Last weekend, we were invited to this hidden pop up bar at The Row, KL with a key word, located Countryman. There is where you find your entrance and DCODE an experience with #CreateOwnDiscoverExperience. 1A Private Lounge is the latest initiative from experiential specialists DCODE. It is a pop up modern speakeasy cocktail lounge for next 5 weeks.
Upon entering the bar, you will be given this little Dcode card.
From the card, you get to exchange one drink from the vending machine ranging from 3 different colours:
- Red – Hennessy mixture
- Blue – Gin Mixture
- Green – Belvedere Vodka mixture.
For that night, I was keen to explore on gin. Then we proceed to our next counter to be a little mad food scientist. For each selection you chose, they have specific 5 mixture for you to choose and it is advisable infuse maximum of 3 flavours into the bottle.
I was advise to add in mint leaves, cucumber and green apple. Quite an interesting combination as those 3 flavours are still prominent. After I mix all, it does create the little taste confusion.
After we are done with our drink, we hit the bar for champagne and vodka. They have 2 levels where below is more chill where conversations flow to the smooth sounds laid down by the resident DJ.
