Burger joints are popping out every where, and its a trend. Well, lets go something classic in street style that I recently I was introduce a homemade street burger patty that run by Chinese couple. I have read Jacksons Burger is homemade by the uncle himself quite a while back and only remember bout it when Ken bring me over to dine at this stall.

jackson (1)

Its not too hard to find them as I have read some blog that they always move around. Well, I have been here a few times and its still in the same location. Their burger price is definately cheap.

jackson (2)

They do not have a proper dining in around the premises as they run the burger stall in a little truck and we can take their plastic chairs to sit there and dine. They sell soft drinks too.

jackson (3)

What is interesting is that they do have their special homemade CRAB patty that Ken ask me to try. Of course I do a mix then, beef and crab.

jackson (4)

Of course my burger need to have added egg and cheese. If not it would not be a perfect one for me.

Then my burger is ready, it smells very good with the fluffy bread being well pan fried that I can even smell the majerine of it.

jackson (9)

Smack in betteen the bread and all the ingredients, here comes the Chinese version of burger that is pretty similiar to another famous stall in Penang, Hill Side. The patty are grill to little cruncy for my Crab patty and beef are just perfect. For afternoon lunch, its a good satisfying one. For Chinese to come out such burger, they are consider good. Surely cannot be compare with Ramlee burger as its slightly different style

I remember quite long ago when I first start reading blog, this Sarawak laksa known as one of the best in KL that was blog by many bloggers on the quality of the food that similar to be compare to their origins. Little did I remember or I have nearly forgot about this place existence till my friend bring me here to satisfy on their cravings

nam chun (1)

Kedai Makanan Nam Chun  is a typical coffee shop where you can find in most of housing neighbourhood that house many types of hawker stall but this particular ones house 2 special stalls that have attracted many East Malaysian patrons to be hunting their favourite food which is famous for Sarawak Laksa and Kuching Kolok Mee.

nam chun (2)

Some where along those lines with a few reviews that I read, apparently this is one of the best but with slight inconsistency of quality      ( in other blogger review)

nam chun (3)

Dining in here could be hot and  you would just want to spend a quick 15 to 20 minutes.

nam chun (4)

Here is my bowl of Sarawak Laksa. I have never tried before laksa from the east and this would be  first experience. 2 prawns sitting on top of the noodle nicely decorated to make it colourful for my picture. Slightly thick soup base with a bit sourish, a bit strong taste of coconut milk, spread with some egg slices and  coriander leaves with a bowl cost RM5.00. One of the most unique thing is the special type of vermicelli that they are using, thicker then normal mee hoon.

According to my friend, today’s quality was so so compare to other time that they have had.

nam chun (5)

Kolok Mee, is another type of East Malaysia food that is top with many slices of Char Siew, some fish ball and blend in taste. IT taste normal for me besides that, apologize that the noodle had been stir as she is too hungry and makan first.

nam chun (6)

This is not East Malaysia food already as I was sitting there looking at old uncle cooking, what makes me order that he have a special pot of soup base that added on to cook along and I thought that must be his own soup base that had boil for long time to cook along. Not only that, he also have another side smaller pot that added on alot of mince meat after he had done the instant cooking.

This would have been a good perfect bowl of Instant Pork Noodle Soup if the mince meat wasnt that salty. The uncle is very generous with its ingredient and a huge bowl like that cost RM6.

nam chun (7)

Right after my meal, I was looking something to much some more then discover this little tricycle and went check it out. Its a motor that filled with home made nyonya kuih~

nam chun (8)

When I saw the selection I drool as the texture and quality that this little stall have to offer. By the look and colour texture had attracted me already.

nam chun (9)

I bought nearly everything a piece each. Conclusion, I love it so much and I ta pau another RM10 bucks worth of Kuih. Highly Recommended if you love Nyonya Kuih. One of the best that I come across.

