Party of the year is back again with Hennessy Artistry heading off with bang again as many of us are looking forward for this event. As for this round there will be a great mixture of music styles and cultures from Korea, Australia to the US and UK. See below who are the line up.

Starkillers pretty well known in USA’s dance music scene.  He is formerly known as Nick Terranova, Las Vegas talent Starkillers has been cutting a swathe through the bolshier end of the global house music scene over the last few years with his tough-edged, eclectic sound.

His popularity speaking for itself with two of Beatport’s Top 25 biggest-sellers of 2009 (including a Number 1 during the same year with his remix of Armand Van Helden’s classic The Funk Phenomenon), and more sales smashes over the last two years. Then there’s his Essential New Tune accolade from Pete Tong and an IDMA (International Dance Music Awards) nomination for his anthem Discoteka, and acclaimed remixes for some of the biggest names in the world – including Robbie Rivera, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Jerome Isma-Ae and iiO.

A great profile to kick start off with~

We have electro house then of course we must have a cool mix, next is for this cool sexy DJ, I guess many of you heard of this track especially on radio or club mix she had since put out some hugely successful tracks, and continues to take over Malaysian dance floors and airwaves with the euphoric track “We Run The Night” ft. Pitbull.

She is well know in Australia and international DJ scene that makes her the only female DJ to sign a major label recording deal in Australia, Havana has delivered on Universal Music’s expectations with multiple releases of her Crave compilation series, all charting and spurning successful national and international club tours.

Her success track is amazing by holding down three hugely successful weekly radio spots. With over a 1-million-strong cult following on her weekly sets, Havana owns the Australian and European airwaves through the Austereo network and Radio FG France – one of Europe’s most popular dance radio networks and home to some of the world’s biggest DJ’s including David Guetta, Tiesto, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, Bob Sinclar and others.

Koreans are making a huge impact in Asian market. Block B is the latest crew to be hitting our shores, with hottest K-Pop rookies to debut last year. Right under their belt they are hitting the music scenes with three hugely successful records out, namely New Kids On The Block, Welcome To The Block and Do You Wanna B. With that they are one of the fastest rising K-Pop boy bands internationally.

With their rising star, they have certainly make a cool addition to the party scene.

Another artist in line is the winner of  2008 The X Factor. Not only that, she is a killer in the chart making her three-time chart-topper on the singles chart (her debut, a stirring cover of Hallelujah, sold 105,000 copies on its first day of release) and the creator of a UK number 1 album. Her success in it had bring her a few features collaborations with the likes of Flo Rida Ne-Yo and RedOne. She can belt out a ballad and she brings energy in abundance once the tempo shifts up a gear is what we need in the event. Another different genre to make it house rocking.

This round Hennessy is providing a unique service as they understand party hard to be safe as we are assure to fully take advantage of the FREE H-Artistry Party Shuttle or the subsidized H-Artistry Party Taxi services and be chauffeured to MIECC and back, as parking at the venue will not be available. Complimentary mineral will be provided throughout the night, and food stalls will also be available outside the venue for everyone to recharge during and after the event.

H-Artistry is open to non-Muslims above the age of 18 only.

Ahhh, One of the most happening party in town is back, that I have attended numermous times of their event and enjoy all of it. One of the last one I attended happened at MIECC last year, with superb staging being build on the convention center turn the whole place into a big party scene that never fails to impress. We just enjoy the free flow all night long . . .

That all happen last year, and when I got the posters for the first Hennessy Artistry that going to happen in Penang on this weekend, I find it weird as why the posters is the same as the finale only realise that now they are doing it BIG, as usually they kick off with 2 smaller ones then lead to the biggest ever finale.

Now Penangites can party hard with Hennessy Artistry this weekend that going to take place in Straits Quay Convention Center (SQCC) on 16th June, which is one of the most prominent retailing waterfront by facing the sea.

I am sure that we can expect the whole transformation from an empty space with a big party scene which is the trademark H-Artistry party atmosphere that going to blow you guys away, as this round they do have cool line up ready to blast your feet off the ground! This year super line up will be Australian Mega duo – Yolanda be Cool, Taiwanese famous singer – Landy Wen, American singer, songwriter and producer – Chris Willis, and local superstar DJs, Goldfish and Blink  and Korean superstar, Park Jung Min (of Korean boy band SS501 fame). Certainly its going to be a great great night.

Chris Willis is one of the man that rock American Top 40 radio ‘”Love Is Gone.” Lifted from “Pop Life,” also a great artist which is a singer, songwritter that is very groovy to turn a killer track to chart topping pop songs. I am sure you guys are familiar with this song:

David Guetta & Chris Willis ft Fergie & LMFAO – Gettin’ Over You

and one of the latest: Chris Willis – Louder

One of my favorite artist – Landy Wen that is famous with my friends during Karaoke session especially the track featuring Jay Chou ( Jay Chou feat. Landy Wen – Wish Me A Happy Birthday ). Great news that now she is appearing in Hennesy Artistry this year that she is known as Taiwanese Female R&B artist and with her recent involvement in Chinese Drama had made herself more solid in entertainment scene.

Some of her track: Landy Wen Lan 温岚 D.I.S.C.O

Their single, had went top chart no.1 in 18 countries infiltrating radio waves, TV shows, and pretty much every dance floor in the world over the summer. With this dynamic duo from Sydney, just imagine yourself how are you going to party up with their great influence from indie, old school hip hop, to Chicago house to techno.

One of my Favourite Local DJ Goldfish & Blink that very often played in Club Hitz in Hitz.fm. Goldfish is doubt as King of KL Hip Hop that he can just stir up the whole area that makes the crowd went all crazy with his excellent tune mixing. Over the years, he has played alongside big names such as Missy Elliott, Kanye West,LinkinPark, Black Eyed Peas and Prodigy.

DJ Blink is new star in KL underground scene, that start off with progressive house for 2 years before heeding the ever-nagging call of Hip Hop turntablism. Now he is regard as one of the top DJ in KL and you him spinning raucous rhythms, funky beats and the requisite dancing till you drop.

It was always the wrong timing when this event is there, it sure do clashes with something important to do or be on that day but this round with the super duper best of all. After they have rocked many places in Malaysia from Penang, to Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu then now back here, for this round I definitely would not want to miss this Big Bash of Hennessy Artistry which is the biggest of all among the others that going to be attended with more than 4000 people.

I just can wait to let him hop my night.

F500_back

I am a fan of Black Eyed Peas but let me introduce you the Asian Black Eyed Peas to be known as Da Mouth that will be rocking the center stage with rhythm pumping in with their high energy performance.  With unique member composition they had able to bring up fun and funky club hip-hop which is something unique, unique with its crew also which is form by Canadian-Taiwanese MC 40, Korean-Taiwanese-American male vocalist Harry, Japanese-Taiwanese DJ Chung Hua, and Japanese female vocalist Aisa. An Asian

DJ Alex Dreamz (2)
