Its been a while since I last eat my dim sum and I did crave for it recently just that did not manage to find friends to go along with me as when I wake it is already about brunch time and my friends already have different cravings at that time. Then a few friends invited me along to go makan makan with them and of course I would follow suit as they did mention that recently Celestial Court Chinese Restaurant, Sheraton Imperial KL is doing a promotion of ALL-You can eat Buffet price at RM88++ which is only available Sundays and public holidays, from 10am to 2.30pm by Chef Ken Liew.
I did came here once for their Chinese New Year dinner then now came back here again for their Dim Sum. Its quite a good range on what they are offering for that price..
To start off with the brunch, this is really a great soup as Double –boiled Chicken Soup with Chinese Herbs. Strong enough to my liking for a herbal soup base and its recommended to get one for yourself too.
Upon placement Deep-fried Bean Curd Roll with Cheese and Prawns on the table, we already can smell the freshly fried bean curd roll so aromatic and little did I know that its filled with Cheese as it as ordered by my friend. Fried to perfection that its crips enough, and filled with chopped fresh prawns and cheese enough to make the flavor balance and perfect.
Another great item not to be miss is this, Squid Ink Scallop Dumpling topped with Salmon Roe
Steamed “Siew Mai” with Chicken and Tobiko
When this dish is serve, I find it very ‘atas’ and does not look promising to me but this “Szechuan” Style Crab Meat Dumpling in Chilli Vinegar, surely do change my expectation that its served slightly chill and chunks of garlic and chili is not too spicy and aromatic vinegar end. Love it.
Crispy Shrimps Wanton served with Fruit Salad,
Shanghai Dumpling with Egg Strips and Spinach in Chicken Broth
Crispy Chicken Fillet served with Thai Sauce
Sesame Prawns served with Minced Nutmeg and Mayonnaise is another awesome dish to order. Well coated with mayo and nutmeg taste is very mild at the end of it and it balance of well to make it a new taste for my taste bud and prawns is huge.
Signature Roast Dick with Five Spice in Hong Kong Style
Stewed “Ee Fu” Noodle with Sliced Chicken and Shredded Mushrooms
I love their dessert section as its not a huge range but good enough to satisfy my closing meal ..
Chilled Mango Cream Puree with Pearl Sago, Steamed Custard Buns, Chilled Sea Coconut with Snow Fungus, Red Bean Soup with Lotus Seed, Gingko Nuts and Almond Cream and Glutinous Rice Balls with Black Sesame Filling, Chinese petits fours and other pastries.
Some of you might think why some of the dish there is no further comment on it, I guess I do not want to praise too much on the dish as their range of dim sum is beyond my expectation that all turns out to be good, as one of the main reason is that its a HALAL dim sum to come out with such fantastic dish in most of their item, I am truely impress and highly recommending this Dim Sum place if you are looking for aLL you can eat buffet range.
