud.

They have a few unique dish that worth to try and the price range in here is very reasonable. . ..

Then after my colleague had been planning it for weeks where manage to get the whole office response to her request, finally we had arrange a PORK pizza day for most of the office staff.

We also tried on Pork Ribs , in 7 sauces (which I forgot to take picture) @ RM 20 although comes in a few pieces of huge ribs but the meat were quite hard and the 7 sauce taste wasnt sticking onto the meat.

Chicken Wingz @ RM 15 were not bad and Lasagna @ RM 15 as I don really like it as the layer of dough were quite thick.

As for a home made pizza, the ingredients added were very generous and quality is there, which is quite out of expectation to all of us. We love the pizza and we are looking for another Pork Pizza day again.

Pizza that I quite like is the Marc’s Special, Meat Lover and Vegetarian pizza. Love the soft cheezy taste even though we left it there for quite a while on the desk, the taste is there and we find that if went to pick up,  eat it while it is pipin hot it would be more delicious. Quite recommending it. . .

When the guy at the counter promote the new item which is available for limited time Sticky Wicked Chicken which is unique, boneless chicken tossed in a flavourful new sauce. Its a tender juicy strips and a bit of spicy sauce, well fried and crisp at the edge. RM4.95 for ala-carte

Follow by this smack ass Bonafide Chicken that my friend was crazy about. It just came out from bathing in hot oil, super crispy skin and hot meat till I have to let it cool down before I can eat the meat. Instead of bun they give biscuits which appears to be one of its signature too . .

I thought it was another style of like friend chicken pop corn then only realize it is Fried Shrimps. Small size and easy for me as it is one piece per bite. . .

One thing that sure kick ass is their mash potato, it is very soft then filled with small chucks of mince meat in it. Then I dip it with biscuits is good!

I just love their fries, another item that I do not mind to just order and eat purely on it. Once start to eat it, it just cant stop.

As Malaysians just love to eat rice, then they also do have Popcorn Shrimp Rice bowl available, and it is a bit healthy eating, as inside the rice they have read beans.

When I see many people check in this outlet, I have no clue who is Charlie Brown until I saw Snoopy in it. I guess we do know who is Snoopy since when we are a kid then I google bout it and only realise that Snoopy is actually a pet of Charlie Brown, well, till date I still called it Snoopy Café which I felt more suitable for it.

it was Monday for public holiday, many people throng Straits Quey for a family gateway or tea with friends.

Charlie Brown Cafe which is easily to be found as they are located directly above Papa Rich as once you take the escalator up here, you will see alot of flashes and once you are up you will be greet with lots of Charlie Brown n gang on the wall . .

The whole place is decorated with Charlie Brown n gang that many pictures you can be seen right like the comic feel.

Big and spacious place for you to hang out.

and there are 2 counters for you to line up to place your order, as they do not have menu on the wall something like Starbucks, their menu is a booklet menu place right beside the cashier, while waiting you can just pick it up and look at it where by it will cause the long queue because not many people notice on that.

It was quite okay, as in the chiller, they offer cakes of the day, and cashier was very friendly to introduce what they have for the day and what is their signature, I would say, she over promote the cakes but good efford.

You can be also seated right at this sofa area that can enjoy the view of the harbour  .. . .

If you do plan to by any souvenir, they have this souvenir shop that you are able to purchase their product directly.

and if you do plan to have little kids birthday party, I guess this function room will be the right choice to host on it, and also can do discussion . ..

Moost of their table are decorated with different Charlie Brown Character.

One of the most interesting thing is, I love their menu, as they do it in Comic Style. . .

and their cake section, with all the colourful design of cake that filled with individual character.

So what I say the cashier promote this Blueberry Cheese Cake as I find it very tempting also, as honestly, its just the look only. The cake tasted so so with too much sponge cake in it and the cheese taste is not impressive yet the taste of it was spoilt by the solid glitter candy which is too sweet that overpower the taste of the cheeze and blueberry. RM 9 (if not mistaken)

Here comes my ‘Mocha’ that turns out to be not bad, as I didnt expect it to be good as usually this kind of cafe do not serve good coffee. Just that the milk is burn, that makes it too hot to sip . . RM 11 ( if not mistaken)

This is one of their signature drink, as I cannot really remember the name of it as its more like a Oreo drink, I would say I have tasted much better ones. RM13.90 (If not mistaken)

Well, I do heard feedback from my friend saying that their food did not impress and I would say that, if you love camwhore and taking pictures, this would definately a place to come by and enjoy. For Food and drinks, I have no comment as with the price I am paying, I certainly can find much better one.

 It went there late evening, and it is very easy to locate it as the place was nicely light up with blue colour lighting. Looks more like a single story bangalow being coverted into a very nice dining place.

 You can choose where to be seated, as the have indoor and you will be impress with their simple, cozy beach contemporary style. .

 blueish pond like sitting in the middle of the restaurant creating a very natural flowing sounds is very relaxing. . .

 Then you also can opt to be seated outside to enjoy the seabreeze and enjoy the jazz lifeband . .

 The band for the night was good, the girls voice is sweet and we like most of the song she sings. .

 Then there is a side bar located on the other side of the restaurant and the waiter introduce me a few signature cocktail . . I told him, not this round, wait for me next round and I will be back . .

with any Wagyu burger orderd you are entile of 50% discount Tony Milkshake which usual price at RM9.90. This is Strawberry and my favourite is Chocolate.

To get us started with, start off with their starter and this is my first time to try out their Fried Mushroom that served with special mustard sauce.

Once started, its very hard to stop as it was fried perfectly and mushroom is a bit juicy and it will definately be a good combination with beer. - Recommended

For pasta, go for their best seller ‘Fresh Scampi Shrimp Pasta’ @ RM31.90 which is famous for generous amount of ingredient cook along in the dish like shrimps.

To make you more saliva dripping, this is how their new range of Wagyu Burger is being prepared, please do not be like me scared scared of the price where I always think that Wagyu = very expensive because its a premium beef, but with their new price tag on each of the burger it sure do suprise me alot!
