Be Creative with Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Samsung had done a massive campaign and the latest one is to test on your creativity. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 being introduce into the market not that long, many of my friends would want to get that as their present or wish to get. As this time, kicking off with 4 celebrity to give you a chance to test on your creativity whereby creativity is limit less. The more you are weird, the chances of winning is higher. Check it out what you are required to do.

Before that, lets see on how this whole thing works. Just log onto http://www.becreative.my/ and please be ensure that you have your computer or phone supported with flash. Let it load and there will be selection for you.

How to kick start is rather simple, as there will be 4 person standing infront waiting to be pick. Of course you can click on all 4 person to see what are the visuals that they are providing for you. Each celebrity or selected person comes with different frame.

I pick on famous Ernest that had painted magically my hometown with all the nice drawings that now had made it prime spots of photography.

In his task, you are given a empty frame and paint your creativity away or you can chose on Preset selection on the left, with 2 version, one is loaded with a cartoonic house and mountain or a portrait. I choose to pain my own stuff although I am bad in painting.

Here is my end result with my failure in painting.. kekeke . . Right after that then just click submit as you can either submit by logging in with your Facebook, Twitter or create ID with email.

The most creative person will be chosen by them and each category will walk away with different prizes. If you love dining then Razif is the person you should go for.. See what you like as the prize and draw/ paint away . . ..

Village Park Nasi Lemak @ Damansara Uptown

This place is totally new to me as Nicole told me she is gonna bring me to her favourite nasi lemak stall in Uptown I was like, “huh, there got famous Nasi Lemak one meh?” she said yes! just meet her there and I could not even remember there was one located along the stretch of HSBC. Have not met her in ages as she is busy travelling around and its a great to see her again. Village Park Nasi Lemak is one of a famous nasi lemak that gain huge popularity.

It is a place surely to impress and I was here at lunch time. Its chaotic in Uptown as to find a parking spot at this time is your worst Nightmare!!! The only choices is to double park and being risk of either being kena Saman or Tow away. Be sure that you are there to monitor your car. I have seen a group of people came out from a restaurant and looking for their car as I saw their car got tow away.

Its amazing to see how this shop got huge coverage on media and not only that. As behind the payment counter you can see some celebrity and even our PM, ex PM Tun Dr Mahatir and many others came here to dine before.

Well, parking is not only the thing you have to be concern at as inside the shop is also chaotic, as the queue on this rice counter had build to outside and customers are pouring in.

Look at the Ayam goreng is just so tempting.

and my friend told me this is one of a must have!

Prices are slightly a bit more expensive for a plate of nasi lemak cuz you are dining in a restaurant.

This is how full house it would be and many other people behind me are waiting too.

This is a portion that according to my friend their signature ‘Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng’ @ RM 8. Something simple yet delightful, as rice is fragrant with light santan taste, fried chicken is nice and I would love to have mine with the extra crispy left over from the fried wok. Sambal is not bad as I prefer it to be more spicy and I was told that it used to be spicy and due to general taste bud, they have tone it down.

Kangkung Belacan order extra for side dish.

If you start comparing, I would compare it in this way, as Village Park Nasi Lemak they are cheaper than any malls restaurant that have to offer and taste much better or one of the best so far. If you compare with the makcik pakcik little stall on the road side, cant be comparable as those are street food category and of course their price is much cheaper and you can find a few stalls that taste better than them.

As this place is not that far from my place, I find that the price and quality is pretty decent. Been returning for couple of times already. 🙂

Holiday gateway to Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa @ Johor

What did you do during last week of Malaysia Day? I guess some of you will have plans as its a bit long weekend for us. As for me, me and my friends heading wayyy south to Johor for holiday which by far the furthest I have travel down south is only Melaka. Pulai Desaru Beach Resort & Spa All of us work hard, just that once a while, we need to take a break, to cool us down, chill on more relaxing area then head back fresh, and the last round I took myself off was heading to Pulau Pangkor for a short stay. One of the reason that we head down south for this stay is because, we have special arrangement with my friend that had called her up and every everthing for me. For being first time in this state, alot of things I want to discover and share out. When she send me the itinerary, I got excited that it is seriously fill with lots of visits and food to visit.

