Over quite sometime there are many Hong Kong dessert that open and close down to the extend some of it are very good ones and I often wonder how come no one took this franchise Hoi Lau Shan that serve superb mango dessert in many version. Guess what?!! Finally one of the best Hong Kong dessert Hoi Lau Shan had put a step in Malaysia and 1-Utama being their first outlet.

I am very sure many of you that travel to Hong Kong will be familiar with this brand as its nearly available every where, something like our bubble tea Taiwan version. I rarely miss this dessert as everytime I went to Hong Kong upon arrival at the air port I would wallop 2-3 cups of these dessert before I take my public transportation. If you are a dessert lover then you would not want to miss it~

Hoi Lau San (1)

Now most Malaysians need not travel to Hong Kong to take this dessert anymore as it available here now, located at first floor in front of Isetan at 1-Utama Old Wing. Its just a few days old and well, I just cant resist the temptation and faster came here to satisfy my crave hoping that what is serve here would be something similar to the ones in Hong Kong. Besides that, if I remember correctly those branches in Hong Kong do not have the word healthy dessert…hmmm , I guess here they serve healthy ones?

As I was sitting and happily place my order, many of passerby checking out their menu and many are skeptical on their dessert. .

Hoi Lau San (2)

Standing there and stare blankly then walk away.

Hoi Lau San (3)

Its more like a kiosk style that smack right in the middle of the new old wing and its pretty hard for you to miss this huge orange sign board.

Hoi Lau San (4)

Menu are the same compare to the ones in Hong Kong as I have just return there 2 months ago . .

Hoi Lau San (5)

As I browse thru the menu one thing that caught my attention so hard is the pricing here, I would that that it cost a bomb to order and didnt know that it is so cheap here. A simple bowl of these dessert cost from RM9.90 onwards? OMG! In Hong Kong the ones that I usually order cost about HKD 48 = RM 24 per bowl here and I can say its at least 55% cheaper here!!!

Hoi Lau San (6)

Staring at the menu, I happily ordered all my favourites and to my disappointment one of my favorite which is with pamelo is out of stock as according to their waiter, he apologize as they are just a few days old and will restock very soon.

Hoi Lau San (6.3)

Mango Juice & Mango Cube – Mango Jelly @ RM 7.90. I usually had 2 cups of these that filled with thick freshly blend mango, top with mango cubes and jelly at the bottom, that makes me slurppp non stop of this. Surprisingly, the taste is like 80% similiar just that its not so sweet compare to the ones in Hong Kong.

Hoi Lau San (7)

Mango Icey Sweetie Ball @ RM 11.90 with freshly blend mango puree, mango cubes and glutinous ball. As near to Hong Kong version itself the glutinous ball is near to pretty hard not like our Malaysian version which is soft and chewy. Some of you might not like it.

Hoi Lau San (8)

One of the thing that you must not miss is this Fresh Mango Mochi @ RM 4.90 for 3 pieces

Hoi Lau San (9.0)

Skin over here is a bit thick yet its still soft that is made from mango and its shove with one huge chunk of mango cubes inside and outer layer is rube with coconut. One of my favourite and for RM4.90 I what 9 of these. Satisfying!

Hoi Lau San (11)

Triple Mango Delight @ RM 9.90

Hoi Lau San (12)

Filled with mango Ice cream, mango cubes, and a layer of mango pudding. The pudding tasted a bit artificial but well, I still enjoy my dessert.

If I get to order my Mango with Pamelo, it would be a perfect order yet nevertheless it is indeed satisfying for the price we are paying.

Upon what I eat today is my recommended list and if you like try others it should be fine, but not too miss these few as I mention to start off with . .

Last round in Hong Kong me and Ken (foodpoi.com) both of us whack this dessert with similiar amount cost us about RM120 which is near whopping HKD 250 just for these dessert itself and now for tonight I pay about RM50 for this whole package! Even my malay friends that went to Hong Kong they enjoy these dessert very much and ta pau mochi back for their parents!

Definately I am coming for more with its price being offered here. Taste is 80% similiar to the ones in Hong Kong as I believe the mango is less sweet and aromatic compare to the ones in Hong Kong. Well, with the price I am paying certainly I have no complain and just to enjoy.

