Pick your favourite ingredient from the counter with more than 30 types of ingredients to choose from. Of course not missing out those unlimited meats that you can order from the small docket on your table.

consist of Lamb, Beef, Pork.

Condiments counter is generous too. they have a mini menu chart behind to guide you on best recommended sauce. But my style is nearly 80% of it mix into one bowl. Do beware that their red chili is really spicy.

eat all you can buffet in kl

Unlimited free refill for soft drinks, Chinese tea is recommended (they have chrysanthemum Pu er combination (if I remember correctly) ! Soft serve ice cream is da bomb. Never expected it to be classic good!
fei fan hotpotThese are my selection of meat and veggie to kick off. There are 4 soup base in total.

Herbal soup , Spicy Mala, Pork Bone Soup , Pepper Pig Stomach

Personal recommendation would be their Spicy Mala – is actually an entry level. No like those China Hotpot spicy and decently and eat it comfortable. More like entry level.

their new flavour Herbal Soup would be my next recommendation. Love this soup as strong in herb taste, easy to drink and match with most of the ingredients that they have.

I am totally impress with their new soup quality. Certainly believe they have improve so much compare to my last dining experience.

fei fan hotpot mont kiarai would advise you come in a group of 4 so you can try more stuff. Their freshly made wanton and sui kow is pretty spot on. soft, generous  with fillings..best hotpot in klBest of all, one of my favourite ingredients is new in their menu, Duck BLOOD! unlimited of it. IF you are in KL City Center and looking for Korean food, then you can turn to HanSang at Pavilion Elite. One of the restaurant can decently satisfy your Korean palate if needed.

HanSang (1)

You can pick variety choices from your bimbap, to bbq or fried chicken series.

HanSang (2)Their Korean pancake is edible, not he best as it is soggy version.

HanSang (3)

HanSang (4)One of the save bet is bimbap You will never go wrong with that.

HanSang (7)Cheese lovers might want to consider this as, the fried rice is good and coated with cheese is best to share this portion

HanSang (8)

Mandu is quite direct too.

HanSang (28)

We had Korean bbq too. Choices of meat is pretty spot on.

HanSang (10)

Another I would say a save bet is also their Army Stew. Soup seems clear but the powder mixture that they use to make the soup punch with flavour is their secret. How not to miss to top up with their ramyeon.

HanSang (20)

HanSang (11)

HanSang (12)

Variety of banchan is provided and the sesaoned egg is good.

HanSang (5)

I would say that their bibinbap is pretty good. A variety mixture of veggie and hint of gojuchang sauce and stir fry in the hot bowl is quite okay. I felt that it is more like a heathier version.

Not the best Korean food you can find round the area, but given the fact its the no choice punya choice, then kinda okay. You do not need to drive to those famous Korean food area like Ampang or Mont Kiara. I felt that for City center, this is kinda decent Korean food in KL that you can opt in for.

KAPE 카페 at Kepong is one of a cafe in KL that has “so called” Korean cafe. I honestly thought it was run by Koreans and got excited to go over to check it out. when reach and the language transpire is in mandarin, so I was like oh, Korean Concept.

to me as for Korean Concept cafe, 2 things must get right. Toast and long black.

Interior is something very simple. Near to full white.

cafe in klby picture itself, since it looks more tempting, decided to go with Korean Street Toast, If i am not mistaken it is RM 18. I must say the smell certainly is inviting and One of a better toast that I have come across. Certainly do carry the Korean vibe as it carry strong flavors. with Spam and kimchi egg is certainly something very appetizing – recommended
coffee in kepongThen for me of course must go with Long Black, as that’s that Korean mostly drink on. It is more on the acidic side and it is decent la.

the Lemon Butter Cake is not too bad. moist enough to go as a while set .

KAPE 카페It is not located at the main road as you need to spot Baskin Robin, then side walk next to it. Not a bad cafe for Kepong people to hunt for or even cafe hop. Price is medium range.

Siew Kee Pork Noodle at Manjalara Kepong is one of the famous pork noodle in Kepong this neighborhood. After I posted in my stories only got to  know it is a few of my friends regular lunch place. I find that this is not your regular Pork Noodle soup place which is a bit unique. I find its a kind of combination of local x east malaysia like Sabah or Sarawak style.

pork noodle in kl

it is a simple comfort food and the store had been operating for more than 15 years already at the same location.

siew kei noodle house restaurant (3)Here are some of the sparer part for you to chose or you want all in like mine?

what to eat in kepongsiew kei noodle house restaurantFor soup base I find it normal, if you order bee hoon, the taste is covered up. Soup base taste could not taste as prominent as the dry seperate version.famous pork noodle in klSince I observe alot people order the dry noodle, I decided to try one portion for dry and another portion soup base.  Dry pork noodle – Koey Teow Mee with all pig spare part.

