Movie Review: John Carter, This Means War & the Devil Inside

Genre: Action/ Adventure/ Fantasy

I would say John Carter is another great fantasy movie, or another movie like Star Wars, that there is this guy that were so good in commanding an army and got devastated when lost wife and daughter in a fire blaze. Then his life direction had change where to hunt for gold mine. Half way thru, he found some what a person like god had a Mendelian that transported him to Mars.

There is where the whole adventure begins, with some creature like talking and some other character. I would say its a good movie and I have seen many good reviews encourage to watch in 3-D as I am considering to watch it in 3-D another round.

If you have a hectic week or stress week, looking forward to cheer you up, I guess this movie This Means War could cheer you up alot. A romance comedy flick that brings you alot of laughter on how 2 guys coincidentally going after a girl without them realizing.

the trick is may the best man win the girls heart.

Genre: Horror/ Thriller

Another movie flick that film using video recorder style. Pretty headache and something similiar like that Paranormal Activity style. AS this movie talk about body being posses.

In the end of the movie every one died. That’s all. Don bother watching and its pretty boring.

St.Patrick @ Jarrod & Rawlins, Damansara

For the year 2012, one of the way to kick start or to enjoy great time by starting off with celebration of St.Particks day and the month-long GUINNESS® St Patrick’s celebrations has gone full throttle with parties happening at Jarrod & Rawlins last week. All of us having great time and were treated to a myriad of fun games, exciting entertainment and side splitting comedy that had us laughing in stitches on a few sessions!

after a long week on work, here we are to enjoy the pre celebration and also best of all that one thing we shall not miss is the beer. . .

Fresh Guinness draft that is perfect to start off with. . .

some of us do get personalize mug cuz come in a group and those who pay of course got it, 1 Bucket of Gunnness or 4 pints of Stout will entitle you a personalize mug.

Some of the pretty girls in charge of different sections and these two are in charge of gaming. The trick is the most bottom cup with a big red tap sticker and just stack all the cups from bottom to top within 60 seconds till the red sticker cup appear back and win a prize.

Here are some of the signature dish for St.Patrick, everything is in green as its the official colour. .

I did not know that its chicken breast till one of them told me, as I thought it were capsicum. The chicken breast is juicy and moist suprisingly and perfect to dip along with the green mayo and some chili sauce.

This is how happy every one is when have a pint of Guinness on their hand and cheers to every one~

The event started with a bang with performers coming out cheerfully with music blend into it that make the atmosphere even better.

Apple of my Eye (那些年，我们一起追的女孩)

I was told that this is a movie based on thru movie, or more like a best selling novel in Taiwan, after this movie had hit the cinema, it had make it top chart in several country making me looking forward for this movie.

A movie that flash back all our high school memories, puppy love, how mischeif we were. . then after high school, where are we heading too .Some ppl have great memory flash back some no. .  It really depends what was your high school life is .. :D, mine was something similar to the movie . .

I would say one word.. A great movie as its just a very normal movie and recommended to watch as it bring back your memory . .I do not mind to watch again 2nd time . .

A movie on the war between the gods and the half human race that had long been gone and the rise of human race, was lead by another evil leader that try to posses the god’s secret weapon, one of the Bow to rule the human race. As to prevent the war to happen, the god change to human form and train one of the human to prevent it.

Not a bad movie after all, its  a movie that you like or you hate it . .

Movie Review: Nasi Lemak 2.0 & Johnny English Reborn

This is another one of our local production that by the director name itself that makes no stranger to all of us, Namewee which had been trying hard to make a film since when he came back from Taiwan, and much effort after 2 years, he finally make his first movie Nasi Lemak 2.0 that feature some of our local celebrity with another main cast Karen Kong that got famous over Youtube singing and Dennis Lau our very local talented violinist, also along with malay celebrity.

A movie is about Chef Huang graduate in cooking school from China and is back to spread the cuisine around the area, his restaurant is not popular but himself is very popular among the neighborhood because he helped alot people. Then Karen Kong’s family having some issue and need to find a chef till found him and surprisingly her god mom nasi lemak is very famous along the street and Chef Huang hate it so much. After much of Chef Huang downfall, Adibah Noor show him the way how to cook one of the best nasi lemak and from there the adventure begins.

Its a funny movie to watch, and the best part of all, its a movie that truly reflect 1 Malaysia. Find that he certainly can improve more on his next movie. Just support our local productions.

Johnny English Reborn is another funny flick by Mr.Bean himself that he had failed from last mission and they got no choice to get him back and do watch the first part of it back to 2003.

This round he is back with more funny movie that you will laugh from begininig till the end, where he is out to become an agent again, to a mission and got frame by one of the agent then solve the mission.

So if you feel blue or down, so just buy a movie ticket, watch, enjoy and laugh

Remark: sit till the end of the movie, there are another short sequel which I have miss out. .

Movie Review : Mr.Popper’s Penguins & Ladda Land (thai)

A new movie from Jim Carrey that when he was a kid, his father loves traveling to discover the world, and right before his father past away, as the last gift from him to Jim Carrey is this cute penguins, and he was chaotic when received it, as things got more touchy as he realise when this penguins lay eggs and see them hatch

Quite a funny movie to entertain abit for the week.. . Not a bad movie to watch tho . .

Movie Review for Burlesque, Sanctum (3-D) & No Strings Attach

For those who love musical movie like Moulin Rouge or Chicago as Burlesque is one of the latest movie with good dance coordination and singing in the movie that will amaze you .. .

The movie is about a young girl went into Los Angeles to look for better career in dancing where her passion is. . .till she walk into this club Burlesque she was stunned by their performance and wish to get into the group. With her hard work and determination she had made it the best in the club. . .

Quite a nice movie to watch if you enjoy musical and dancing movie ..

I heard quite a few feedback that this movie is actually good, Sanctum which is directed by the director who film Titanic and Avatar. . . his movie is certainly worth to watch . .until I watch this movie only realize that it is a true story . .

Movie about a group of people that is so keen in exploring places where no man had step before on our earth planet that makes themselves caves explorer and cave divers, that this team had discover the largest cave system on earth which makes it lease accessible. As when the tropical storm approach which the team had lost connection on the surface, without realizing that rain pour heavily and start drowing the cave with the rest of the people down there fighting for survival.

Filled with kan cheong’ness and to watch in 3-D had good effect. Nice movie to catch for the weekend.

i guess this movie need not to reveal much as the title had mention everything .. means more like a ‘friends with benefits’ which is happening everywhere around the world. . . that turn that their affair had turn to love. . .

if you feel bored or down, a good movie to watch as you will enjoy the jokes if you understand as me and my friend the only people laughing in the cinema most of the time . .
