This is not your usual Sesame Tofu . The texture is so smooth that you are forgeting it is tofu. It is made with black sesame and arrowroot powder.

Okonomi (11)

Avocado with Cheese is a simple snack with Avocado wedge on grilled cheese melt. It’s creamy and cheesy but a tad too oily for my liking.

best okonomi

Jeng jeng jenggg. This is their signature. A must have from Chef. Okonomaki that is done to perfection. The okonomaki is thick enough to my liking, punch with flavour especially chef special sauce. Salty fragrant and goes well with the Pork Okonomaki.

Okonomi (12)

Their next signature is also their  Australian Wagyu Sirloin@ RM 190. With some fats in between, grill to just nice. Every bite is enjoyable.

Okonomi (13)

Okonomi (14)

Ral d’ Avinyo Pork Chop @ RM 45

MyNews (3)

As I look through the rack, it is quite an extensive bread range and I ask the lady at the counter to introduce me their best seller. Pandan Kaya Bun @ RM 2.90. is their best seller and also the lady’s favourite and decided to grab one. Also she recommended Onion Cheese Bun @ RM 2.90.

Also another surprise. The bread turns out better than expected.

MyNews (13)

As for the spaghetti, you can reheat at the hot food section and recommend timing is at 2minutes. Will come out pippin out and handle with care. Was told even that I do not have to remove the cling wrap. Can put it in all together.

MyNews (15)

Was recommended again by the lady that her favourite is Spicy Belado Spaghetti @ RM 10.90. To my suprise this turns out to be quite good. A local twist that is punch with spicy (not too spicy) that is just nice for a lunch meal. Spaghetti is not soft nor too hard even after microwave 2 minutes. Pretty good though and for RM 1 promotion lunch. Can definitely grab a few.

Bubble tea hype had reached their new hype. With so many brands flocking in, crazy people queue for hours just to get their 5-1o minutes thirst quencher. Finally, I was in luck over the long weekend and saw the queue at Tiger Sugar in Sunway Pyramid is a short one, we quickly jump into the line to check this brand out.

Tiger Sugar (1)

Tiger Sugar (3)

Most of their menu is not that big. Usual first timer selection will be their signature.

Tiger Sugar (4)

Their Signature is Brown Sugar Boba milk with cream Mousse @ RM 12.90. Mind you that, the latest trend for a cup of bubble tea is crazy expensive. The difference of this brand compare to others is their signature cream mousse.

Tiger Sugar (5)

Was told by the server that we need to turn upside down for 8 times before drinking it. Well, some of my friends just stir it for better experience. So it is really up to you how you are doing it just to enjoy your boba.

To me, this is by far the sweetest boba tea. Is only the sweetness of brown sugar give you a big punch in your palate. Milk taste is quite prominent as it didnt blend well. A creamy taste from the mousse and Boba is slight chewy.

Tiger Sugar (2)

My current boba standing chart:

Signature drink:
1. Xing Fu Tang,
2. The Alley
3. Tiger Sugar (by far the sweetest among these 3 brands)

Normal Milk tea:
1. The Alley (pretty good!)

I wrote in my previous blog, so which do you prefer? Tiger Sugar vs The Alley

Pavilion Hotel (26)

Pavilion Hotel (27)

The star highlight of the dish is this Chawan Mushi  It is a recommended item.. Prepared with crab meat and salmon roe. Pack with flavour. You can taste the sweetness of the crabmeat with salmon roe that burst in your mouth that give you hint of saltiness to balance it up, yet the egg custard is smooth and airy..

Pavilion Hotel (28)

For ice cream, usually I will try others flavours over the classic green tea. Their Sesame and … is a rockstar. Refreshing and love the toasted mild burnt sesame taste.

Pavilion Hotel (29)

Pavilion Hotel (30)

Before calling off a night, we head down to their cocktail bar Whisky Cove at level 7M for a drink.

Pavilion Hotel (34)

A cozy bar that is just nice, not too big and best of all they have a few rooms and corners that you can hide off from the crowd that give you good space of privacy. Of course sitting in the bar is the perfect spot to be.

Pavilion Hotel (31)

Not a fan of cocktails but I am impress with this mixologist as his mix of flavours is well balance and you can taste each layer of flavour that being created. The funny part is, beer here is more expensive than the cocktails. Certainly do not mind to come here again for the cocktails.

Juicee (7)

Juicee (8)

Quite like their choice of sandwich as they prepare everything from fresh including their bread. There are 3 choice to choose from and one of a favourite is their olive bread.

Mango and Smoked Salmon sandwich @ RM13.90 which is kinda a good bargain. Depending on the choice of bread that you are choosing, it is airy and light for the bread and the choices of sauce is kinda intresting to go along such as wasabi mayo and mango ingredient in it. Nevertheless, it turns out to be good.  which was light and refreshing with a hint of wasabi mayo.

Juicee (9)

Juicee (10)

for this round, tried 4 types of juices in different catagory.

Juicee (11)

Among the four that I tried are:

  1. Detox Agent : Bloat Beater @ RM 9.90 (Lemon, Pineapple, ginger & Apple) indeed a powerful drink
  2. Energizing Smoothies  : Avocado Dream @ RM 10.90 (XL) – Avocado, Banana, Mango, Low-fat milk & low fat vanilla ice cream
  3. Tropical Sunshine @ RM 8.90 (M) – Mango, Banana, Low-fat milk & low fat vanilla ice cream

Juicee (12)

Juicee (15)

They also recently launch their Milky Treatz series as to elevate their choices of juices by providing variety to customers. Tried their Jackfruit Jive @ RM 11.50 (M size only) and turns out to be pretty good. Solid taste of jackfruit and slightly milky to my liking.
