Early Sunday morning and do not know where to head for breakfast. After take a drive around for 15 minutes then my friend come accross this place and saw, eh eh, try this stall, it was one of the stall that I used to eat during college times which is pretty famous. Then I agree since I have never tried this. Bridge Head Hokkien Mee & Loh Mee

loh Mee (1)

After Google up a few article only came across to know that this Hokkien Mee stall is actually quite authentic in taste as the recipe had pass down from previous generation. The family had started selling since 1963 by the Lau family and currently, its 2nd generation that  selling at the moment..

loh Mee (2)

The stall is located at a very obvious junction if you are taking the Jelutong Expressway exit towards Prangin Mall, its a pre-war building right at the corner of the traffic light that you can see people actually sitting there and eat.

loh Mee (3)

loh Mee (4)

It had been a while since I had my last bowl of Loh Mee, and to say that Penang Loh Mee and KL Loh Mee is pretty different as Penang version is black starchy gooey soup base they have. To make the taste even better you have to add in special garlic sauce that every loh mee stall created for themselves and this stall had make it quite strong in taste as you just add abit and some of the chili would be perfect.

loh Mee (6)

Next we order another bowl of Hokkien Mee to share and I add in Pork Ribs. Soup base is rich in flavour as you can taste it with pork bone and prawn heads they have cook for quite a while. A pretty decent bowl of breakfast to go after.

I still say, I prefer other stalls.  No harm to try this out .. 😉

Recently my friends are back on form as they had launch weekend buffet tim sum hunting again, and let me start off with second location first as the first restaurant that we went the promo was over. I ask a few of my friends comparing which hotel, they recommend I should try this restaurant first, without much hesitation I book this place immediately as their promotion just start from 1st of May.

The restaurant serve HALAL buffet tim sum for RM55++ with an award winning chef preparing the whole range of tim sum that in house chef was trained in by professional chef in Hong Kong which we know this country deliver great tim sum.

In the menu had variety of 50 items to select from and some of the name in the menu definately eye catching.

‘Cold Marinated Mexico Soy Clam with Szechuan paste’

Served in cold and some of them find it spicy and I find the taste very interesting. cold, spicy yet sour.

prince hotel (10)

‘Pan Fried Vegetarian Bean Curd Sheets Pan Cakes’

Pan Fried till very aromatic, just the way I like it as usually I consume alot of this during 9th God festival.

prince hotel (18)

‘Hot and Sour Szechuan Soup’ – – ‘Congee with Scallop’ – – ‘Tai Zi Heen Shark Fin Soup (limit to one per serving guest)’

I just go through a few blogs to find the address for this and didn’t know that this shop is actually a hit in the town with the taste and especially the chili flakes. This place was introduce by my friends when we were hunting for our company dinner dress.

Kin Kin (2)

Their signature which is, this very chili flakes that a lot of people just add on many table spoonful of it onto their bowl but I felt that there is nothing fancy on this flakes or I would say there are actually a few shops are better than this.

Kin Kin (3)

‘Mix of Pork and Fish Ball’, loves the springy feel of both flavor as what I preferred. Pork ball is abit solid yet gives me the compact bite of it and not a big fan of fish balls yet it does gives the soft springy feel.

Kin Kin (4)

‘Soup Pan Mee’ taste not bad with the taste of anchovies that gives a bit of salty inside the clear soup yet flour taste comes from pan mee, added on with mince meat added on the flavor.

Kin Kin (5)

If you do not like soup base then you should try their ‘Dry Pan Mee’ which I prefer more than the soup base. I have mine added on with the semi boil egg.

Kin Kin (6)

I did like what other people did just by adding on the chili flakes, its just not bad after all to make the taste slightly better.

With the price tag around RM5-RM8 I would say its not a expensive place to eat in with their prompt service there is actually nothing to complain about.

It was Sunday and do not know what to eat..then go google up. Found out this place then remember that my friends from Pg brought me there years back. They said that one of the very nice Lam Mee to dine there. Instantly go and kidnap my friend to dine with me.

After agak agak trying hard to remember where is it located and manage to find out at last.

The restaurant does not offer much variety but then sufficient to satisfy you but the crowd is still so pack. Full house from the time we sat till we left.

Looking nearby and found out that at alot ppl ordering the ‘Yong Tau Fu I only ordered, Fried Sui Kow, Fish balls and Fu Chuk. It was so so only. Cost RM0.80 per piece.

This is their famous ‘Lam Mee as previously mention by my friend that it was very nice. Still think that last time its much better compare to now.RM4.50 for this.

This is the ‘Dry Mee which taste not so good. More like mee kicap. Rather disappointing on this one as my friend did not finish the meal also. RM4.50 for this.
