Well, as I remember during the last Planet of the Apes that acted by Mark Wahlberg do not have any connection to this movie but well I assume its another brand new continuation to bring back this movie to another level.

The Rise of Planet of the Ape is about a research company trying to develop a cure for people with Alzheimer to make them more intelligent back and instead of testing on human, the tested it on chimps and the epic of it was failed on stage two and the Dr. decided to test it on his dad. Results proven right for the first few years then deteriorate badly after that because of human anti body and chimps have another types of antibody. Then they decided to make it more strong doze as where the smart chimps proven work had gather become tai lou and attack humans that on the way as they are back to the forest

At the end of the movie, there is a another short trailer and it seems no connection to it but I guess there will be part 2 of this movie.

Not a bad movie after all.. . .

– The movie rated by me is by my own personal preference. Watch it at your own risk –

It has been long long time since I last went to Petaling Street for food and walk around the area. I think it was 3 years ago since I last visited the place.

Petaling Street or Chee Cheong Kai is know as Chinatown located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is infamous for pirated clothes and accessories along with bootleg DVDs and CDs. Petaling Street however does not exclusively offer pirated products. Haggling is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists.

The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such as Hokkien mee, ikan bakar (barbecued fish), asam laksa and curry noodles. Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian, Malay, and Bangladeshi traders. (source Wikipedia)

If you wish to stay around the area, there are many budget hotel available too.

If you  love bargaining then this is one of the place you must visit with many things to see for.

One of the food stalls that used to be very famous was this ‘Ikan Bakar’ that is located in front bank. The last time I dine here was about 6 years ago that it was so famous that we have to order first as usually need to wait for around 1 hour and we stroll around the place to see any nice thing to hunt. .

Now the order came less than 5 minutes and the place was not as pack as before.

BBQ under this hot stove pit.

chinatown (8)

I ordered the ‘Sting Ray, Lala, Squid and Prawns’ RM16 for small. The taste was not as good compare to last time, as it was very spicy (at least I need 4 glass of water to cool it off) and this round, the bottom was burn, and the whole spicy dish is filled a bit with that flavour and the sambal taste is not as nice as it used to be.

chinatown (9)

When I always come to this area, one of the drink that I will not miss and it is always pack with people is this ‘Air Mata Kucing’ RM1.80 per cup. It is sweet, refreshing and filled with longan at the base of it. A recommended drink if you do go there.

Another one of the street food that to eat is this stall, Seng Kee (click here)

After finishing Lam Mee, so my friend brought me to second destination which she said very nice place to hang out and cakes which is just behind that area. Then okay loh~ When I reached that shop I was pretty amaze that how could I not know such a place in uptown but when I saw the name, I thought it is quite familiar. Could not remember was send a link from my friend or from Sunday market in The Curve.

On the outside was rather impress on how they design it as a cafe. Sure a very nice place to chill.

Upon entering into the shop I directly in love with the concept.

From left here are some people selling their clothes on there which is pretty nice also. Although the places to sit is not much but a very nice place to get together.

This is a cute rack behind the counter. A display of all kinds of cakes eatery. It is something like when you get to read or seen in the picture of a 3 years old kids story book.
The que never stop. When I reach there. I am not really a big fan of cupcakes but then it seems lately since last year I would say, has become a hit thing among people for birthday celebration and some certain special occasion.

Besides cakes, of course you can order your latte, hot chocolate and drinks which you could find similar to Bucks or Bean.

Here are the selection of the cakes which is the ‘Mini Cakes’ 4 pieces for RM5. Mini means reallllll mini which you stuff it in your mouth still there are empty places for you to stuff others.

They have wide range of flavour to choose from. By the way it looks, it is tempting like you are going to get every piece of it.

The cookie thing is ‘Oreo’ which they said is one of their signature.
More to stuff in your mouth.
Besides that, they do sell some really fancy stuff also. Kids thing.
And of course the box is just so nice. Could not help staring on it. It just reflect back on their cafe concept.
We did grab one of the signature. ‘Oreo’ RM 4 for this small piece. Which I think it is kinda expensive and I have no idea why is Cupcakes so expensive.Maybe it is a trend I think.
Never fancy of it because I find that the icing on top of it is very sweet but then I cannot deny on this thing as it has the oreo flavour and the best thing is the base cake. I just hantam the whole thing in my mouth and wanted the second piece. But then I just grab 1 only to try.
Will be back again~

It has been a while that I wanted to post this and after watching Confession of Shopaholic and I decided to do so.

This are a few things which I really hate or damm piss me off! Not to all people but just that to those who fall into this category.

1) When you drive and you were in the hurry, and in EXPRESS lane is for those who wanted to go Expressssss…but some how god has created some bloody idiot to do that which is they drive on the express lane with the speed of 60-80km/h and you highlight them they are still just the same, a person who talk on the phone while driving slow on the express lane, and the most annoyed me was those ppl who own luxury cars like Merc,BMW,Lexus just think that the lane BELONGS to them. HEll to you guys~ (just happen on the road just now) The worst case that I saw yesterday was a kancil drinving in express lane with the son around 2-3 years old standing on behind passenger seat with proper caring and drive on express lane for the speed of 60km/h. WTF with the kids jumping around here and there. What a people. Because of this idotic people, accident might happen. Please lah!~ be more considerate. driving slow please move in.!!!

2) Hate ppl tat being late especially Malaysian’s. It has been a damm bad habit among all my friends. Never on time yet being late for another hour. Saying coming out from the house yet can still listen to the water dripping sound or your room mp3 in a very soft mode as the background. For girls, you are being advantage but please just do not practise the habits. I always expect ppl to be punctual yet guys are acceptable of 10-15 mins late. As being for gurls 30-45 mins is acceptable once in a while. I am a very patient guy but when comes to this, it is a challenge for me.