One of the highly recommended Hong Kong dessert now from me!

Remark: After went to this outlet a few times, find that their quality is like roller coaster, sometimes its superb, sometimes it far below par because of the mango quality they have for the day. Its rather dissapointing compare to the first day that I had it. On htis branch, do not put so much high hope yet something to look for. . .

*Updates – 2nd jan 2014 : officially their dessert quality drop from bad to worst

After our satisfying dinner, then the first thing that came in my friends mind was ‘ Lai lai…cepat!! Pong sui, Pong sui’ to combine and go gamble. On that day itself, who ever say things that lose lah, things that go against the luck kena Tiau.
But actually our very original schedule was to head to ‘Hong Kong Disneyland’ but it was me that influence them to change their mind to go Macau. All the while I know that Macau is just a gambling island or I would rate it as mini Vegas but I did not know that they had develop till so nice. I got inspired that I must visit this island when I was watching this romantic movie acted by Andy Lau and Shu Qi – Look for a Star. Cannot deny that it was a great movie and also the whole film mostly film at Macau that they film it so nice till I wanna to there so badly. How I influence them was most of my friend did watch this movie, so just relate and describe..kekek
Our dress code for the day, White and Blue.
So every 1 contributed HKD 100 each and created a mini tou san group.
We are on our way…Macauzzzz…. And my friend were asking auntie Cyndy whether she can vomit a not..cuz she so old liau. Can tahan or not. Then gave her a pill and told her its ‘Feng Tau Yuen’.

The seating in the ferry and we have the front row. Cant really see the view as the front part is kinda high. This is how much it cost to go Macau for 1 way.

Finally, excitement mode on, reaching the new Pier as what the Macau tour guide told us and in front of us is the Macau International Air Port. Where he ask us where are we from, told him that from Malaysia and he directly mention that Air Asia also fly in here very frequent and a lot of his client take Air Asia. Something should be proud off.

When we learn to pronounce the word in the board, it totally sounds ugly, funny and damm weird, we were laughing all the way with our stupid facial expression and tongue twisting.

From far, that building with 3 colours, is one of a building that I am amaze off, its MGM Grand Macau Hotel which is very famous in Las Vegas and now in Macau.

One of the place that we will be heading with all classic Portuguese style building are in there. Picturessssss….
One of the old Pier that previously all the ferry and boats from China and Hong Kong would stop by. Now they have diverted to the new Pier.

I didn’t know that Macau have Grand Prix till the tour guide told us. That its one of a famous event that held over here annually. Its something like Singapore, they are using the normal road as their track.
When no more grand prix event, so what do they normally do with the track? It’s a grand prix for busses.
This is their starting point.

Ladies and Gentleman, please start your engine. . . . . . Passengers, please fasten your seatbelts.

Warning:
Those who have high blood pressure, heart attack, pregnant women, old folks above 55 and other sickness, please choose another alternative public transport. Your safety and after effect, we will not be responsible.

Then after this, normally for a tour guide, they will bring you to a particular shop for you to stop by and buy souvenir. In this shop we bought a interesting lighter which is a size of a chip the I forgot to take a pic but will later posted under souvenir post. Found out that in the very back part of the shop in a small cupboard I found this little cute souvenir.

Tadaaa….learn your skilss. . . .

Next destination. . .

One of Macau’s most famous landmarks, whereby every 1 that visited the island will NEVER miss this historic place. It’s the ‘St’Paul Church’ which was build on 1582 by the Portuguese and be one as the largest Catholic church in Asia at that time. 300 years later around 1835 was burn down by fire during a typhoon.

Till today, what is standing tall is the main part of the church and behind it had become a historic place to be visited.

I like the style of the surroundings, where at the bottom of the church, their building style is so classic and feel like you are in Europe like something similar in the movie of Angel and Demon which they show more about Rome.

From these moments onwards, we were jumping like hooligans to take the best pic. Just from this point, I think we jump quite a lot of times till the tourist scratch their head and thinking what they hell are this group of ppl trying to do.

