They are well know for their Claypot bak kut teh style but Neo said, he prefer it to be serve in individual bowls. You get to taste the best of the soup and the quality of meat. So 4 of us and he ordered nearly all the parts of the pork.

It is indeed very satisfying, as I love the taste of the soup. Punch with flavour as they are thicker in taste, not only that which is also slightly more on the herbs taste. You can taste the tong guai abit more prominet that gives you the sourish bitter end.

Pork meat is soft, tender and juicy. Since after that day, I came back and tapau 2 rounds whenver I pass by.

Pandamaran Bak Kut Teh

Best of all, the soup is refillable.

Price point, refer to the picture with auntie above as I did not make payment that day.  But my tapau 2 rounds easily cost RM 38 for 2 pax. which I order cham cham.

When foodie mention certain food, it will instantly connect you to that state. No exception for Bak Kut Teh where it will automatically connect you to Klang. One of the recent try out is this classic brand Restaurant Mo Sang Kor Bak Kut Teh that operate in Taman Bekerly is actually one of a brunch from the other side. This branch is operate by one of the brother and was told by Ken this outlet serve the best version.

The owner is camera shy and was told that usually the shop closes about 10.30 and we were lucky that day as this was the last pot.

Their type of serving of pork parts is definately different and as the waiter put the bowl onto the table, the smell of it just makes us instantly hungry.

Mo sang Kor (6)

I love every single part of the pork version where the fats is pack with flavours, yet melt in your mouth. Main meat is soft enough where the version of siew yuk is slightly chewy yet not too soft to my liking. Their soup base is slightly thicker yet pack with slightly stronger herb taste that I have always prefer. Soup can only refill once therefore becarefull with the soup and drink it with care.

Among a few BKT that I have tried, this shop definitely hit the top spot in my list if I were to recommend a nice BKT. Will definitely come back again if I can wake up that early.

Klang is another town that is pack with great food. Just done a photoshoot in the morning and suddenly thought of why not we have breakfast at Klang with their famous Bak Kut Teh. Of course Rif and Sue Lynn then bring me to one of their favourite place, Restaurant Chow Kiat.

Klang Bkt (1)

Restaurant Chow Kiat is one of a famous Bak Kut Teh place that is pretty well known to the folks around the area. Most of them are regular and every one in Klang speaks Hokkien.

For this shop, they are famous for their big bone and also chicken feet.

Klang Bkt (4)

Klang Bkt (5)

Its a place which is pack with families and mature folks. Alot of them do bring their own tea leaves for their drinking pleasure while eating their pippin hot Bak Kut Teh.

Klang Bkt (6)

This is our Big Bone with a great amount of fats and also meat is super soft. Another bowl is a well balance of meat and fats.

Klang Bkt (7)

Lets eat. Classic Bak Kut Teh Style in this ship is by serving a small bowl with limited soup in it. Best of all is a free refill of soup where you can keep on requesting. Soup is slightly clear and taste of mild herbs and dark soy sauce is there (or I might be wrong) as I have stronger palate for my Bak Kut Teh where I need it pack with herbal taste. (this do not really apply in Klang area)

Klang Bkt (8)

I would advise you to reach before 9am as by the time we reach at 9am, most of the parts that we wanted were gone, and we were lucky to enjoy these last 2 pieces of bone.