Food rating 7/10 ,  not bad lah, will come try again -Stamped-

If you are as passionate about food and travel as I am, then you might also be considering setting up your own food and travel blog. Blogging about food whilst you enjoy your travelling adventures can be a lot of fun, but it can be hard work too. With this in mind, here are a few tips on how you can make your food or travel blog the best that it can be.

One of the most important rules when it comes to blogging is to be able to post regularly. If you usually stop at internet cafés to check your emails, then you may find it easy to take time to update your blog too. However, if you usually wait until you arrive back home in order to upload your photos, then you might need to adjust your routine slightly. There are several advantages to updating your food and travel blog whilst you are still away from home. Firstly, you will better be able to remember every detail of all the delicious foods which you have eaten during your trip! Also, if you happen to lose your camera or your notes during the course of your trip, then you will already have many of your memories saved online. Most importantly, regular blog posts are one of the best ways to keep an audience interested and to build up a regular readership.

Another thing which is key for both food and travel bloggers is including great images within you blog posts. Amazing photographs are useful to help really explain your experiences to those reading your blog posts. They are also more likely to catch the eye of visitors than a page full of text – no matter how well-written it might be. If you are serious about travel and food blogging, then it can be advisable to invest in a camera which will allow you to capture good quality images wherever you go.

There are one product that I blog on last week on technology how it made simple for all of us. One of a product by Western Digital that I blog last week about Digital Cloud Storage (click here) is certainly something new to me.

When I read on the details, it got me curious how this whole thing work. As last weekend, we get to meet the sales rep as he further shower us more info on the product itself.

wd (7)

Sales rep from WD is very friendly as he all our questions that we bombard to him based on our curiosity that most of us had.

wd (9)

Further explain on the details on how user friendly of this installer and easy to navigate around. Compatible with many devices that are in the market now.

wd (8)

For gadget freak i-PAds or android you can dowload those app to be used any where anytime in this world. I am totally impress with the streaming of the movie while it was store in WD headquaters in PJ while we are staring at this.

pictures credit to Seraphsam.com

We are totally impress at it. As storage its always been an issue for most of us that filled with many devices especially on hardisk. After staring at it, I know that it is one of a easy device to be connected any where at anytime, that we can even retreive any files in this drive that sitting at our home while we are at another side of the globe. Only one important thing, that you are needed to be connected to the internet.

Since it can be downloaded or access just like that, we are worried will our data be access by strangers, and we were told that we can create a few admin along with multiple password. For instance I bought this hardisk and since 2 Tera is too much and share it with my brother, we can create 2 admin/ user, upload files into the hardisk and create multiple password, there fore my files could not be acces without password even though sitting in the same device.

The only way to retrieve the files/documents is that you need to key in all password that you have set yourself. IF you wish to share with your friends, simple, just give them all sets of password you have set or create another folder with a simple password, more like a public folder.

Now, we are getting more in dept of this product.

My Book Live comes in 2TB & 3TB follow by heavy weight The My Book Live Duo comes in 4TB & 6TB

For product like this, it doesnt come cheap by kicking off at My Book Live from RM499 and My Book Live Duo from RM999

wd (6)

Samual, Carmen and me are getting more curious about the product and found out that the product is pretty small. . .

wd (2)

On the left slim little tower is My Book Live and a bit more heavy weight is My Book Live Duo

wd (3)

What are the difference? My Book Life is more like a personal storage that you have to upload most of the files thru software that are provided for your convenience. Of course product are price on different level surely have its own advantages and lets see what’s so special about My Book Life Duo.

wd (4)

This is something that most user would go after as we worry about hardisk crash or device failure. For My Book Life Duo, you can still retrieve all info from the devices as you can just easily pull out the hardisk and extract.

wd (5)

Besides that, you can even expand your storage capacity easily just by replacing it. Not only that, for file transfer, it is much easier with this device as there is a USB port behind, whereby you can just plug your hardisk and direct transfer into it.