This is what they have behind the main entrance, a heritage site that mention about how the church grow and so fort. As we were given limited time, so this is the onli pic I took.

Inside with this priest.

One of the best traveling vehicle in Macau is motorcycle. The tour guide told us, if you lost your key or don need a transportation, just simply use a key and open one of these bike, just pump and ride. Lol…that’s mean stealing. He said no. Just borrow to get to destination A to B.

After he mention that, there is a couple and the guy with a hot chick and the girl just put on helmet, took off with that guy. In Malaysia, if you were to ask a girl to ride on a bike with you for a date, I think they rather go back to their house or fine, this will be the last time I am going to see you.

They only have 1 way street and the street is damm narrow just enough for fei hai like me to walk.

After jumping and running around that makes us sweating like hell or the weather in Macau is just killing us even though that the weather for the day is cloudy. Thank God! We are heading to Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. A place for dining, Shopping, Convention, Fun and Hotel’s are located in this mini area. Click on the link, it’s a cool website to visit.

Our lunch had been arrange and was eating in this restaurant. The food was totally disappointed and I never careless even to take a picture. The only thing that interests me to take the pic is the 70’s car concept dining area.

A safari if not mistaken.

Then we trail down the road on the side and lead us to Rocks Hotel. After I came back from the trip and read in the newspaper that Star Metro was featuring this hotel I was impress as it is a 5 star hotel. They have very cool classic room interior design. The find out more about the hotel click here Rocks Hotel.

I don know which part is consider which part. The back or the front.

Trying to act cute infront of the hotel. So all ended up Hamster style~

After photo shooting there a lot and slowly trail back to the other end. We reach back here which is the Babylon Casino which is the restaurant that we had lunch and this building was next to it.

It’s a long way to reach to the there end which had a mini Coliseum. The weather that day, is seriously killing us.

This area was build upon to very Portuguese style.

This is one the scene where the movie of ‘Look for a Star’ by Andy Lau took place.

Non stop of taking pictures all the way~
A gila pic took place when can come out with something weird by trying hard to polute the water.
Finally we had reach the Coliseum, and my very first pic, running and jumping around…weeeeeee~~~~!!!
Another pic we trying to create.

One of the alley.

When me and my friend saw this lady, I fast fast took the pic of her and my friend were saying, she must be ‘Ngor Tai’ standing here pretending to hold the broom and look at opposite. Come come, faster take, the feeling of ngor tai police in action mode.
While walking back to our bus, then the tour guide suddenly tell us about her daughter, that to maintain a girl in Macau is the same as the 1 in Hong Kong which Sg’rean have their 5c’s but them are even worst, head to toe all branded, go holiday this and that. Then ask us any 1 interested in her daughter or not. Lol. Forgot to take the pic of her daughter, but her daughter is quite pretty. Then one of my friend like wahhhh..uncle, correct 1 or not, or you download from the net and put in your pic. Then the tour guide like suddenly, U dou chi sin ge! She is 19 years old this year. A funny old guy, like that promote the daughter.

After this place, we were so freaking tired. Wanted to bring us to a temple and we just cancel it, lazy to walk, jump and run anymore. Tour us to Li Ka Sing very first house in the island. Then told us about his 3rd wife, how he manage to marry this wife as before marriage, he gave the wife a blank cheque and ask her to write what ever figure you want. Then if not mistaken she tore it off and told Li Ka Sing something touching that is how she is one of Li Ka Sing wife’s today. To know more about the story, please google up.
Quickly ask the tour guide bring us to casino. Then suddenly my friends eye like ‘ting ting ting’ with stars at the side, no longer feel tired. Straight away *gambling mode on. On the way, she was telling us how to bet, what to do when win, what to do when lose. Then I said ok ok.. No problem. I asked her, got wear red pantie boh? She said no. Then I said haiya…how to win like dat.. No Ong la!!!

On the way saw this building which looks like bottle, the tour guide told us that the building was build with a feng shui purpose. To ‘Ong’ the company. In Macau you will get to see a lot of nice and weird building because its all about feng shui and all gambling area where Chinese believe.

