Constantly I have my run on weekend where streaming music from Sportify is a one of my main beat to get my running rhythm, along with my Nike Run GPS tracker to track on my distance. With this massive data, I do not have to control on my data spending.

Used to control how many Insta stories to post and share where my Instagram took the most of my data usage. Now, I can spam even more or like telling the whole stories live on my food journey.

It does not stop there where good news to me as a frequent travelers in neighboring countries, you are covered with International Roaming on selected country. So frequent travelers to Singapore, that always love to share about this famous Steamboat Hai Di Lao can do more about it as you have 5GB data roaming to play with or when you head over to Universal Studio, you can spam all your live feed in FB or Instagram.

The data roaming also available in another four countries besides Singapore is Thailand, Indonesia, Myammar and Brunei. I certainly do not have to worry about data if I do any Facebook Live when I am in Thailand and can even do more.

Besides that, I work on the go as at times when I am out from my office, I rely a lot on café wi-fi connection. With many café recently starting to collect data before hooking into their wifi, I have directly turn on my personal hotspot to hit onto the web. This also gives a slight advantage when there are moments when I need to download massive data or visuals when the connection of wifi of that café Is not fast enough. Youtube streaming is also very important to keep my pace of working where now, do not have to worry on the wifi availability or stability.

With this Crazy RM 110 plan that not only gives you unlimited weekend data also you will be left with 25GB data for the rest of the month. That is an average of 1.1GB data a day on weekday (with an average calculation by removing Weekend Sat and Sunday). At times, I am not a massive data user and this is where the slight advantage to me where The New Digi Postpaid plans is rewarding us with additional of 3GB internet data from the internet rollover of your unused internet data from the previous month. Now I can even share my data with my friends whenever they need.

It seems that Taiwanese  bubble milk tea seems like the latest trend to hit in Malaysian shores. First was Cha Time to boom in the market, then few months down the road, next brand that my friends talk about is this latest brand in the market Dong Cha which is also origins from Taiwan, also I realize that there are a few more brands opening up within this 2 months. . Gong Cha (貢茶) which origins from Kaohsiung in Taiwan since 2006 then start from 2009 they have bubble to Asians countries like Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and a few more. Hit to Malaysia few months ago

This is how Gong Cha outlet looks like in The Gardens, Mid valley which located at 1st floor if I am not mistaken it is located on 2nd floor on Paparich/Digi/Maxis that wing.

gong cha (3)

This on the wall would be their signature drink and its the same like all Taiwanese bubble milk tea, you get to choose your level of  sweetness level – no sugar, 30%, 50%, 70% and full sugar.

Seems like they are quite famous for their Signature Milk Tea and the ways to drink it:

  1. Milk moustache – without stirring, sip the freshly brewed tea from top layer of milk foam.
  2. Tea off – without stirring, slurp the tea from the bottom with a straw to savour the freshness and complexity of the tea.
  3. All in one – Stir both layers together and enjoy a perfect blend of milky froth and aromatic tea!

So I ordered and tried their signature drink which I am quite satisfied when I order in their another outlet in SS15.. Since I want to intro this to my friend we decided to try out this branch . .

I would say that I am just very disappointed with the drinks that they have in this branch compare to the one I tried in SS15 as the taste differ so much. My friend just had her Oo Long Tea  a few sips then she gave me the whole cup and I tried it, its like putting milk in plain water and stir it.. Then I throw it away. The Green Tea I had was quite disappointing as well . .

To me I find it weird that how can the quality differ from both branches? I guess that their worker did not train well to mix the whole ingredient well . .  Well well, I should give them another try on their Gardens outlet again . .

