Surau facilities are available for Muslim guests as well as ample parking.

For reservations, call Cinnamon Coffee House at 603 7681 1157.

One of the coffee shop or kopitiam that I used to visit very often is Lee Huat Cafe that had been here that make its name to many Penang people on the good food for breakfast. The place open as early as 6am with 50% of the stall already start operating and the rest slowly starting off. By 7.30am most of the stall would have been operating.

Most of the stalls here are pretty well known for its good taste and quality. Of course there are a few ones that are more famous.

Lee Huat (1)

Well, it had been ages since I last visited this place which I think more than 10 years ago. So before heading our journey to Cameron Highlands my friends they all decided to stop by here for breakfast. Reach here about 6.30am

Lee Huat (2)

Well, of course Penangnites doesnt wake up that early as this is what we can expect the whole kopitiam to be pretty empty.

Lee Huat (3)

Many options are available and depends what kind of food you prefer in early morning. .

Lee Huat (4)

Still after all these  years, Curry Mee still one of the famous one that will be super busy as the sun is rising.

Lee Huat (5)

Lee Huat (6)

One of the items that not many places you can find this any more which is Oyster Porridge used to be very famous also as I am not too sure about now ..

Lee Huat (7)

The rest order Chicken Rice in such early morning. . Siau liau . . RM 4

Lee Huat (8)

Turns out to be pretty good though with the chicken meat is moist and aromatic and the skin is pretty good, not really a white rice as it had been cook along with a bit of chicken oil.

Lee Huat (9)

This is what I have for my breakfast, normal toast and half boil egg with a cup of hot Kopi . .

Lee Huat (10)

Loh Mee turns out to be good too with its gravy meant to be starchy and thick, add on with the sambal makes it more perfect.

Lee Huat (11)

I still love Penang version of Wantan Mee because comes with fried wanton along. Noodle is quite springy that makes it no comment and of course lots of char siew would be good. . .

I sure do not mind wake up early and come try other items in this Kopitiam again. . .Hmmm . . I think I should do it again . .:D, for travellers if you are looking for some hawker center to eat for breakfast, certainly here would be one of the place to recommend. 🙂

Parking is very limited around the area and happy hunting for parking space.

The Apartment is not like a new development or project that is upcoming. A place that had been establish with very homey concept as The Apartment was named. Understand that many of us dine outside after work very often as the outlet aims to provids a casual, comforting home dining experience set in a modern apartment-like restaurant setting that is located at The Curve shopping mall.

the apt (2)

With their cozy environment, I used to hang out here with my friend for drinks on weekends as they play great soft music as background music and perfect place to chill and chat.

the apt (4)

It is exactly like a house as this is one of the few sections I love to be seated around as I called it living room area or bed room style located one floor up.

the apt (5)

A simple DJ deck area to spin off some music. I guess we can be DJ ourselves too, by doing a mixture at home, plug and play here. :p

the apt (3)

For special functions or private events, definitely wound be one of the place to consider as can easily cater quite a crowd with their huge dining space.

the apt (6)

the apt (7)

the apt (8)

the apt (9)

Ever dine before in your bathroom? Hehe, they do have a bathroom dining concept here too.

the apt (10)

the apt (11)

Okay, lets start off with what The Apartment have to offer and for the month of April, the have something special inhouse as currently they are doing The Chef Series that feature special serving of deep sea delicacies themed menu Unlimited Flavours Of The Ocean. They will be featuring in 2 parts as for Part 1 which is in April and Part 2 is on May.

the apt (12)

A flavorful Oyster Shot that prepare in shot glass to give you the after pleasure. I was told not to use spoon to dig up instead I just have to eat the whole thing like drinking a shot. Being a good follower I just follow and I am amaze on how the taste blend in. A bit sweet and sour from the mango, oyster is fresh that the after taste is fresh and refreshing. I do not mind to have another 2-3 more shots. 😀  RM11.90

the apt (15)

Next is the steak which is prepare medium well that comes to my liking and for the first time I see a steak pair with prawns mixture with  au jus, garlic, chillies, honey glazed tiger prawns & mash. Surf ‘n’ Turf is one of the latest addition to the menu.

the apt (16)

Almond Crusted Cod is one of my favourite for the night. Cod is very soft and fresh, with a gentle cut in between it just open instantly. Almond was fried crispy and brings the aroma out of it, cook along with some clams make it sweet and a bit sourish taste of tomato that makes the taste perfectly good! I just drink the soup base till dry. The cod nevertheless was being attack and gone within seconds. – Highly Recommended!

the apt (17)

Red Snapper @ RM39.90

the apt (18)

Pan fried red snapper with couscous and lemon butter reduction is one of the dish that suits most of our local people here as one of the reason I am saying this is most of our locals love to have their meals with rice. Therefore a simple pan fried fresh snapper and pair along with flavorful rice is good~

the apt (19)

Stuffed Squid is heading towards more of our local taste, a bit spicy on the end yet juicy squid being stuff with risotto to make it solid and goes along with the gravy. Every one just loves it. @ RM25.90

the apt (13)

Another dish that I like is Jamie’s Duck Pasta that brings you Fettuccine with shredded slow-roasted duck and tomato red wine ragout, topped with toasted pine nuts. Not many places that can cook this well especially with duck involve, and they have make it good with slices of duck meat cook along with red wine and the tomato taste just did not over power everything. Highly Recommended!

the apt (20)

Looking for something not so complicated then go for Tossed Pasta Plain is very simple yet flavourful as some of them just like their portion with lots of chili flakes. Too much will make your tongue numb yet its nice. 😀

the apt (21)

Prawn Capellini with tiger prawns, lemon zest, olive oil and marjoram.

the apt (22)

English Lamb Curry is another new addition to the menu. They are being generous with the lamb as its quite a big piece for a portion like that, well marinated and cook till the lamb is soft and serve along with special briyani, egg, carrot raita (yoghurt) and cashew nuts.  – Recommended!

the apt (23)

After great main dish on the table and it always have to get something sweet as ending and comes with Creme Brulee that is perfectly burn on the top to make a fine thin crips while your spoon poke upon it gives you a crack sound after that. Top with a scoop of ice cream and pretty good enough to make the sweet ending.@ RM13.90

the apt (24)

A desert that reflect much on our local delicacies as this  Buah Melaka Desert serve  palm sugar dumpling served and coconut ice cream @ RM12.90

the apt (25)

Premium Dark Chocolate Cake & Banana Pecan Cake

the apt (26)

It used to be a hype on Red Velvet Cake and I have only tried once so far and this would consider the second time. I love this piece more with the texture of the cake is nice and the two cheeze layer is being put with the right amount that does not give you the feel of too much and strawberry dressing pairs it well. – recommneded

the apt (27)

For those who loves chocolate alot then you would not want to miss this Chocolate Mousse

the apt (28)

When this Baked Chocolate Pudding, every one’s eye was set on it and had make this desert super star for the night with its oozing chocolate syrup flow out along and with a scoop of ice cream being serve along and it is being freshly done from the oven and serve piping hot as upon this order you would have to wait for 15-20 minutes to get it. It was all worth the wait. I certainly would love to have this desert all by myself! not going to share! – Highly Recommended!

the apt (29)

For those of you prefer something not that sweet then this slice definately suits your taste bud as Homemade Carrot Cake served with mascarpone cream and carrot syrup.

Part 1 of the special menu going to finish soon and I just cant wait for part 2 on chef’s special.
