One of the latest cafe in KL is this Kanteen’s Coffee Bar at Mont Kiara. A cafe that replacing the lot that used to be Wendy’s Mont Kiara. However after I google about this place, it seems that they might have another branch call Kanteen at Plaza Damas too. Not too sure is it related.

A cafe that is nicely design with its cozy interior. With the coffee counter that looks like the 70’s design that catch most of everyone’s attention.

Planned to hit here for brunch and after read most of the reviews, we decided to leave it and only try coffee and cakes.

Pistachio Butter Cake @ RM 17. Buffer cake spongue is soft and airy. First few bites with the pistachio cream n nuts are nice. After a few more bites find the cream oily (could be too much butter or wrong mixture of the ingredients)

Cinnamon Doughnut @ RM 3.50 – dough is too dense.

Cafe Latte @ RM 10 – not too bad if you want to get your quick fix of coffee.

They have just operate less than 2 months if I am not mistaken. Food wise maybe will come back to try it out few months later.

Indeed will be a great place to chill out for a cuppa with friends. For Coffee, I would prefer this place which is just down the road.

What’s On Tap which is currently one of my favourite coffee place.