Besides that, some of my friends prefer Gong Cha over Cha Time. .  Depends on your preference oh~

About a year ago, Sunway Giza used to be quite a deserted area to be hang out with as I remembered for the very first time when I visited the place about a year ago, it was very dead where about 2-4 FnB outlets were operating in the area and now, the whole place is so happening. Coffee Chemistry Cafe

[updated – July 2014- no longer in operation]

That now house a lot of FnB and bars too besides simple grocery shopping, and now a lot people head to Sunway Giza for happy hour and friends meeting up. One of the place that I have been a lot of times that I just didn’t blog bout it till now, as all of you sure know a pub which is quite happening in the area Movida, which is one floor above them, hidden one very hidden gem, Coffee Chemistry,Cubic Plateforms that now known by many people for its good coffee, hang out place, for many friends and families

As when you opened the door, you will be a bit shock that HTC and Digi are in it too then smack this little cafe with them.

coffee chemistry (2)

Where alot people hang out here where I observed many of them are coffee lovers that just come by here to have a sip of coffee with friends and family while just enjoying their time.

coffee chemistry (3)

A mini kitchen that will blow your mind away with their very own recepi .. .

coffee chemistry (5)

I am not a big fan of coffee drinker as I always order something unique then this caught my attention with ‘Roasted Almond Cafe @ RM 9.50. I find that the almond taste is just there that the coffee is not too strong to overpower it instead it pair up very well, and I just love my cup of coffee.

One of my usual in a cafe to start off with is Mocha @ RM 6.90, with very nice coffee art, and the chocolate  makes the cup of coffee blends well, that is now one of my favourite. .

NED_8151_resize

Flat White that covers with a very thin froth that is just nice to sip for a Sunday afternoon.

NED_8153_resize

Many places are not able to served Iced Mocha the way I like and when I come across this icy drink, it was above my expectation that the milk is light, able to preserved the taste of coffee and chocolate taste in it with the ice cubes do not dilute it after quite some time, which is pretty impressive.

coffee chemistry (6)

Then I asked the boss what is best to start off with and recommended Homecook Mushroom Soup @ RM 9.90, when this bowl of soup was served, while I was taking this picture, I just snap quickly and put down my gear to try it out, as the arome of the creamy milk just so nice, yet one of a unique taste of mushroom soup that I come accross, its not thick, yet mild creamy, filled with lots of fine chopped onion and mushroom, that makes me finish this whole bowl by myself. – Recommended~

coffee chemistry (11)

For greens or healhty eating, they offer Salmon Caesar Salad @ RM 15.90

NED_8162_resize

and Chicken Caesar I find it taste better in terms of the chicken breast is well marinated and soft that goes along with this light meal.

coffee chemistry (7)

One of the dish that did suprise us all when he told us one of his best seller is Bacon Fried Rice that looks pretty dull plain and while put into our mouth, it was burst with aroma, with ‘wok hei’ with such a small kitchen, and it is very generous in ingredients that every mouth full is filled with bacon. Another dish to Go after!

coffee chemistry (8)

Those who felt that would want to eat something light, Salmon Wrap @ RM 8.90

NED_8156_resize

Another item that I quite like in their menu is Homemade Pizza (which I forgot this name of it), is very similiar to one of my favourite hawker pizza (Frankie’s Pizza) that made with home crust bread toast it then filled with lots of ingredient, cheeze just melted on top to make it a bit salty nice.

NED_8158_resize

Beef Herbs Speghatti in Spicy Cream Sauce, usual I go on extra spicy, then this round I decided to try the beef and in normal taste. Love the creamy base of it with fine chuncks of onion, that I would prefer it without the green papper taste of it.

coffee chemistry (9)

Al-Funghi Pasta @ RM 13.90

coffee chemistry (10)

Filled with lots of garlic slices, onion and mushroom.

I would say that this place surely do served very good coffee that can beat many outlets out there, as the coffee is not too strong that can suits many taste bud even not for coffee drinker like me and the after aroma of it is mild and stays in our palate for quite a while that I just like it. For strong coffee drinker, you might not like the mild taste of it, with the quality, I am sure you will enjoy a bit.
