Early morning what do you usually have for your breakfast? Western? Local cuisine? It had been a while since I last visited this place, which is old school and classic. Its not more than this famous Indian cuisine that had been operating here for more than 10 years. Roti Canai Transfer road is also known as one of a landmark to me and my friends.

I could not even can remember when was the last time I came here, it was many many years back.

transfer road (1)

I have always wanted to drop by but most of the time I could not wake up. At last was force to wake up by Ken and manage to come by this place.

transfer road (2)

On the tray itself, roti canai is being fried non stop as many people are waiting and taking away too.

All the gravy are serve pippin hot and it was just perfect that the morning itself it was morning and just the right things to pair after.

Dining experience here is very different compare to other places as you have to squeeze in this pretty tight spot to have your seat. With much more seating, canteen style pretty much reminds me of primary school days.

Every one just sit in single line and face the road yet we enjoy the view of the busy chef preparing all the pipping hot roti canai.

transfer road (9)

What we usually order a piece of beef in this special gravy with their very own recepi, do not deceive by the fiery red curry as its not too spicy yet aromatic with spices.

Love mine with lots of extra gravy and another item that you shall not miss is their season onions to pinkish colour. A bit sweet in taste which is their signature item here.

If you do visit penang for holiday, sure this is one of my favourite place to recommend for your early breakfast. Just simply delicious

Back in college days, there is one little place that we used to hang out when craving for desert, before they move to a proper building which is this Crepe Cottage that located along side in Gurney Drive, well,  the current landmark to look for is this little shop is located next to Coffee Island or Overtime at Gurney Drive.

Crepe (1)

This humble little shop have very limited in place is run by a family and they have been operating for more than 10 years if I am not mistaken. Their shop is very limited in space, therefore always you have to wait as their service is pretty slow. On average for serving is about 20minutes and waiting time can stretch till 1 hour. So if you do not have patient then you can forget about this place.

Crepe (3)

There are quite alot of choices of Crepes to choose from in the menu with front and back . . .

Crepe (4)

Besides that, they do sell fusion food ranging from western, Italian and some locals cuisine.

Crepe (5)

Nutela @ RM 11

Crepe (6)

So we ordered 2 different crepes starting off with this one in wraps style. Wrap with banana slices, top with whipped cream, shower with chocolate rice on top and chocolate syrup and a scoop of Choco ice cream turns out to be the winner compare to another one, as banana is so fresh n soft, love the strong taste of it and pairs very well with nutela chocolate. The wrap is very aromatic and just eat along with full combination is savory.

Crepe (8)

 Sunburst @ RM 10

Is another version of pancake desert is more like so round slice like MacD breakfast pancake but of course its much better than MacD alot of times. This comes with slices of mango, peanut and top with Mango Ice cream. We just love the base of the pancake . Still think Nutella is better.

Well, not many places offer very nice pancake desert and this is certainly one of the places to look for, prices might be a bit expensive as I still think worth spending for once a while .. for their food I have not try before yet. One of the recommended place by me if you are craving for crepes in Penang.

If you do find other better places please do let me know, I love to go find out on it .. 😉

I got tempted alot of times when my friends mention to me they found one of the best Ramlee burger stall in KL where some even rate it no.1 in Malaysia. The closest of all devil is Ken! always tell me, kia, lets go tandori chicken which is 2 streets away then go OM Burger, usually already flat out at the Tandori and cant even have space for another burger.

OM burger (1)

It was till this round decided, after Tandori and nan’s we have to check it out already. To head here, its not a easy location to hunt this little burger stall which is hidden behind a row of malay eatery, where even you drive pass by, you would not really notice this 7-11 outlet which the little stall is located.

OM burger (2)

When we reach here, there were already alot of people waiting for this burger and according to the boss, most of them are his regular that are as old as more than 10 years already. This little stall is being operate by the dad and son is helping out and you can see how professionally the son work.

OM burger (3)

The price of the burger really caught me off guard where by, I thought it would be slight more expensive cause its nearby KL city center but it is decently price.

OM burger (7)

Besides on the usual menu, he do have fish, mutton, and oblong version which is slightly thicker than the normal patties.

OM burger (4)

In a stall like that, a huge tub of margarine and mayonnaise is a must!

OM burger (5)

Then when our eyes look at the huge tray of patties were being grill, our jaw dropped! Look at how the patties are being cook. Flooded in high level of margarine and the whole grill area is very sloppy and greasy .

OM burger (6)

My usual order would always be Burger Special with Cheeze, which cost around RM 5 and heard most of the people here order double special. That get me curious and I upgrade mine to double too even though I am super full. Looking at how he fried the egg is just being left in the iron plate that soak with high level of margarine, just let it bubble to cook then place on the patties on top of it.

OM burger (8)

Double special which means it will have 2 patties that you can choose to have 1 patty chicken, 1 patty beef or same choices of double slice. Of course I choose mine a mix, where by a layer of cheeze is smack in between and ketchup were squeeze on top of the patty

OM burger (9)

This is how messy the burger is when it is being placed onto the bread.

OM burger (10)

The most unique part of all, he had include his home made black pepper sauce and best of for the first time in my life, I see this guy squeeze mustard on top of the patty which I have never come accross any except on western deli menu.

After I have the first bite on my burger, I just finish the whole burger in seconds and just wish that I had bought another one. The burger burst with flavour, both of the patties were moist and juicy enough. The sauces of chili, mayonise, mustard all blend in so well with the burger and the bread is soft which I just enjoy every bite of it!

OM burger (11)

This is the stall whereby attracted many people to wait for their burger at least 30 minutes and my friend waited before even an hour!

Well, its well worth to wait as now for street ramlee burger, this stall had just top in my list, also makes it a highly recommended street Ramlee Burger by me~

The place is so hot till I walk in, it feels like we are in an big oven and there are a lot of people smack in this small wooden place.

wah kiow (5)

One of the dish my friend love to order is the Asam Fish. Served hot, and the asam curry is just nice to eat along with rice, not too sour, yet the spiciness level did not overpower it.

wah kiow (6)

Here comes all our selection .. . . .

wah kiow (7)

I just love their ‘Fried Sui Kow’

wah kiow (8)

wah kiow (9)

The price is quite reasonable for such a portion that we took and I sure do not mind to revisit this place again.

It is advice sable to avoid coming here during weekday lunch time as it is sardine packed with people or if you do, do visit this place early.

One village have a history of criminal free for 10 years and suddenly terrible accidents happen. It involve the new cop that transfer from Seoul to lead the case. Later discover that the accidents were done by wild life creature, a wild boar which was mutated back in the world war 2 under certain test and was release to this mountain. In order to hunt this down, the village had hired a famous hunter Baek and met the legendary hunter Chun which his granddaughters was killed.

A time wasting show, which I thought it was a mutated alien. Just grab a DVD to watch.
