Sometimes when we are out of idea of what to eat, we will hit on google to check what is best to eat in an area. Well, I have always been hanging out around Solaris KL area and here are my top 6 Korean restaurant to try in Solaris KL.

1. Sae Ma Eul

kbbq (3)

Till date, this is still one of my favourite Korean BBQ shop. When I first found this shop, the shop is patronize by alot of Koreans as you felt that you are dining in Korea. As for now, it had become of of a very famous shop in the area and have attracted variety of crowd over including outstations. Price wise, is still very decent as their quality of meat is quite consistant.

Others that I have try:
Chi Mac
Paniya – used to be good but had change owner
Omaya – only once and never go back

Solaris, there are many Korean restaurant around, and Chi Mac was the latest addition that I tried quite a while ago. They have been operating quite a while and I have notice that most of the time that when I walked pass by them, their shop is quite empty.

Not too sure how they survive but believe they sure do have their regulars especially on delivery.

Chi Mac (1)

Chi Mac is just located a few doors away from Starbucks Solaris KL. Since it was one of our friend’s birthday, we decided to host it here to try out the food.

Pineapple soju is one of their signature. It was good, as you can taste the freshness of pineapple in it. Set back it is only limited quantity available. We wanted to order another one, was told out of stock.

Chi Mac (7)

Menu is rather straight forward that they have fried chicken, street food and others.

Cheese Fried chicken seems to be the trend last year, so it is not too bad. Felt that Nanda Chicken House is better for this.

Chi Mac (13)

Fried Chicken is not too bad as the portion is quite generous. However for quality wise, my favourite shop is just around the corner – Chicken House.

Chi Mac (12)

This pork neck dish is really classic. Quite near to the one I had in the market in Seoul. Done to perfection that the skin is light and slight chewy, meat is not overcook and eat it with soju, is a perfect combination

Chi Mac (14)

Ommelete is not too bad.

overall food experience and quality is not too bad. To come back ? I guess I have other shop that I would prefer to go too. Certainly I believe that they do have their regular.