The tour guide bring us to the biggest Casino, Hotel and Shopping area in Macau which is ‘The Venetians’. All in one area. You can gamble and you can shop and you can stay The pricing in the mall is not cheap even for food. Its like Genting, when you go up there everything increase in price.

But I was totally impress at the place, they had make it a mini Venice in there. The sky on top is fake but it looks bloody real. The sky color changes accordingly to outside. If its cloudy outside then it’s the same in here.

They had a lot of performance in Italian style exactly you are in Venice. Singing, street performing really an eye catching mall. Looks very plain from the building outside but once you step inside, its another world. It was weekend and the place is full of ppl especially the casino.

This is how it looks like with the sky on top. Does it look real like you are outside?

One of the main area and this is the south gate if I am not mistaken. After taking some basic pic, all my friends are ready to go in and gamble. Lai Lai lai..huat ah…Then I told them I do not wan to follow them, I want to walk around, taking pics and do some shopping. So left a few person with me as the Malay cant go in so I am with them.

I told my Malay friends, see now they go in so excited. Ask them they must see the after effect which is I told them, if you see they all talk very happily and come out excited means the win. If the come out look very tired and speechless means the lose. Of course I hope them they win cuz my share is in there.

Then I make my mark in the toilet by taking my very own sweet time baking my hot chocolate cakes. When I was sitting in there, I knock on the toilet door, it was a solid sound on it and the thought in my mind how nice if I can steal this door and sell it.

This is the boat that they use to take the tourist or the passenger around the mall and the guy that row the boat will sing all the way. Forgot to take that pic with the guy in it.

One of the shop that I came across which find it pretty interesting is, by knowing that how crazee of the people to Hello Kitty, there is actually the whole shop selling the items. Its very nice. Should check this out.

This is the human statue. They are so proffesional till that no matter how or what kind of reaction you did to them they wont laugh, unless you use your finger to poke them. The catch is you put money he will dance for bout 30 sec then stop.
In this pic he close his eyes what right, how to catch he open his eyes is you stuck your hand towards the money area, then he will suddenly stare at you. Damm geng.. He also can know~!
Camwhore around the shopping mall.
One of the coffee area.
Inside the mall walkway.
For all the Man U fans out there, please do not miss this shop. Its a very huge shoopppp with all Man U items.
After this place, we head back to the pier around 4.30 pm to catch our 5 pm boat and head to Avenue of stars~

Back to my delay post of my Hong Kong trip, this is the itenery for day 3 that we are heading to Macau for a day trip. So we woke up at 7am and have to gather at lobby by 8am as the tour guide going to pick us up for this trip. The day trip package with tour guide that we had arranged cost about HKD 350 each including the ship fare.

It was early in the morning when we reach there, as we still have 45 minutes before departing and we grab a quite breakfast. Ask the tour guide which is the best restaurant to have for breakfast and he recommended Macau Restaurant. He added that he don earn commission on this ya.

When we were looking at the restaurant we saw the logo on the side of the restaurant and looks very familiar and only realize that it is the logo of Nando’s. Then we were thinking, no copy right meh? Can just use like dat 1 ah. Then later only found out that Macau was conquer by Portuguese before and Nando’s is originate from there.

It was still quite early there and in the restaurant had not much people, so we occupied the whole outside area of the restaurant.

Again, one thing I like about Hong Kong is the way they offer the breakfast set. Set A, B, C or D. which they called it ‘A Chan or B Chan’

They only pass us 2 menus to choose from. So particularly we nearly everything offer in there.

We were also told that we must try the ‘Portugese Tart’ which is very very nice. Highly Recommended by the tour guide. Which cost HKD 7 per piece as you can see.

The very first order that came was the ‘Portuguese Tart’ which is just directly infront of us. The quantity that we order that makes the whole oven left 1/ 4. The outer layer of the tart is crispy, never over baked. One bite in, the filling in the middle is soft custard that brings out the sweetness of it, never too sweet but just perfect and the top layer just burn with the right temperature that create a thin layer of crust. A good appetizer to start off with, as expected.

