Birch (12)

Their pastries looks pretty awesome too.

Try out the Avocado & Feta Toast @ RM 22 for something simple to start off. Chef homemade toast top with avocado spread and cheese. Nothing to shout out about this.

of course their Bake Burnt Cheese Cake @ RM 18 is to die for. Fluffy yet soft and moist enough to just melt in your mouth. The skin and is not to bitter from the burnt effect yet is just nice. Indeed one of the best burnt cheese cake in KL to make it into top 3 list of mine.

Many of them compare Lot 10 Burnt cheese cake vs Birch burnt cheese cake. Which will be your preference or which is your best burnt cheese cake place in KL?

Tika Taka (1)

Tiki Taka (1)

Tiki Taka (2)

Some cocktails to kick start before the mains.

Tiki Taka (8)

My personal favourite is Shoreditch. Love the well balance of gin and nice fragrant of cucumber and fresh thyme leaves.  as you drink without removing, you get to smell the freshness of thyme that immediately you will recognize the pairing flavour of cucumber and gin. Love it.

Tiki Taka (3)

Pintxos – Mini Pork Burger  that serve in a pink bun. Well, that’s their new discovery and to make it pink, chef infuse it with beetroot. All are prepare fresh from kitchen including the bun. The Pink brioche bun, grilled pork patty, strawberry peppercorn ketchup, kyuri, mozzarella, salsa@ RM11

Tiki Taka (4)

Pork Belly Mantou @ RM 8

A slight twist of flavour is pork is nicely done and caramelize, then add on with gula melaka chilli syrup, pickled starfruit, steamed mantou bun. I think pairing this with Shoreditch is pretty good.

Tiki Taka (5)

Tiki Taka (6)

Miso Scallop @ RM 28 Juicy queen scallops baked with miso mushroom cheese sauce, tabasco, ikura, parsley.

Tiki Taka (7)

I am quite picky when comes to my lo bak go, however their new discover that cook by the chef for XO Lo Bak Go is rather impressivePan fried radish cake with Chinese waxes pork sausage and shitake mushroom, drizzled with homemade XO sauce. For RM 25 might be on the high side.

Tiki Taka (9)
Another impressive mains in their new menu is Nasi Lemak Babi @ RM 23. Deep fried pork ribs, caramelized gula Melaka pork belly, fragrant pandan coconut rice, spicy sambal, anchovies, peanuts, pickled quail egg, crispy shallots and kyuri. Caramelise pork, fragrant rice and awesome sambal indeed is spot on.

Tiki Taka (10)

Ultimate Lobster Pizza RM42 Red pepper sauce, grilled tiger prawns, mini lobster, slipper lobster, ikura, mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, black olives, prawn oil, spring onion.

Tiki Taka (11)

Summer Baby @ RM 19 Caramelized pineapple in gula Melaka, handcrafted toasted coconut ice-cream, mango gel, rose sponge, hibiscus preserve, passion fruit sauce.

Tiki Taka (12)

In Tiki Taka, one of the pint you wont miss is their Connors Stout. Love it as it is so creamy and fragrant.

On weekdays, this area Damansara Heights is a bustling districts with alot of office tower around the area. However I recently discover a hidden gem in this area as this newly establish cafe Delirium which is another new concept by Antipodean, sits at Ground Floor of Menara Menulife.

Delirium (1)

Its a simple and bright cafe with a lot of direct lights from the high ceiling make this area looks huge and very comfortable.

Delirium (2)

Delirium (3)

Delirium (4)

Variety of biscuits range for you to choose from.

Delirium (5)

cakes do look interesting and also their scones. Made fresh daily by chef himself .

Delirium (6)

Delirium (7)

Delirium (8)

Love their plate design as it looks pretty cool. Flat White and Latte at RM 10 each, for our morning to start off with. Their coffee is rather interesting as quite robust in flavors upon first sip while its warm yet it is not acidic. After it sets down a while (after 5-10 minutes) the character change. Not so strong yet mild enough to my preference taste bud. Certainly one of the better coffee that I have recently.

Delirium (9)

Delirium (10)

In menu, this looks rather interesting as was thinking in healthy context. Rhubarb Granola with Mascarpone @ RM 16. Looks pretty when it is served, as for me rhubarb is just nice, as mix it with granola and milk, the whole bowl become slightly sticky and taste might be just too strong for me with its sour end.

Delirium (11)

Delirium (12)

Dill Potato with poached eggs, garlic yogurt and sago butter @ RM 18. In first glance, it does look oily to me as from the sea butter sauce do make it weird. However the taste is rather interesting from yogurt to potato and butter.

Delirium (13)

Bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon and capers @ RM  20. Price might be a bit expensive for this as I prefer my bagel to be slightly toast to slightly crips.

If you do come here, coffee here is a must and food is for you to explore.
