Early morning what do you usually have for your breakfast? Western? Local cuisine? It had been a while since I last visited this place, which is old school and classic. Its not more than this famous Indian cuisine that had been operating here for more than 10 years. Roti Canai Transfer road is also known as one of a landmark to me and my friends.

I could not even can remember when was the last time I came here, it was many many years back.

transfer road (1)

I have always wanted to drop by but most of the time I could not wake up. At last was force to wake up by Ken and manage to come by this place.

transfer road (2)

On the tray itself, roti canai is being fried non stop as many people are waiting and taking away too.

All the gravy are serve pippin hot and it was just perfect that the morning itself it was morning and just the right things to pair after.

transfer road (8)

Dining experience here is very different compare to other places as you have to squeeze in this pretty tight spot to have your seat. With much more seating, canteen style pretty much reminds me of primary school days.

Every one just sit in single line and face the road yet we enjoy the view of the busy chef preparing all the pipping hot roti canai.

transfer road (9)

What we usually order a piece of beef in this special gravy with their very own recepi, do not deceive by the fiery red curry as its not too spicy yet aromatic with spices.

Love mine with lots of extra gravy and another item that you shall not miss is their season onions to pinkish colour. A bit sweet in taste which is their signature item here.

Last round when I was in Melaka, we did alot of food hunt and thanks to Jason introduce us one of his all time favourite nan place – Pak Putra. We were already full day of food hunting and this was the last stop before we head back to KL and all of us were already complaining super full max till want to vomit out.

Pak Putra (1)

Pak Putra is famous among local crowd and now which had grown to draw many attention from other local tourist to hit this place for night hang out area which is conveniently 5 minutes walk away from Jonker Street. It is one of a restaurant that serve Indian cuisine which most of the people are mainly coming here for their Chicken Tandori and Nan, at times it can take at least an hour to be served, that Jason mention that they do not have the man power to take charge off after they had expand.

Pak Putra (2)

This is one of the meaning of expansion.

Pak Putra (3)

Pak Putra (4)

Pak Putra (5)

Tandori Chicken was not up to my expectation and according to Jason, it doesnt taste like that, which normally taste much better, which he mention alot of crowd today. Well, still so far my all time favourite Tandori chicken stall is in KL, Ampang area (click here)

Pak Putra (6)

This is another thing must order, which I cannot remember what is the name.

Pak Putra (7)

This is the special nan that Jason ordered. We name it Jason Mumbles Nan!

Pak Putra (8)

AS this is a special customise nan that consist of double cheeze, double egg, double onion, double something else in total with 6 main ingredient to come out this nan.

Pak Putra (9)

Look at how the double cheeze ooze out when we tear it apart!

Pak Putra (10)

This is how much ingredient that we are talking a bout, with one small bites, its rich in taste, and remember that I said every one complain super full, the plate went out to another table never came back. Ended up we order another 3 more this special nan. IT just taste deliciously finger licking good!

Recommended for the nan if you do drop by in Melaka~

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and a time when Muslims across the world are required to fast each day of the entire month, from sunrise to sunset. The evenings are spent enjoying family and community meals, engaging in prayer and spiritual reflection, and reading from the Qu’ran during buka puasa time at Serena Brasserie.

This month Serena Brasserie will be featuring a lavish ‘Buka Puasa’ spread of traditional local specialties from four different Malaysian States and ‘a-la-kampung’ favourites for all to ‘berbuka puasa’, whether with families of friends.

To the joy of festive mood, the terrace area had transform into mini hawker area with ketupat plastic lights tie around the stall to create up the ambiance. It was nice to see a little green, yellow and pinkish that holds one of the Malay cultural colour during this period.

Ramadan Nikko (2)

Wide variety of food ranges from local to eastern cuisine not to be miss.