Soup base is great as  I tasted there is a hint of “chinese wine” or siew weng chow in the soup base that give its uniqueness. Pork parts are all cook to perfettion, soft part where it is needed. Missing out is pork intestine. then that would be perfect.

pork noodle in kepongKoey teow noodle is different as when it was serve, I believe it is drench with some fresh pork oil as the aroma of it is very prominent and serve with some sweet soy sauce, some other mixture and pork lard. I find this pretty good. Noodle and gravy itself is on the sweet end with pig oil taste quite prominent.pork dry noodlepork noodle manjalara

Overall, I find it not too bad for a comfort food around the area. Do not mind to come back again as I want to try their Yee Mee Next. Is this the best? every one have their own preference taste. I find it quite worth to give it a try as not the usual ordinary style.

There have been tons of hype for this Natalina Italian Kitchen in Avenue K, KL. Many have regard as one of the best Italian restaurant in KL. Visited this place early this year along with the hype and trying out a few dishes.

I was told that this restaurant is run by a classic Italian and that is why they are so well known here. It is also recommended by a few of my Italian counterparts as they rated as one of the food that very close to their home.

best italian food in kl

Seating space here is not huge and if it is full house, you might find it abit cramp.

authentic italian food in kl

avenue kWhat is famous here is certainly one of their pizza series as all pizza are made fresh upon orders.

DSC01251Each of the table got their own freshly made bread to go off with. starting off with their special house made pesto, tomato and olive base condiments. It is actually pretty good as all 3 have pretty distinctive flavours.

lasagneWhat attracted me in the menu are these few dishes. If there is a chance I would always try to order Lasagna, Not too sure if this is in the menu as the one I see in the website I could not find this dish anymore. This is one of a lasaga that is punch with flavours. Mince meat is cook to soft perfection and serve with melted cheese, with fried leaves that gives it a nice end crips texture. Best for sharing.

franks barI have always been a big fan of Pappardelle con Guancia di Manzo @ RM 72 – broad pasta strips with wagyu beef cheeks white ragu, topped with Roman Pecorino cheese.

Certainly one of my favourite as it is hard to find nice version of this. It have to be wide and light weight and cook to al dante. This is unique as the sauce is great and even better with Pecorino cheese. Gives you a nice strong bold flavours from both tomatoish and mild bitterness of the cheese. Goes really well with the white wine I have chosen.

NATALINA FOOD MENU

DSC01243Usually i would go for classics Margarita and seems why not with something elevate for the day. Just hitting on something simple Tarfuto @ RM 68 – Buffalo Mozzarella, scarmoza, mixed wild mushrooms and wild truffles. It is a simple pizza that does not goes wrong. If it is wrong, then they would not be one of the recommended Italian restaurant in KL.

Edge is burnt to perfection with crips on the side. Love the dough as it is thin crust and I believe it is sourdough?

wood fire pizaz

best tiramisu in pjThis is OhMyLord! . I would have to rate this as one of the best tiramisu I come across. It is very hard to come across such texture, taste to my liking. IT IS A MUST ORDER! Classic Traditional Tiramisu @ RM 45 (contains alcohol)

It is moist and the mascarpone cream is beat to perfection. Soft and fluffy yet the base is punch with espresso and the top is with strong cocoa powder with nice bitter end. Every little bits of chocolate give you a nice bite. It is a well balance of flavour. Sweet, nice bitter end and a mild hint of alcohol punch at the end. it is PERFECTO!

Natalina Italian Kitchen

Is it the best Italian restaurant in KL? This will be down to own individual preference. I find it quite decent and certainly will be back again to try their other items. Price wise is on the high side.

It is best for you to make reservations especially for dinner. Lunch you can still try your luck for walk in

this place is one of my friends favourite and was introduce to him that I should try this bouncy handmade noodles at Kepong’s New Ban Lee Restaurant 新万利面食  . . It is a kind that is similar to udon, the strands are thicker with a little more bite and slight chewy.

They are also famous with their kopi-peng which is quite kau and with bitter end. kepong food

My friend insisted that we should try only their classic which is the dry noodle soup. Drench with their special dark soy sauce and some special mixture with mince meat.
