It was midnight around 12.35am, after fetching my friend back, suddenly hungry and decided to drop by at the Jelutong Market at night whereby it become a hawker center. Wanted to eat the ‘Leng Lui Tong Sui’ but no chance cuz the stall already preparing to go home ZZzZzzz..so left afew stalls over the area and eating back this ‘Prawn Mee’ usually with the Tong Sui.
They have a another stall of the Prawn Mee, but this stall is infront of the ‘Leng Lui Tong Sui’ which I usually eat. The soup taste nice, you can taste the prawn shells and sweet ‘gula batu’ taste. It was hot and just nice to eat for supper. Not a bit portion. It is only RM2.50.

In the evening I had nothing to do so decided to drop by here, the ‘Khoo Kongsi‘ area to take some pictures before their big event. Cultural performance whereby it is a yearly event organise by them. To avoid the crowd I went 1 day earlier.

Official Penang Bull Mascot to be ready for the ‘bullish’ year ahead.
For the preparing of praying ceremony
Do not know until today.
I was on the way walking back then got attracted to this stall because of the banner cover all over the stall. Like hardcore promoting their food with alot of newspaper cutting and in alot of media before. So decided to give it a try.

The ‘tau keh soh‘ is very friendly by serving very fast as there are lot of customer waiting.

This uncle thought that I am a reporter for food, lol…Did not know I look like 1..he keep asking me to take picture of him in the stall, so decided to take for him. He was so happy like strike 4-d.

Even inside the kopitiam wall also got the news of the food.
This is what the food is famous for, because of Eel Fish Ball Soup. The fish ball is made of eel meat. They have 2 version of it, as I know how to read English only, so this is the section for you guys to read.
Well, actually there is nothing special about the noodle, but I must say that the ‘Eel Fish ball’ is so soft like a very fresh steam fish meat. Mix with the soy sauce, gives you the perfect taste. The noodle soup is like water. Tasteless. Mine is consider added Eel Fish Ball so it cost me RM3.50

This is the place where a few of my friends been talking about when I am back, a must place to visit. I did not know since when Penang have such a nice place to chill or yum cha. It is called ‘Sunset Bistro’.

It gives you kinda the feeling when you are on your vacation in one of the nice island, and there are places like this for you to chit chat and drink beer. If you are too stress from your daily work, need a peaceful environment to calm your mind or need some good times with your friends or your gf/bf, I would strongly agree on this Bistro. If you are hungry they serve hawker to western food, beer, fruit juice, normal drinks but the kitchen close early at 1030-11.00 pm.

This is what I mean, a very relaxing place whereby they put music like, soft house, Jamaican, jazz, and some R n B towards middle of the night. You can just sit there close your eyes and listen to the music, enjoying the sea breeze and the sound of the wave splashing on the sea side.
If you would like to take picture, be there by 6.30, watch the sunset. I was at 9pm and only realise that if I would to come early it would be nice. I will be there again on 6.30 the next round.

This is the food that I ordered ‘Char Koay Teow‘. The taste of it has a very nice strong taste of the wok yet alil bit of the left over burn koay teow a bit which he take in on the noodle also which he did not throw it off. This food is quite satisfying as I was drinking with Tiger beer.

This morning was suppose to meet up my friend. This is the first time in my life waiting for some one for so long. I was waiting for my ex colleage from 11 till 3 without notifying. Bloody Idiot!!! saying as a friend. ‘What a friend’!! till today he had dissapeared.

Another type of the O-Town food style. It had quite a nice interior for the inside as this is non smoking area and for smokers you can sit outside which I find it pretty hot. The staff here is friendly but the service here is bad.

The ‘Teh Iced’ i orederd RM3.50 Taste so so only.
A set of bread toast with kaya and ButterRM1.20(damm little, only 4 small cut peices) and 2 Omega half boil eggsRM 3.20
The price mention is based on estimation as I cant really remember the exact price but it is near.

  Wisma Genting Food Court
This is a hot and very hot place to have your lunch. Today went to try this Nasi Goreng Ayam. Usually its alot of people and since its Friday the que has been much lesser. It definitely worth the price of the food. One funny thing is that today I am hungry and request for tambah nasi, the kak there was like ‘aiyooo, sudah berapa hari tak makan, nak tambahlol….funny lady but definitely a nice person. Not kiam siap on the extra rice given to me. The fried rice has nice aroma (nasi goreng malay type) then the fried chicken is nice.Normal fried chicken type where you get in pasar malam or hawker center. Definitely have to eat along with the sambal. So by the time you finish the food, you will be drench in sweat.
The food comes in the price of ONLY RM5.50 for the whole big portion. Without extra rice RM5. Normal means with fried rice and chicken RM4.50. Definitely worth the deal if you are looking for budget food.

Location: In between Wisma Genting and Wisma Cosway in KL nearby Pavilion overhead bridge.

We have seen the poster for quite sometime already. Then 6 of us decided to have lunch over there yesterday since its only RM 10. It includes a soup, main dish, fruits and a drink. Not many choice they have but then we are their 1st customer of the day.

The soup that they serve is like what I rate it ‘Ajinomoto’ Soup. It has lil cabbage, tomato pieces. Taste watery.
The best food among the rest would be this spaghetti. Taste like Olio spaghetti. Has strong aroma of tomato and lil of basil flavour. The garlic bread is nice, nicely baked.
The Rafflesia Chicken Curry, it taste not bad, the chicken is tender and curry is welled cook, can taste its not chicken curry powder type. Just that if it is serve hot instead warm, it would be nice. Wish they can reheat the food. hehe
This is Borneo Beef Stew, sounds nice, I have no idea how it taste cuz I cant take beef. They said its so so only.

When paying the bill, it makes us frustrated abit as it was written on the banner and the menu saying RM 10 nett, so everyone of us already got our RM 10 out and when the bill came it included 5% service tax. WTF..have to prepare some coins. If it stated RM 10 nett, they should already include the 5% tax. Why separate? Can’t just they round it up. Aiii…..
