Reunion Dinner @ Tai Zhi Heen, Prince Hotel

Chinese New Year, is just around the corner. . . Most of the families will either have their reunion dinner at home, but this round, I have opted to have a early reunion dinner with my friends first at one of my favourite Chinese restaurant in Prince Hotel, Tai Zhi Heen which is located at level 1 of the Hotel.

Lou Sang says who that have to be chinese, with the modern tradition now, 1 Malaysia concept had evolve and involve all races to enjoy this great joyful event~

Usual dinner with start off with ‘Double boil Shark Fin Soup with Chinese Cabbage’. It is clear and aromatic. . . I just do not mind to have another bowl.

Braised dried oysters with fatt choy, baby abalone, sea cucumber and broccoli, that fatt choi during this festive season is a must have item.

Traditional Style Steam Cod Fish, is another favourite dish that steam till its softe, and the cod are really fresh.

Another signature dish of the restaurant is this Stir Fried Prawns with Pumpkin Sauce, fried to perfection with the sauce well coated by the prawn, and must eat it while its hot.

If you prefer something cool at the end of the meal, then ‘Double boiled hasma with red dates and glutinous sesame dumplings’ is a must not miss desert.

New Make over of Tai Zhi Heen Restaurant @ Prince Hotel

Recently Tai Zhi Heen had re-launch their restaurant with a new look that add on a new facelift that was close down for business for the renovation and now, with its new opening, lion dance group had been invited to add more ‘Ong’ to the restaurant and Carven Ong our local famous clothing designer had come out with a new design specifically just for this launch.

For busineses Chinese would always start off with Lion Dance to make the whole place more ‘Ong’ for the business.

Last week was a great week that we got invited over for a session at Mezzanine Bar & Lounge at Prince Hotel. It was more like a blogger gathering to us as it was the usual faces that turn up for that night, with our all time great host, Shirley.

This lounge indeed a great place to meet up with friends and business partners to chat for the day as the place is very comfort and the people working there are very attentive.

If you feel that you needed to be pampered more, you can just open a bottle of wine and cigars to makes you feel better, then Fidel’s is one of the place you would not want to miss.

At Mezzanine Bar & Lounge, it serves a wide selection of cognacs, armagnacs, cocktails and wines, as well as a daily morning and afternoon tea.

We were then got a chance on preview of Venezuelan Appertizer which is happening at Prince Hotel this week. ‘Prawn Cocktail and Cheesy Stick’

While enjoying our finger food for the night, we were carried away by Soul Intent with their jazz performance.

As the jazzy performance started not long, we were mesmerize by the voice of their lead singer Ms.Atilia Sarani, the lead singer of Soul Intent, with more booze flowing down, some of us even requested some songs and only get to know that she merged as the weekly champion of Sinaran Passport Kegemilangan 92 and also one of the top 10 finalists for Malaysian Idol Season Two.

With a great night like that, a glass of red wine, sit down and chat with the rest of the people is something that me and Ken really enjoy.
