AT LAST I manage to find back this western food stall which were located beside Green House Kopitiam, which my friend introduce to me famous for its Corden Bleu…Then let my friend kutuk me saying I outdate, they have been here for quite some time d.

Their kitchen looks more like a good western food stall already.

This is their menu with limited choice to choose from and those in red are consider their signature. They have slightly increase in price which I think is reasonable as the last time I dine was bout 6 years ago. Lol

Again I ordered ‘Mushroom Soup’. Which the price thought of just try la… Very nice and creamy, quite alot of mushroom slice in there as every scoop you took up there will be mushroom in there. RM4 only.

The next order was ‘Ribeye Steak’ medium rare. I got shock when the portion was serve. I am like ‘wowwww, so big piece punya lembu’.. I cant take beef so no comment on this as I get to know this is one of the nicest also mention by my friend as not many hawker area western food can cook something out like this. RM19.50 for this fat ribeye.

This is of course my favourite back in those donkey days. So I ordered back the same thing. ‘Chicken Corden Bleu’. When got served I was quite happy with the condition, as expected dry and golden brown. Once I use my knife cut it open, the cheeze in there start flowing out, you know like those water overflow, someting like that. It is stuff with ham and cheeze. With the first mouth into this mouth watering bleu, it just taste as nice as back in those days. Still have not dissapoint me after last ate it. Still have the cheeze taste yet you can still taste the ham and chicken with the strong aroma after being stuff in there and fried. Cost RM9 which I think is reasonable. The last time I ate was RM6.50 6 years back.

Usually I always stop by at Tapah and Restaurant Jejantas for a pee or eat or drink. This round try on Kajang Satay over here as always do not know how to get to Kajang and don know which stall is nice. So since it is packed with people, join lah the crowd. This was my 2nd visit to this stall. 1st time was very satisfying.

This round I ordered 5xChicken the normal chicken satay that every one would order. Taste good with its own marinated sauce and the satay meat is soft.

5xDeer meat is abit hard like chewing a bubble gam and only can swallow. quite disappointed for this at this time.

5x lamb is so so this time also. The meat that they used was not as nice as last time and alot of burn also. Quite disappointed for this round maybe was different people pangang it.

Actually satay one of the most important thing to make it nice also is the gravy. This 1 is very nice. Full with peanuts and the sauce that they use is nice compare what I have eat so far. For the GRAVY only.

Total Bill comes to RM14. Can say that the food in here no QC. 1st time very good 2nd time ok ok.

It has been years since I last visited Steven’s corner. Let me count back. It was during my college times, so it will be around 5 years ago was one of our favourite hang out area for me and my housemates. Decided to go back here because totally miss the ‘Burung and Cheeze nan’ after so long long time whereby how we crave for it last time was when I sleep through the mid night then woke up in the middle of the night hungry, then wake up housemate up, told him ‘kia liau!!, we go eat at Steven’s Corner’ was so in form that drove from Subang to here, then eat eat eat then go all the way back.. lol…those were the days…
I totally forgot to take the picture of the ‘Fried Burung. Next round maybe.
By returning here for dinner and seeing alot of tables ordering western food which I never tried before and decided to give it a go. We ordered Chicken Chop it ended up coming Black Paper Chicken. Double confirm with that guy again, he said it is Chicken Chop..Then I am like harrr…..okay~ weird..
The ‘chicken chop a.k.a black paper chicken’ is highly recommended by me. It totally taste very nice, with quite strong taste of black paper, the chips is nicely fried whereby you dip it with the gravy and put it on the bread (Self recipe combo) goes along very well. The bread was toasted with butter and nice smell and crispy if you eat it fast.
This definately my favourite. Mozarella Cheeze’ Nan. It is just like eating pizza, when you pull it, you can see the strings of the cheezee pulling up like springs, just forgot to take the pic of it, just knowing eating it and enjoying it.

Nahh…there…youu see the cheezee…tempting and cheeze dripping.

This is what I decided to try out, Nasi Goreng Kambing’. Taste like normal fried rice and the Kambing meat is so hard. It is so hard to chew and swallow. Overcooked. Have eaten much nicer Nasi Goreng Kambing.

The ‘Satay’ seems like alot of people there are ordering it. So follow the crowd. To me personally I would not recommend it. Alot of fats on the chicken satay and the mutton satay is too hard. Overcooked again. The gravy is abit watery. Do not really taste nice. Overall for this satay, 5/10.
