Puma Launches “Evolution Suede” #forthestreet @ Whitebox, Publika

Recently Puma launches its Suede 45th year with 8 special personalities team up to unleash the Future of Suede 2058 at Black Box Publika. At that evening, we get to so many public figure like Ben from Fly FM, Jin from JinnyboyTV, dance groups Elecoldxhot & Kartoon Network, and TV host, Rina Omar and most of them are Puma Ambassador.

I love shoes and as I seen the display on their latest collection of their Suede I am loving it. We were early that night and manage to take a few shots first before entering into main hall..

 AS  mention, Puma team up with 8 individuals to come out different subcultures to design their interpretation of the 2059 Suede.
1) Juice duo, Miranda Yeoh & Kevin Yeoh that featuring the design with CYMK pallete
2) Redd Bullets photographer duo, Julian Oh & Carolyn Chon blending their idea with soft texture, combination of fabrics and use prints as the finishing.
3) Newba, a grafitti writer & Twilight Action Girl, Hip hop artist more towards graffiti style
4) Andrew T Crum, Artist, & Sueann Chong, fashion director of    Hanger magazine by creating colourful design  that emphasize on the global issue ” carbon footprint”

The main highlight of the party was the four eight-feet 2058 Future Suede that were envisioned and designed by eight individuals from different subcultures. After an evolution of dance routine by Elecoldxhot, Andrew T Crum, Sueann Chong, Miranda Yeoh, Twilight Action Girl, and Newba, the eight-feet 2058 Future Suede designers, were called upon to share the inspiration behind their designs.

These 4 special design giant Suede will be exhibited at Publika from 28th Feb to 11th March.

Not only that, as that night, we have ‘Evolution of Suede Instagram Contest’ going on which is actually launch to public to post pictures of their personal collection of Suede or check out their iconic props available in PUMA outlets and snap it. Follow by hastag #forthestreet #my then tag @Puma as the most creative picture will walk away with a pair of new Suede. Looking at the new cool pair of shoe, all of us were so motivated and busy taking pictures and insta at that night. I submitted two pictures. . as above picture 1.

TuneTalk: Incubus Live in KL, July 22nd

One of the rock bands that my friends are super crazy over is Incubus, even his email address is related to the band. I mean how crazy is it? [email protected] . Incubus Live One of the reasons that he picked up guitar lessons is because of them too! With their style and music, he felt that he could be just like them. That is how I come to know of Incubus.

Guess what! This Super Rock Star band will be coming to Malaysia thanks to the dear Tune Talk and they will be performing at Stadium Negara LIVE on 23rd of July. . . . . We lucky Malaysians will be the first in the world that they will be performing with their new album, ‘If not now, When?’. So get ready to rock your socks off to this Rock band of Brandon Body n his team.

Tickets will be available at the price of RM203 (normal price), or RM183 if you are a Tune Talk subscriber tickets can be purchased through www.airasiaredtix.com.   Besides that, just tune in to your favorite radio station Fly Fm and Hot FM, you might stand a chance to win VIP (invited to pre-cocktail party and enter the venue earlier), rock star or normal tickets.

That’s not all, paging to all local bands out in Malaysia!!!

You will get a chance to perform at Incubus’ opening act by joining a contest called ‘Opened 4 Incubus’ that is open to all – with 3 stages to go thru. You can just register via Facebook at Tune’s Talk Facebook fan’s page by liking it. Now with a simple VIDEO submission as an entry, you can start submitting from 13th June – 24th June. Each Band are ONLY be allowed to submit ONCE!

Then you can ask your friends, or friends friend or friends friends friend to vote for you from 4-10th July whereby all of them can vote thru unlimited via SMS with a cost of RM0.20. However, the Facebook site will only be allowing ONE vote per user. The shortlisted Top 5 will battle out each other, and the famed Incubus will be the final panel of judges to decide who is the Winner that will be performing for their opening act! Winners will be announced by Incubus themselves at a press conference and just get ready to be proud of your band when it is announce and amaze rock fans at the opening debut.

I cant wait to see who is the winner of this battle out contest as there are so many good local bands out there and this is the time for all of you to shine. Ne-Yo Live Concert at Sunway Surf Beach

Kick off Year 2010 a love guru, artist, and famous artist cum song writer in a concert. When I was checking my email then got an email from Florence that she have got the tickets and please come collect. Nothing much I can say, but Florence…A Big big Thannkkkkk youuuuuuu from all of us..

I reach in Sunway kinda early while waiting for the rest and after meet up with the rest and saw the pricing of the ticket, my eyes widen with my jaw nearly dropping off by seeing the value of the ticket~

It’s a VVIP ticket worth RM1500. Wooohooo, this would be the very first time attending a concert under this category. With no idea of how it feels and look like, just cant wait to go down to the arena, Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach.

I was at MOS entrance then Jon and Ah Keh was at another entrance, and walk there to find them…So pack with people lining up to go into the concert and then only realize it’s the wrong entrance for us. #$!@#$! To both of them.

Our VVIP ticket, then mana tau after camwhore kena blok by the security that no camera was allow and it was stupid me to take pic infront of the security. Then not satisfied as I saw alot of people bring in camera. Then I walk to the back and change people taking my bag and manage to sneak in..wahhahaha.. thanks to clever Jon with his trick~

At that moment, the crowd area was pretty dead, sardine pack but the atmosphere is not there yet until this 2 Emmcee for the night from Fly.fm came out, to stir up a bit.

After the local performance, and the stage was darken abit and the crowd start to go crazy and the DJ on the stage teasing with some music abit and with the emcee bringing the crowd together, chanting the name of Ne-Yo… Ne-yooo.. Then all the band members filling up the stage and suddenly saw a dark shadow to the mic area and the crowd went crazy with his very first song of the night… ‘Because of You’ that is quite well known to most of us. The girls around my area started to get craze, standing up swaying, singing and dancing…

Even that they stop some people from sneaking camera in, but can you imagine how many camera’s are there?

Few songs after that, comes with the special appearance of Jadyn Maria, which I do not really know who she is, but her songs is not bad. After a few songs of solo singing then…

Then continue with the rest of his hit songs, ‘Sexy Love’, ‘So Sick’, ‘Independant Woman’, ‘Closer’, ‘Mad’, ‘Never Knew I Needed’ ,‘Fade into the Background’, ‘Lie to Me’, ‘Part of the List’.

Crowd singing, dancing all night long is what I am expecting for the night. Even some of the girls from the other VIP area pull their chairs to the middle area to sit and dance.

Besides that, some talking and piece of advice of relationship to all the crowd which I make him to the love guru side. A great flow of the night of how he link it and sing with his songs.

The night did not just end like that as he paid tribute to Micheal Jackson by dancing his hit song, ‘Beat It’ and the crowd went crazy. He just bring the crowd to ecstasy just like that~

He certainly said that, this would not be his first and last concert in Malaysia, he certainly is coming back for more. Thank you to all of you.

Certainly it was a good concert and it was a great opportunity too attend such a great 1..
