As for this Christmas, there will be a Caroling on 24 & 25 December 2019 and Catch Santa as he makes an appearance on 25 December 2019 in Hilton hotel, KL.

As soon as we stepped in to Sedap Restaurant, we were greeted with a wide-selection of sushi and thick slices of fresh sashimi. From appetizer to hot dish selection you can find both local and international delicacies. The seafood station serving fresh oysters and others for you to pick from.

It was a random find as my friend told me that he wanted to have seafood buffet and google a few blogs to check it out. Then asked Vkeong about this place as he recommended this eat all you can Talaykrata Seafood BBQ Buffet from RM 88+ @ Publika

When we reached, we are quite shock during dinner time on Friday night it is quite empty. This had made us skeptical about this place.

This is where you get to catch the live tiger prawns yourself.

Right at the front of the entrance, this is what you can, with frozen food series on the fridge, soft drinks, sauces and BEST OF ALL – is INCLUDING HAAGEN DAZs Ice cream!!!!! you gotta be kidding!

For excitement, you can catch the Live tiger prawns yourself. Just look at the size of Tiger Prawns!

Upon our dinning, the first plate of seafood are given complimentary (one time off) by headcount with:
1. 3 x big scallops
2. 3 x M size crab
3. 3 x Big head prawn

Just look at the big squid. It is so good and fresh.

The rest is all refillable:

– Mayo cheese oyster
– Mayo cheese scallop

– Mackerel fish (Saba)

Also the owner told me that she is in the verge of getting Halal Certified.

If you are up for seafood buffet in KL, this place is indeed a highly recommended place by me. Seafood is very fresh, price wise, they really win for such quality seafood that they are providing. Run by lovely Sabahan old couple.

One of the best seafood buffet or eat all you can seafood buffet in KL.

Sukishi Japanese Hotpot Eat All You can from RM 35+ at The Starling Mall, Uptown Damansara is a sister company of Sukiya. The difference between these 2 shops are only Halal and Non-Halal.

Sukishi is the outlet that serve with pork slices. So if you are a pork lover, then here could be one of your option.

5 types of soup for you to choose from. this round we chose, Sukiyaki and Japanese Mala and another pot is Kim Chi and Miso Soup.

Among the 4, Sukiyaki still the prefered choice, follow by Kimchi. Japanese mala is a unique version by itself, as the taste is the beginner level of Mala. Not even near to those Taiwan or Hong Kong version. Miso is pretty good too.

Our usual meat attach is beef, lamb and pork slices. chicken is out .

Getting my niece in to be model. . .

Do ask for 1 each to go on first before you order massive. Usually we will test the meat quality out first. Well, it never disappoint with the quality of meat. Then we start attacking and stacking up the plate.

If you are too hungry while waiting for the soup to boil, you can always start with their sushi offerings at the condiments counter.

Free flow of condiments for you to mix around. If you are not too sure what to mix, then they do have their own signature sauce that you can just follow which is their Spicy Ponzu Dipping Sauce. Not to my liking as I still prefer mixing my own version.

Besides free flow meat upon request, they do have vegetable counter nearby for you to pick up your favourite ingredient to be added into your hotpot.

To finish off, drop by at their dessert counter. Serving you Soft serve ice cream with green tea and vanilla available that day. For drink station, I drank alot of barley tea.

Well, for the price that we are paying, definately no complain at all, however I still prefer Sukiya over this. As sukiya soup base is much flavourful. For this outlet it seems pretty mild in most of the soup base. However, depends on your own preference as this is constantly packed.

For nearby eat all you can shabu shabu, my preference as below:

Red Inn Hotpot Eat All you can at RM 78+ @ Tropicana Avenue

I have been to this outlet twice and this would be my third time back here. Never knew they had buffet now as Red Inn Hotpot Eat All you can at RM 78+ / RM 98+ with Karaoke Room at Tropicana Avenue. Have check on their Facebook site, and the menu looks pretty promising, hence decided to give it a try as the hotpot here is not too bad and not too expensive (of course not to over order)

For the first time, I am seeing sauce area so messy.

Food list that we order . . never came complete.

Our Soup base:

Malat Spicy Soup- Add RM 20 (we add on) taste normal and felt localise or nearer would be like Taiwan version. Definitely not China as lack of herb and spiciness is not there.
Sake soup is pretty good as you need to cooked it longer.
Pork Bone soup so so for this round as it used to be better
Superior Clam indeed is good, pack with flavour.
still think their tomato soup is pretty good, (on my last visit)

Free Shaved ice, but have to be timing based, as was told by the waiter either you have it now if not next session of shaved ice is 10.30pm. We were like, what is this la! then see a lady been occupying the station for other table also.

To be honest, the meat quality here is pretty spot on, especially on the Iberico pork slic & Lamb. However my comment as below:

For buffet food service, they sucked!
1. My Iberico pork slices have to order 5 times and only serve 3 boxes which I order total of 5. Takes ages to arrive and constant reminding. It felt that they pace it out slowly and to kick you out after 120 minutes up!
2. Prawns finished when we wanted to re-order (please put a sign limited stock per session) as our first order never came, it was only 8.15pm
3. 2nd order of scallop with reminder of staff 3 times – never came
4. other meat slices also never came after second round or serve 1 portion out of 4 types of different meat.
5. Sauce area: Garlic took 30 minutes to replenish , parsley never arrive after that.

Overall, for such pricing with the ingredient they are serving its pretty good in value. However with some of their staff attitude like why not u reorder – (even after placing order 2-3 times) food never came. Except there is one young chap, he is pretty good!

Kinda disappointing for such business to be operating as I felt rip off. Not honest in running a buffet business.

FeiFan Hotpot Buffet from RM 35.90 @ Kiara 163

Heard about this Hong Kong FeiFan Hotpot Buffet offer quite a good value meal that a hotpot buffet starts from RM 35.90+ for lunch and RM 45.90+ for dinner at Kiara 163 Retail Park, Mont Kiara. By the price point, it certainly do look like a great deal.

Came here to check it out as got a free birthday meal from my brother, so instead of heading to our favourite Sukiya, we came here to try it out.

Hong Kong Hotpot sure taste slightly different as they have their own style.

An interior which is quite comfy and slightly luxury. I was seated at the far right in the picture and that spot is quite warm.

Tick your soup base and meats that you would like to have.

Vegetable counter and some other ingredients.

Sauces for you to choose or dip on, or follow their signature style. I have decided to do my usual style .

Drinks counter and end with soft serve ice cream

I wanted mala but my bro’s family dont take spicy so they Ordered Pork Bone Soup and Tomato Soup. Pork bone soup taste is not bad as the longer it cooks, the taste gets better. If you want to something mild sourish then tomato is not too bad.

Most of the meat ingredients and dumplings are freshly made, and it is not too bad too. Including some fish noodle that is freshly made.

Overall, for the pricing wise, I totally have no complain as for lunch and a buffet per person is that kind of price. Certainly do not mind to come back again to check out their Malat soup base.

For similiar price point, I would still prefer Japanese style as Sukiya or Mikoshi at Uptown Damansara

If for Hong Kong Steamboat catagory, I would recommended this place.
