The Press Room @ Bangsar Shopping Mall

Another new discovery for me as I seldom come to this Bangsar Shopping Mall. First discovery was a dining outlet next to this, WIP is pretty good and worth recommended the now after being invited to Nokia 501 Asha Launch with dinner incuded, I must say the 3 course meal of food quality is quite impressive at The Press Room.

Pressroom is an interpretation of a vintage European brasserie. The emphasis is on simple Anglo-French brasserie food made from the finest ingredients.

Love the ambiance, as its interior is modern European style.

Since there are 2 of us so I order 2 different sets of dinner.

I have never put any expectation in this dining as usually the food catering is pretty let down and start off with Pumpkin Soup. I must say I am suprise with how good this soup is. Slightly thick and creamy that good enough with well balance of taste. Not too strong or thick with pumpkin and well mixture of little cream that they are using. It was gone within seconds. One of the best pumpkin soup I can come acorross in KL.

Casear Salad is pretty decent.

Pan Fried Sea Bass with Spiced Chick Peas and Tomato Ragout. Fish is freash and being pan fried to perfection that the skin is slighlty crips with mild salted end along with fish meat is soft. Season spices chick peas pairs well with tomato ragout and fish. I put 3 of the ingredient onto my fish that burst in flavours. Loving it.

Grass Fed Rib Eye with Mixed Salad and Black Pepper Sauce

For such a place, I never thought that the Rib Eye is awesome. Soft and juicy. Serve medium and top into our list too for steak now.

For Carrot Cake, its one of the best I have come across, moist enough, not too dry and the icing is not to sweet. Perfect to eat along with a good coffee

Latte for the end of the meal.

For a nice dining or catch up with friend, this outlet had fallen into my recommended list also. Price are reasonable. Easily RM 40-RM100 per head depending on what you are ordering.

Nokia Asha 501 Launch

How many of you do remember this brand before another 2 take the big wave? 10-15 years ago, I am sure many of you own the solid and very reliable phone Nokia 3310. Well, I was recently invited for a launch of their new basic range of smartphone and I must say we were rather impress with the quality, pricing and platform.

On that night, the launch took place at Pressroom at Bangsar Shopping Center.

Moments later when the event start, we were introduce to their latest range of entry level of smart phone, Nokia Asha 501 that lead by the Head of Marketing for the brief.

The Nokia Asha 501 makes high-end design, elegance and quality accessible to more people that comes in 6 striking colour. This phone was design to cater the needs of people that a touch away to access everything they love with a simple swipe and a back button.

The new Asha comes with Nokia Xpress Browser pre-loaded, which compress Internet data by up to 90% also its their first smart phone range to be build on their new Asha Platform with one of a company that they acquire in year 2012.

those are the colourful 6 colour that they have manufacture out, and guess how much would this pocket smart phone is. RM 299. Yap, for RM299 I would say its quite an impressive phone.

Not only that, the most impressive about this phone is their standby time, which is 48 hours for a smartphone. Full talk time is estimated about 12 hours & dual sim. Great battery life!

It would be available by end of June with only Yellow, Bright Red & Black follow by White, Cyan and Green will be available later.

and if you actually listen to their lyric correctly, they are actually promoting new features of up coming phone that will be available in the market on very soon, which many user are looking forward to change their phone and hands on this new unit.

Yap, that is right. Many of you have seen and what you heard from the previous launch in US weeks ago and  they are actually singing and dancing with tunes of new upcoming Samsung GAlaxy S4 – Life Companion features. Arent they cute. One person one cute face.

Hennessy KYRIOS Party @ The Butter Factory, KL

Last weekend, kick start my first Hennessy Event of the year by attending the launch of Hennessy Kyrios at one of the hottest club in KL, Butter Factory. I got to know Butter Factory is a very popular club in Singapore till last year they extended their wings to KL.

THE BUTTER FACTORY KL is one club that is not afraid to get creative with their themed parties and also with their music policy, artfully blending Hip Hop R&B with commercial dance music and addictive electro beats.

As we walk in, we are greeted with some sprinkle of golden dusk by the crew then a showcase of what Hennessy Kyrios looks like.This bottle is actually their 3rd limited edition bottle in the series, followed by Hennessy Helios & Hennessy NYX. So as for this bottle, it is design with dark black colour.

Puma Launches “Evolution Suede” #forthestreet @ Whitebox, Publika

Recently Puma launches its Suede 45th year with 8 special personalities team up to unleash the Future of Suede 2058 at Black Box Publika. At that evening, we get to so many public figure like Ben from Fly FM, Jin from JinnyboyTV, dance groups Elecoldxhot & Kartoon Network, and TV host, Rina Omar and most of them are Puma Ambassador.

I love shoes and as I seen the display on their latest collection of their Suede I am loving it. We were early that night and manage to take a few shots first before entering into main hall..

 AS  mention, Puma team up with 8 individuals to come out different subcultures to design their interpretation of the 2059 Suede.
1) Juice duo, Miranda Yeoh & Kevin Yeoh that featuring the design with CYMK pallete
2) Redd Bullets photographer duo, Julian Oh & Carolyn Chon blending their idea with soft texture, combination of fabrics and use prints as the finishing.
3) Newba, a grafitti writer & Twilight Action Girl, Hip hop artist more towards graffiti style
4) Andrew T Crum, Artist, & Sueann Chong, fashion director of    Hanger magazine by creating colourful design  that emphasize on the global issue ” carbon footprint”

The main highlight of the party was the four eight-feet 2058 Future Suede that were envisioned and designed by eight individuals from different subcultures. After an evolution of dance routine by Elecoldxhot, Andrew T Crum, Sueann Chong, Miranda Yeoh, Twilight Action Girl, and Newba, the eight-feet 2058 Future Suede designers, were called upon to share the inspiration behind their designs.

These 4 special design giant Suede will be exhibited at Publika from 28th Feb to 11th March.

Not only that, as that night, we have ‘Evolution of Suede Instagram Contest’ going on which is actually launch to public to post pictures of their personal collection of Suede or check out their iconic props available in PUMA outlets and snap it. Follow by hastag #forthestreet #my then tag @Puma as the most creative picture will walk away with a pair of new Suede. Looking at the new cool pair of shoe, all of us were so motivated and busy taking pictures and insta at that night. I submitted two pictures. . as above picture 1.