Enjoying my bites of the tart’s.
My order is ‘Set A-Macaunese Crispy Bun w/pork chop and Scramble Egg’. The bun is seriously very nice, as come out what taken in the pic. The pork is fried to perfection, never too meaty in the inside and the sauce that the use just the right one to eat it along with the crispy bun. First bite in it, the crisps on the side just fall off, the taste in the bun something like butter but its not, a fragrance which is nice to eat along with the pork chop. The scramble egg is very soft and it will melts in your mouth. HKD 25 for this.
‘Set C – Oatmeal, Ham and Egg Sandwich’. When got served to our table, was a bit shocking that it just so bloody plain and cost HKD 26,even more expensive than mine. The only thing is unique is the bread and the ham. It is very chewy and eat along with the toasted oat bread and some of the chili sauce there, is just satisfying for a plain meal.
The thing that I will never miss for my breakfast is their ‘Polo Yau Bun’. With a thick layer of butter in there that slowly melting in it and the warm polo bun just makes the taste even better. The top crust one bite the crust will just fall down. Not too sweet and just perfectly baked. I ended up ate 2. HKD 9 if not mistaken.
‘Sausage with Fried Egg’. Nothing much to comment on this, its just way too plain and cost HKD 20. shit!

Since the day reach Hong Kong, this dish was never out of sight ‘Jar Jiang Mian’. The one in this restaurant wasn’t really that nice. The gravy is a bit sweet and not warm. The Maggie is abit over cook which makes it a bit soft instead of springy.

‘Noodle with Harm Choy’. A plain noodle soup that makes it stand out is the sour soup that they pour in. The soup never too sour that makes your jaw bones wanna fall out but a good starter of the meal. Share with the rest.

‘Set D – Thick Toast with Butter Sweet Corn, Ham and Sausage with Cullet Fish Fillet’. We were wondering how they manage to cook the ham, and the fillet was fried to golden brown. Although it looks very plain but the taste of it is way much nicer. The fillet is very soft that shows the sign of freshness and again eat along with the toast and the chili sauce its just perfect. The corn was steam to ngam ngam and a bit of salt to bring up the taste. The price is HKD 26

All the set above comes with a ‘Tea, Coffee or Yin Yeong(mix)’
So early in the morning and have such a satisfying breakfast, we were charge up to explore Macau and my friend start to collect money to go Gamble. Every 1 contribute abit. Macauuuuuu…here we comee…..To be continue……..

I have been always told by my friend saying that if go to Hong Kong must try out the MacD. Cuz got PORK! So the lunch we grab MacD nearby my hotel there. The best thing about their MacD also they got their very own Mac Cafe. Which is I can see that selected outlets and the one that I went heard my friend said that the coffee there is better than StarBucks.
This is the ‘Pork McMuffin. Which is the only pork thing that they have as another 1 is ‘Double Ham Burger’ out of stock..ISHH!!! The other looks more tempting and delicious. So No choice have to grab this. To me actually it is not much different compare to the daily MacD breakfast that we are eating everyday. Nothing special to comment about it. The medium set is HKD 28

But this my order.Quater Pounder. Medium Set HKD30. I think that Malaysia version is nicer and taste better especially the beef pattie. The grilling process not as juicy and cheezy as what I had. But their concept of the burger is for healthy purpose. When you eat it at least you wont feel guilty..haha

I am totally impress by the taste of ‘Grilled Chicken Burger’. It is like when we eat Ramlee burger chicken but this is the Chinese version of Ramleee burger I would rate. Taste very good. The chicken breast meat is soft and grill to perfection, the sauce that mix in it taste very good. I would say that it is a item worth trying.

Find that their box is nice~ Even though do not know what are they writing on the box besides the Grilled Chicken Burger.

The ‘Grilled Chicken Burger’

I found out that the website of MacD Hong Kong version is very nicely done.Worth to check it out~

Second day of our trip. As we wake up early and gather ready to go and hunt for food. Previously at Mong Kok I did spot a shop there already as it was quite packed with people but I think every shop also was packed with ppl that night.

While we reached LangHam Place to go for shopping and we found out that we were too early. Most of the shop had not open yet so we went to look for breakfast. Ask around for the stall on the street where will he recommend us to eat and he ask us walk walk walk further down bout 2 blocks away and turn right.