All I can say is, I am totally impress with the technology of this unit and I am aiming to get one personal storage for myself and convenience of it to be able to retrieve file any where anytime. Basically it act as like super huge Dropbox and its build on too. .

why not you pull yourself to these few IT stores to understand further and enjoy the outlet special discount.

Last time I remember I came accross a blog that there is a new mall opening and with huge open air concept area for F&B outlets by the beach side facing the sea and I could not remember what is that mall called already. Regreted didnt key it down and we ended up in this new mall Central Festival at Pattaya which is the Largest beachfront lifestyle mall Shopping Mall in Asia.

They are hot, thirsty and hungry . .

bkk day 3 (9)

this is the super star that makes us choose this stall that comes to Thai must not miss Pork Leg

bkk day 3 (10)

This is the most sinfull of all yet one of the best!!!

bkk day 3 (11)

we ordered one stripe of fried pork as I choose myself what part I wanted and its super crispy, the meat is soft and dip along with their own homemade sauce is superb! A MUST HAVE!

bkk day 3 (12)

Then followed by Pork leg, braised till meat is soft, pork skin near to melt in mouth and add in their own gravy to make it more moist.

bkk day 3 (13)

Tomyam seafood as we find that the different taste of Pattaya cooking style and Bangkok cooking style as Pattaya taste of soup heading  more sweet and sour not too spicy. .

bkk day 3 (15)

Tomyam pork definitely taste much better compare to the seafood one.

bkk day 3 (14)

Fried Omelet that is drench in oil yet very aromatic and we add on a bit chili sauce to perfected it. .It was indeed a satisfying meal . .

bkk day 3 (16)

One of the thing I realize is that this little desert stall is every where in Bangkok and also even in Pattaya, Ice Monster, that I often saw alot people queuing for it. As this round we nearly melt from the weather outside, we decided to try out by enjoying the mall air condition.

bkk day 3 (27)

Under customize section, you can get to choose the ice and toppings you want as we are lazy to choose we choose the one in the menu.

bkk day 3 (31)

Overall, we didnt really like the desert as find it a bit too sweet to our liking, very milky and the texture is more like Ice Kacang ice based top with some fruits and milk/ chocolate syrup.

As early on Friday morning, that one of my best friend suddenly ccalled me during my meeting and just laugh his ass of without saying anything, and keep laughing non stop till I ask him ‘OOIIII…what happen la? Ki siau ahhh (went crazy iziit) ???!!! Then only he cool down.. Bok, you are famous liau!!! saw you in a forum and soo many people commenting on you~ I stunned and I was like don play la (cuz he was know as a joker and prankster). Then if you don believe, I ask the other guy to tag you..I said okok..wait for your good news. . .

So when another friend tag me in FB then I got shock !! oi.. that’s me in the picture and why got number eh? ask to buy toto number ah? Then called back my friend and ask him what is the meaning of this and he told me its related to MCA. I got blurrr again. . .

Well, my dear friends, this is memang me in the picture and for the past 2 days, the picture had been circulated wide enough to reach my friends that as far from Aus, some called me up , some left me in FB msg with different kind of comment. . .:)

One thing I am impress is that, after the news got announce 2 days ago, and online media had manage to get one of my pic in the blog to created and edit, then they choose the pic that I so ngam ngam got take some pictures with them and put in my blog and one of them picture got from my blog (Tiger Crystal Beer Lauching – Click here) and edit as below:

Remark: I have got noting to do with all this, MCA thingy, just so happen to be a victim in the topic.

To make the thing short and I don know how to read mandarin, by my understanding so far is that, MCA youth is recruiting youth members into their parties and apparently, this 4 young girls are recruited with to show that, in the party got young and old mixture as part of gaining confidence back from the citizen. Well, many reason that MCA is trying to come up with many comments too.

I doubt that girl in both the columm are not the same or maybe my eyesight got problem, anyway, I have no idea.. as that is what being compared . . .