3) Hate those middle age guys especially from 32-50 years old like my DAMM bloody ex company GM. Know how to talk but do not know how to act. In that kind of situation I just believe that anyone could just replace him even you as the person who is reading this now! Which I claim his as do not have such a big butt, please la do not sit on such a big chair. CRAP!!!
Look down on those guys which always proclaim that we are losers when working, do not have future, yet talk about how good you are when have a soft chat with you and at the back criticize how bad you are. 1. Chui Sui Lou. 2)Two face. What a manager or what a GM. What a politic!

4) Hate guys that never keep their promise as what they meant or deliver. As a guy, I do think that it is a sad case as they are such a alienated creature

– They can just promise you to deliver this task and that task and in the end its F.O.S (full of SHIT). Which end up you have to clean their shit mess during work or any other kind of situation when you encounter.

– Guys that are in relationship always never fufill what they have promise to their the other
half. Saying things that never meant in the heart. Like you can go and mix with your friends with a smiley face yet in the heart keep cursing and being uneasy. WTF! You have agreed
upon on it and guys, please keep your promise. It is bad to hurt your the other half. Again, never keep a promise is like promise a kid to buy something thing and they are filled with hope and never fulfill it.(This was my mistake in my past relationship -I have grown and accepted my mistake and will try to improve it in my upcoming relationship if there is 1)

5) Hate guys being so emotional especially guys with career around 30-50. Please grow up or change sex. You are a man yet you being like a women. Please change to be ah kua or go to Thailand to change it permanently. Especially my ex GM. (seriously) and some guys around me. Damm….I just do not know what to say to you guys. It is okay like once in a while but so often it till like you are just a like a women in a man’s body. For gurls, no comment, created like that since from the beginning. Not all are like to that extreme.

If god could make those changes to a perfect one, I think it can be just very peacefull or more comfortable to be with around them but then again they are there just to make our day more wonderfull(indirect meaning)!~ *grin

A suprise given by very very bestie, Siew Li and Yeong Yong. It was really a surprise as we had organise a BBQ by the poolside on that day. Then as I was sitting inside their house watching don know chinese version of the American Idol as was talking with Annie as I asked her alot about the contestants and the rules of how the contestant go through the rounds and to my surprise Siew Li walked out holding the cake and singing birthday songs to me. I was so shocked, as I would not expect that they will do that. It was also pre celebrate as after this they will be going back to Penang for a few days.

A very nice cake they got for me

This is a Lemon Cheeze Cake. By Bread Story if not misaken. The cheeze is quite nice, not too salty yet have lemon taste in there, just mild, not too strong. With sweet strawberries.

Cheng cheng cheng, come come, me a year older liau…**** time really flies, Think back of last year how we celebrated and how we have grown… Geliness of how the year pass.

This is my bestie Siew Li and Yeong, sorry, cant be in here cuz she is the 1 helping me to take the picture. Two of you guys had been helping me alot, and cannot be denied that you guys are the closest friend that I had. Well, think back , we had know each other for 3 years already and it feels more like 20 years we have known. With you guys around, it is always so happening and of course learning and doing things together that makes us so close. I must thank both of you for part of what I am today.

Making a wish, namo namo namo.
1.Of course everyone stay happy & healthy always
2.Of course everyone achieve in what they had dream and wish for.
3. Of course it is SECRET!!!!!

Preparing to savor the cakes. Celaka Annie is already eating it before me but today I learned another culture which is the cakes must be give to the 1 which are more senior. Part of it that the younger people can respect them in the future. As I always thought that the birthday guy/gurl have to eat first before everyone can eat. Annie, so you are the first as you are the eldest. Lol~
Seriously, I got another surprise from them. A gift!!!! I never had such a big gift from them. RAOUL gift. Thank youuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~
This is what is in there. A mini cooper classic cuff link as they know my dream car is to get a Mini Cooper. So this is what they got for me.
A very nice pair of caff ling. Appreciate that, as I know it is very hard to find.
Thank you and many many thank you~!~!~!~

This was my tradition to pray here every year during Chinese New Year to wish for a smooth and better year ahead. I wasnt being superstitious but old people teach. Just follow. Wanted to post this up because I am proud of this temple, as this Kuan Yin statue was fully funded by citizens and tourist who visit here. It took about near 10 years to build this whole thing up as it was slowly funded years by years. This year I have donated a titles of roof plate which is RM30 the smllest. You can write your name, make your pray wishes and your name will be up there forever as they will put a layer waterproof syelek to have your name up there as long as possible. As what a quote we learn when we are young ‘simpan sikitsikit, lama-lama jadi bukit‘ .
It first started to build the statue, and was there for very long time to build the pillar as not enough fund until 3 years ago. Till today it was near completion as was told by the Auntie, it would be complete by mid of this year. Really looking forward for this statue as the roof was the final piece of whole project. To covered the ‘Kuan Yin’ from sun and rain.
When it completed, it would be the South East Asia biggest Guan Yin statue. It has already attract tourist from near and far every year. As this whole temple was light up during at night during Chinese New year. It was sure jam like crazy to go up visiting at night. Be sure you go up at 7pm to avoid the jam.

The area definitely have the feel of like those in Taiwan, China or Hong Kong.

This is the lantern as what they said that you are not in the luck for the year or the light around you is dim, write your name and hang it here, will make your light brighter for smooth sailing for the year ahead. As different zodiac has different luck in the year.
I see some of the tourist put or stick their coins in this small little fountain and make a wish.
This is the scenery of the temple from the mid of the mountain. Whereby the Guan Yin statue looking at. As what they said part of the god to take care of the island as what the auntie told me.

It overlook the whole area of Ayer Itam and Paya Terubong
