Best hidden Burger in Shimokita Space SS15 Subang

I would say this is one of the Best hidden Burger in SS15 Subang, PJ.. At first when I saw this instragmmer posting about this place and saw the beef patty, I must immediately plan to swing by to this place. Shimokita Space in SS15 is actually a clothes bundle shop cum burger joint that been operating about a year ish. It is not hard to find this place as those of you that are familiar with Subang Square, you can park right there and walk over. Locate the famous SS 15 Rojak shop, and it is directly across the street on that row of shophouse.

Interstingly located TNB place then a kinda run down door that gives you the feeling that you are going up to like doggy place then thats the correct vibe you need to have then walk up.

you will not miss out the place as you climb up the stairs as you will be rape with strong grill smell. If it does not happen means the pit is not burning yet. You will be greeted with those kind of 90’s J-pop songs era then that is indeed correct.

You can turn left or rigth from the entrance from their Japanese Subway signage.

I am in love with the vibe here as this is so retro, square box tv, type writter if those of you dont knwo what is that can swing by, classic Aiwa Audo set and a perfect place for photo opps. Just look around this room its like nearly every corner you can just OOTD ke plenty photobomb!

They have very straight forward menu. My favourite is Classic Beef Burger Smasburger and for single starts from RM8. Just amazing price.

Those of you cant take beef then you can opt for their Shimokita Spicy Chicken Burger from RM 14. Which is also a pretty good choice.

Creamy ButterBeer @ RM 14 is their signature and crowds favourite. Give it a try. It is not a beer but just their naming.

This is their all time crowds favourite or best seller Classic Beef Burger Smasburger @ RM 8. For this price, I have to all hands down on deck for them. One of the best cheap burger in PJ that I have come across only if their beef patty is made by themselves. Cheese is well coated onto the burger and the bun is gril to perfection. Slightly toasted and some burnt edges inside the bun.

One bite just blew your palate away. A great mixture of saltiness from the cheese, nice season beef patty, umami special caramelize onion sauce and the hint of buttery just flows in. its really good.

Next wanted to try another version is their Shimokita Cheese Burger @ RM 10. this is slightly more jucier with the sauce that they have drench on, abit more helty with some greens and tomato and with its unique hidden taste is with jalapeno.

Some adventure with your palate then this is the one to go after. I still love their signature classic.

this is the doggy door for you to walk in. I am certainly going to come back to try their classic triple patty.

If you are looking for affordable cheap street gourmet burger in Subang, you can temporary come to this place as I only discover this place.

Bubble Tea frenzy had not only reach Malaysia. Apparently Korea also have this Heuk Hwa Dang 黑花堂 known as Korea no.1 Bubble milk Tea brand at the moment now opened its first branch in the heart of SS15.

A style of its own and variety of milk tea available.

They also specialize in softserve and their nougat cracker.

myNEWS.com is one of a convenient store that is spreading massively across Malaysia. I have seen them evolve alot over past few years and with the latest by adding fresh food into their selected bigger outlets. Adding bento box, sandwich, onigiri and a few others as their quick grab and go section that is delivery fresh daily.

with this, now they are running a promotion on every Tuesday (Bento) and Thursday (Onigiri) for ONLY RM1 . What you need to do is only to download their myNews.com App through Playstore or Appstore.

In selected outlets, they have also introduce their fresh bakery section known as Maru Bakes. You can grab their produce that is delivery daily to the outlet.

As I look through the rack, it is quite an extensive bread range and I ask the lady at the counter to introduce me their best seller. Pandan Kaya Bun @ RM 2.90. is their best seller and also the lady’s favourite and decided to grab one. Also she recommended Onion Cheese Bun @ RM 2.90.

Also another surprise. The bread turns out better than expected.

As for the spaghetti, you can reheat at the hot food section and recommend timing is at 2minutes. Will come out pippin out and handle with care. Was told even that I do not have to remove the cling wrap. Can put it in all together.

Was recommended again by the lady that her favourite is Spicy Belado Spaghetti @ RM 10.90. To my suprise this turns out to be quite good. A local twist that is punch with spicy (not too spicy) that is just nice for a lunch meal. Spaghetti is not soft nor too hard even after microwave 2 minutes. Pretty good though and for RM 1 promotion lunch. Can definitely grab a few.

For onigiri @ RM 4.90 with their Thursday special promo with app is only at RM 1. One of my favourite. Fresh seaweed wrap and cream cheese did not overpower. A perfect simple quick bite for me. I constantly make it take away whenever I take KLIA 2 flights.

Xing Fu Tang @ Kepong

Just saw I have some pictures over this and I tried Xing Fu Tang for the first time when they open their outlet in Kepong. One of the reason did not hit to SS15 is because of the crazy queue. Xing Fu Tang finally in Malaysia had make its famous mark of boba milk tea in overseas.

Xing Fu Tang in Kepong was one of the first few outlets expansion in Klang Valley. Queue every where was crazy and their menu is very simple. Just a few SKU and with their signature as below.

Brown Sugar boba is cooked fresh and stir right infront of you. A lot of friends told me that it us so unhealthy when they put the hot brown sugar n boba into the cup. It to me a while to come into realization that izint what we have our take away food in “bungkus version” and noodles are hot?

Their signature drink is rather simple. A coated brown sugar around the cup, filled with milk, top with another layer of sugar then burnt it to melt to create a crips layer for you.

While waiting for your drink, try your wish luck from this massive stick. See which of the stick stick out compare to the rest, take the stick out and see what is the number then match back on the little pockets on the wall. that will be the luck of what you wish for.

Brown Sugar Boba Milk @ RM 12.50

Well, I have tried a few outlet of Xing Fu Tang even all the way for Xing Fu Tang in Penang. Conclusion is different outlet different taste but this branch in Kepong is pretty good.

Love the brown sugar taste which is slightly quite strong, the little biting crips from the burnt sugar and fresh milk is prominent. the flavors blend well.

If you ask me what is my fav brand right now, I would say The Black Whale (a local brand- that I have yet blog). Xing Fu Tang remains top 3 in my list for their signature series.

Nam Heong Ipoh had become one of a home brand that me and my friends do know about especially when it comes to visit Ipoh. Famous for their coffee and egg tart. However, over the years, they have spread their wings around Klang Valley and with their latest Nam Heong outlet in 1 Utama into their latest addition.

Famous bubble tea street in SS15

Bubble tea fever is high! If you travel to certain countries in Asia, you will get to see bubble tea street. However over the months. Bubble tea industry is taking over Malaysia by storm. Now we do have our own famous bubble tea street in SS15. Interesting enough, some of my friend call it the new Zoo Negara. (just check out the brand logo)

There are alot of brands just fighting over a space in that area and I believe thanks to The Alley who started their first outlet over there and with their succession, they have created a massive competition within 9 months. A space where fill with students where they have a luxury of time yet queuing for your favourite boba is a common thing now.