So ended up in Mong Kok again for the first night when we came out from the subway tunnel. Then I instantly point to the shoop that I spotted before and ask every 1 go in and eat.

I don know how to read chinese so what the heck. Just take pictures and post it up. The funny thing in the restaurant is always ‘A Chan’, ‘B Chan’, ‘C Chan’ means like set A or B or C. Really a Hong kong tea house. Kekekek.
As for me, I only know how to see and point. A half banana like me which know how to speak but do not know how to read, so the only thing to rely on during order food of course is the Pictures. If the pictures quality is good and the food take tempting and come out SUCKS also no choice.
If I am not mistaken this is ‘Set G’ HKD 20 which is 1 ‘Milk Tea’ and ‘Polo Bun’. First thing first. I must say that the milk tea here is far much nicer that any of the restaurant in Malaysia can offer. 10x better than Kim Gary or watever Hong kong restaurant we have. The thickness of the tea and the milk taste is just there. A satisfying drink to start off with.
and of course my very favourite and not to be miss during in Hong Kong which is of course the ‘Polo Pau‘. The top, is perfectly backed and the crust is sweet, the bun is soft and the butter is melting to suits the taste of it. One bite will just take your breath away. This might not be the best polo bauz in the area but to me, it is satisfying though which I had 2.
This is what I order besides the Set G. The name is ‘Jar Jiang Mian if not mistaken, and the taste to me till today is still fresh in my mind and craving for more of it. The best thing is the noodle of course, it is curley curley and just don know how to tell why the wantan noodle in Hong Kong is much better than in Malaysia. The meat is soft, the sauce is sour and abit spicy. When you mix and stir it together, you just want to have more of it. HKD 24
My friend order the Koey Teow Soup’ Noting fancy about it. The soup is like plain water, the koey toew is normal. Plain plain like dat also around HKD 24.

Next of course not to be miss in Hong Kong which is a MUST eat food. ‘Wan Tan Noodle’. As I say on the Jar Jiang Mian above the noodle is just so nice and curley curley and you can just bite the strand of it. It is abit solid which makes you want to salivate more of the noodle. The soup base is good, which had the taste of wantan and they are surely not to kiam siap on the WanTan. Inside it, is filled with 2 big prawns and the taste of it, you would just want to ask for more. 3 is not enough, to satisfaction you need another 2 which makes just ngam ngam. HKD 24

The last dish which is thing the look is kinda funny, ‘Macaroni with Ham’. I feel like the soup taste really macaroni and the ham is just ham. Noting much to comment on this as I only try the soup base.
and of course.. all of us are very full and satisfy with our breakfast…Time to Head to SHOPPING!!!!!!!

Location:
Nathan Road( In Between Shantung Street and Agryl Street)
By Subway, go down at Mong Kok Station,
Find Exit E1. Walk straight and a few shops away you will directly see this shop already.
It is around either One Grand Tower/Two Grand Tower

Was walking around for the night quite long, so it was me who made the call saying that kia liau…go food hunting. As I remembered last time when I came to this area, there is 1 takoyaki very very nice and the queue is very long.

First stoop of the night, Nelson Street.

As I spotted this stall, directly drag the whole group to this stall as I smelled Smelly Toufu. When I reached this stall I was so excited like a 3 year old kid saw a ice cream guy, and get to see so many things to eat. When I spotted this stall that time I cant really see what were they selling as this stall that time it was full with food patrons. The street with that number is only this shop is here where you can see the shop is flooded with ppl.
Our very first stop of this shop………………
Of course the no.1 thing that MUST not MISSSSSS….. The ‘Curry Fish Ball’ The upper deck is non spicy and the 1 below is Spicy. After taking this picture I got scolded by the store owner saying that not allow to take pictures. Then I was like wtf!!!

This is a small bowl of curry fish ball which cost HKD 8.

Of course cannot compare to the 1 I ate at Sri Petaling Pasar Malam Curry Fish Ball. The fragrance of the currry is there and the softness of the fish ball its like you use a knife to slice it when I am biting it. I ordered the spicy as it was really spicy. One ball enough to stir you high. Definitely good stuff.

