Usually to hunt for nice food, their location is always hidden some where which usually do not appear in google map. Another restaurant that turn out to be a hit among office worker in the area is this new Songket Restaurant which just started operation few months back. They are situated in a busy road of Jalan Yap Kwan Seng that is directly located behind Tony Romas.
One good thing about this restaurant is that they have alot of free parking around the area and once park its just few steps away.
By the term Songket is a fabric that belongs to the brocade family of textiles of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. It is hand-woven in silk or cotton, and intricately patterned with gold or silver threads. The metallic threads stand out against the background cloth to create a shimmering effect.