Well, after 3 n half hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, we had reach Pulai Desaru, whereby its a located on the east side of Johor that takes another 35-45 minutes drive from the city..

Pulai Desaru Beach had its new offering to public with 200 newly refurbish rooms to provide all holiday travelers with an ultimate comfort and lifestyle. This resort also had attracted a number of celebrity to stay here and most of the their guest from Singapore, which is very nearby. With their new concept, the resort have design their rooms in a few types with season colour and lovers wing. Part of it is to make holiday travelers enjoy their stay and would want some changes in their room ambiance, they can do so.

The newly refurbish lobby are build in contemporary style to bring modern ambiance to travelers.

A simple bar at the lobby with 2 pool table and draft tab is available for you too. . .

One of the thing I like the most is this hotel lift. Feels like you are heading into some where cool.

After checking in, I head back to my room. Its very simple, spacious and comfy.

Best of all, I have one of the best view facing garden swimming pool view that smack near right in the middle and on the highest floor.

I like the toilet design which is just simple, and nice, bath tub is spacious too.

We do have welcome fruits in our room.

Then I went over to my friends room which they have a queen’s size bed and realize that, there are slight different compare to our room that the colour of the wall is different as this room is painted in orange, ours is painted in green and toilet design is also different. I only manage to catch up this 2 rooms.

For family that bring kids here, they do have 2 sections for your kids to play around, this ping pong area, and a video game console which is attach next to it, that allow your kids to glue to their seats and you can go for a comfort swim.

For younger kids, they do have this little indoor play ground for them to play around as its covered with glass panel.

Movie Review: Nasi Lemak 2.0 & Johnny English Reborn

This is another one of our local production that by the director name itself that makes no stranger to all of us, Namewee which had been trying hard to make a film since when he came back from Taiwan, and much effort after 2 years, he finally make his first movie Nasi Lemak 2.0 that feature some of our local celebrity with another main cast Karen Kong that got famous over Youtube singing and Dennis Lau our very local talented violinist, also along with malay celebrity.

A movie is about Chef Huang graduate in cooking school from China and is back to spread the cuisine around the area, his restaurant is not popular but himself is very popular among the neighborhood because he helped alot people. Then Karen Kong’s family having some issue and need to find a chef till found him and surprisingly her god mom nasi lemak is very famous along the street and Chef Huang hate it so much. After much of Chef Huang downfall, Adibah Noor show him the way how to cook one of the best nasi lemak and from there the adventure begins.

Its a funny movie to watch, and the best part of all, its a movie that truly reflect 1 Malaysia. Find that he certainly can improve more on his next movie. Just support our local productions.

Johnny English Reborn is another funny flick by Mr.Bean himself that he had failed from last mission and they got no choice to get him back and do watch the first part of it back to 2003.

This round he is back with more funny movie that you will laugh from begininig till the end, where he is out to become an agent again, to a mission and got frame by one of the agent then solve the mission.

So if you feel blue or down, so just buy a movie ticket, watch, enjoy and laugh

Remark: sit till the end of the movie, there are another short sequel which I have miss out. .

French Fashion Soiree @ Pavillion

The Kronenbourg 1664 recently held a week long French Fashion Soiree in Pavilion with many members of media, bloggers and celebrity were invited to this French affair.

All of us were treated with the latest clothing fashion showcase from Morgan de Toi, Celio and Theirry Mugler, while watching the show, we were given the exquisite taste of Kronenbourg 1664 beer to enjoy.

The center court of Pavilion were transform into Parisian street with Eiffel Tower stood stall behind as the background.

Let the fashion show begin . .

It was a great night to be there to see the latest collection and with many people dress impressively and there were also a winner of best dress as for ladies Stephanie Chua won it.

Definitely I am looking forward for more fashion shows. .

Last weekend on Saturday, that was my first ever event that I attend with so many local artist pouring in, definitely it is an eye opener to me, which I learn a lot on our local artist and celebrity, cannot deny that it was another great event organized by Celcom xPlay.