Wahhhhh….this is one of the best thing to get in this stall also, by looking at it and remembering the taste just makes me drool again. It is ‘Fried Pig Intestine. The skin is crispy with gold brown colour and the filling is chewy and of course got a lil stink smell and taste just makes it perfect. For those who eat pig spare parts, of course this is verrryy Highly Recommended by me. One stick is around HKD9

Next is my bestie bought Siew Mai’. The great thing is not about the sauce of it. The sweet sauce mix with it that stir up the taste. Comparing with the siew mai in malaysia, still think it taste better from the street food. It is small in size, with the stim taste and soft. Just alright.

This must not be miss also, one of the Hong Kong street food signature. Of course one of in my hotlist food hunt which is the ‘Smelly Toufu. To the dissapointment, the smell of the smelly toufu is not as strong as last time which you can smell it 2 blocks away. This I get to know they serve the toufu when I walked nearby the stall.
The toufu is not as smelly as I ate last time, but of course it is much better compare to Sri Petalling because of the smell and of course the SAUCE!!! The sauce you have to mix it with, sweet sauce, their very own chili sauce and chili flakes with some ginger. Wow, even though the toufu is not really smelly compare to last time but with the mixture of the sauce, can just put the whole thing in my mouth and enjoying it.
After finishing it, when I try to talk to Yeong my bestie, she said she cant really smell the smelliness of the smell when I was talking. The amazing thing was last time me and my bro ate on the street and went back up on the bus, the old lady ask me and my bro did we eat smelly toufu, and we asked her how she know, then she said that we stinks.. 😀
2 pieces of toufu around HKD 9.
Most of the things in this stall is very nice. Should Try!

Walk and walk and walk then came till this street. From what I eat just now, I am still hungry and my friend ask me am I alright. I said of course, part of my mission here is food hunting. Eat lah~ The stall is located behind this street board.

This is the next shop I came across as I was very thirsty and saw this shop got sell bubble cup tea. Of course it has always been my favorite and by looking so many ppl at this stall and give it a try. I drink the ‘Bubble Cup Tea’ till I forgot to take the pic. The drink definitely is a highly recommended which most of the patrons are aiming for it.

As I bought the drink first and let the rest try ended up every 1 having 1 cup. The pearl is so chewy, the drink in it is just the right taste. Not too sweet not too diluted. The drink was around HKD 12

The food that they sell is similar to the first stall that we eat. Again I was trying to take the pic, got scolded by this stall owner. Then I was like why in their shop they directly put a sign no pictures please!

This is one of the ‘Mix Ball’ that I found it quite funny and just bought one. Start from the top ‘Beef Ball’, ‘Pork Ball’, ‘Fish Ball’ and ‘Squid Ball’ which cost around HKD 10 for this stick.

Honestly, I find the taste is abit weird as they put some satay sauce and don know what sauce and the taste of the ball ball thing doesn’t impress but still finish the whole stick.

Then went back to grab another cup of Bubble cup tea as I only manage to have 2-3 sips and my friend gave me empty glass back.

This round I went there realize that they sell Siew Mai’ and decided to grab one again to compare what is the difference with another stall.

After eating eat, my only comment must try! Again the sauce is impressive and very nice. It was mix with sweet sauce, peanut sauce, some chili oil and chili sauce. After you mix with the siew mai and the taste had combine out it had become very addictive. As my friend saw I ate till like that, they grab another cup and just eat till they drop. Around HKD 8

This shop is just a few doors away, it sells takoyaki. At last found one which I think is good.
The store outlook is alright and not many people but my friend she was very tired so borrow their tables and we have to buy their food.
They have large stove to be done compare to places like our pasar malam or indoor supermarket which only owned 1/3 of it.
This is what I mean borrow their tables by purchasing the food from next door and eats there because that stall does not have tables. So we were parking there for that moment.
I order the ‘Original Takoyaki cuz I don understand what the girl is mumbling about and I don know how to read chinese so just point lah…and this is wat I get. Which cost me around HKD 25.
By the look itself I was not impress and the first bite that I eat, does not really taste good. Then asked my friend what bout theirs, they shake their head. The filling is does not taste good even we feel that our pasar malam here is much better.
