The Amazing Spider-Man

Genre: Action/ Fantasy/ Thriller

One thing I do not understand when I saw this movie preview is how come the remake the whole sequence of The Amazing Spider-Man and its kinda mix review that I have heard and read. Some say its pretty good and impressive and some said its don event worth to watch as the story line is a bit mix up.

Even before the movie was screen, I did watch a preview of at least 5-7 minutes long one of the scene in it for its publicity. . I did not put high expectation on it.Well, I decided to go watch it myself as I expected, the movie and story line is just so so as I find that both the main led actor and actress wasnt attractive in acting or maybe I love the previous series of Spider Man that acted by Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. The new version of spider man is more towards tech world with high tech equipment and gadgets. One thing I like is the cool Oakley type glass it has on the costume. . 😀

For a movie of 136 minutes, I find that the movie is so so, and again some of my friends love this movie alot and much better than the previous ones. To me, I still love the previous series. 😀

Movie Review: Take Me Home Tonight, Wu Xia & Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Genre: Comedy/ Drama Harry Potter

If you miss your high school life, this movie is definately going to bring back some sweet memory for you on how we were like during that time. . Latest flick by Anna Faris that the whole scene was flim in the 80’s style which is very funny in the show..

The movie is about a guy trying to date his high school crush and do not dare to ask until met her again in a reunion party. Things get more funny when they stole a car, take ‘Coke’, date the crush and went to strangers place. .

Not a bad movie I find, as its definately worth watching during Movie Day . .:D

Toast ‘n’ Toast @ Balakong

After my Melacca food hunt trip few months back, me and my friends really wish that this shop actually open in KL but never did I thought I found one here at Balakong which I was on the way for a food review around the area and made wrong turn and found it.

Went to try out as we really miss the food from this shop when at Melacca and we thought that it is not the same or another copy cat but it was exactly the same and in their menu did not state another branch address.

We were very hungry and start off with ‘Set-D, Fried Bee Hoon, Pudding and a drink (if not mistaken)’. The taste were rather plain and dissapointing. RM 9

Of course with my favourite ‘Cinamon Toast’ but very light in taste which is almost like roti bakar kosong. RM1.80

‘Otak-Otak Toast’ which is so little in ingrediant and not much to say about it. RM2.80

‘Crunchy Toast’ by the look of it we were expecting it at least something we can enjoy but the peanut is like very soft that did not seal in tight air container. RM2.50

‘Sour Sop Ice Blended’ was my best companion in that morning, the only thing which taste flavourful yet can suck some mini slices of sour sop. RM4.90

‘Mango Pudding’ rather taste like from the instant packet.

It was rather a dissapointing breakfast for us, as I think we bring high expectation and good experience back from their branch at Melacca and came back here to eat with such a huge quality difference its kinda like a parent had lie to their kid that had promise to buy them sweets. Hopefully they improve in the future.

The Storm Warrior 2

One of their very first film which I would say quite a nice movie and with its effect and huge publicity of this movie, a lot of people went in with high expectation yet most of my friends got disappointed but to me its okay la..

The movie is about both the Wind and Cloud need to combine powers to battle against the powerfull dark lord and Wind have to learn the darkside power in this such period of time to gain so much power.

The movie is so so la, I would recommend you can watch it during movie day or DVD would be a great option.
