GLENMORANGIE’S Highlander Party

Another party is coming up with Glenmorangie next and their first of the year, comes with the “Unnecessarily Well Made” single malt whisky that left a trail of Orange in the local nightlife scene last year is back this March,  that will take place at The Hill in Damansara Heights on 28th March.

To celebrate the themes revolving around individualism and subcultures this 2013, with theme Scottish Highlander party, will be filled with kilts, bagpipes and the whole shebang. Not only that, as the party will feature models in body paint, tunes from the acclaimed Asquared of Deer Society, lots of quirky fun, and an unconventional night of partying.

Additionally, there are 12 Chinese Zodiac signs and for the year 2013, it is the Year of the Snake. The Snake carries the meaning of malevolence, cattiness and mystery. In certain places or culture, people believe that if they found a snake in their court, the family will be delighted. Also, people like to paste the paper-cut ‘Fu’ (wealth) character in an upside down position on their doors or windows, combined with a snake twisting around a rabbit as a popular pattern to indicate wealth.

Pork-Toberfest with Morganfield’s @ Pavilion

Entering to end of the year, means more event are coming up and entering the month of October to German’s it means Oktoberfest! One of a festival widely celebrate across the country and now it had spread across the world with its marvelous celebration that is one month long. Many F&B will take the opportunity to promote the festival along with special price on beers including Morganfield’s.

Love how they roast the Roasted Oriental Pork Belly, that the skin is crips that every bite with a crack sound. Soft moist meat that dip along with the mustard sauce is just perfect and of course pairs very well with my beer. @ RM 20.90

To end our dinner, Chocolate Lava cake is a must order in this outlet, that the cake is soft from the side and do not burn your tongue with instant one bite as the chocolate ooze out is pippin hot. It is prepare fresh and do allow them 10-15 minutes of serving time.

What Mosaic Are You? Win Prizes up to RM15,000

Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur celebrates the first year anniversary of Mosaic, an all-day dining restaurant with Leica Store Malaysia in a photo campaign entitled ‘What MOSAIC are you?’ starting from 10 September to 10 October 2012, this month-long campaign will be giving out prizes worth up to RM 15,000.

Collaborating with one of the best German engineered camera brand, Leica, the campaign encourages diners and the public to submit creatively-captured photos revolving around the theme Food for Celebration – images of food and/or celebrative moments with friends and loved ones.

During this campaign, each participant is allowed to submit up to a maximum of three (3) images at any time during the campaign. Participants are required to e-mail their submissions to [email protected]  with their full name and title of their photo(s). These photos will then be shortlisted by Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur and Leica Camera. Selected entries will be posted onto the hotel’s Facebook fanpage (www.facebook.com/MandarinOrientalKualaLumpur) in an album ‘A Mosaic of Food for Celebration’.

At the end of the campaign, the Top 10 winners will be announced in Facebook as well as notified via email. Prizes include a Leica V Lux 3 camera, accommodation stays in Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur and much more. Following the end of the campaign, a collage consisting of all selected photos will be tabulated and posted as the hotel’s Facebook fanpage cover photo.

St.Patrick @ Jarrod & Rawlins, Damansara

For the year 2012, one of the way to kick start or to enjoy great time by starting off with celebration of St.Particks day and the month-long GUINNESS® St Patrick’s celebrations has gone full throttle with parties happening at Jarrod & Rawlins last week. All of us having great time and were treated to a myriad of fun games, exciting entertainment and side splitting comedy that had us laughing in stitches on a few sessions!

after a long week on work, here we are to enjoy the pre celebration and also best of all that one thing we shall not miss is the beer. . .

Fresh Guinness draft that is perfect to start off with. . .

some of us do get personalize mug cuz come in a group and those who pay of course got it, 1 Bucket of Gunnness or 4 pints of Stout will entitle you a personalize mug.

Some of the pretty girls in charge of different sections and these two are in charge of gaming. The trick is the most bottom cup with a big red tap sticker and just stack all the cups from bottom to top within 60 seconds till the red sticker cup appear back and win a prize.

I did not know that its chicken breast till one of them told me, as I thought it were capsicum. The chicken breast is juicy and moist suprisingly and perfect to dip along with the green mayo and some chili sauce.
