Movie Review: John Carter, This Means War & the Devil Inside

I would say John Carter is another great fantasy movie, or another movie like Star Wars, that there is this guy that were so good in commanding an army and got devastated when lost wife and daughter in a fire blaze. Then his life direction had change where to hunt for gold mine. Half way thru, he found some what a person like god had a Mendelian that transported him to Mars.

There is where the whole adventure begins, with some creature like talking and some other character. I would say its a good movie and I have seen many good reviews encourage to watch in 3-D as I am considering to watch it in 3-D another round.

If you have a hectic week or stress week, looking forward to cheer you up, I guess this movie This Means War could cheer you up alot. A romance comedy flick that brings you alot of laughter on how 2 guys coincidentally going after a girl without them realizing.

the trick is may the best man win the girls heart.

Genre: Horror/ Thriller

Another movie flick that film using video recorder style. Pretty headache and something similiar like that Paranormal Activity style. AS this movie talk about body being posses.

In the end of the movie every one died. That’s all. Don bother watching and its pretty boring.

This movie was about, Gerard Butler had not been in a good shape after divorce with Jennifer Aniston and from police force he quit to become a bounty hunter. Only he learn that his next target was his wife, that had skip court hearing and order to be capture, as Jennifer skip the court hearing to follow a lead on a murder case. Then both of them are on their adventure journey.

This is what is all about love-hate relationship. Not a bad movie after all and thanks to Xin for the ticket.

Korean Drama – Pasta

I never thought that, I would get addicted to this show, I guess any drama series related to cooking/food or dance I would always never miss it, in any language as long as I can understand I would not miss it.

For those who had been following me on my tweeter or as my Facebook friends, that I have been craving for Italian food recently, the cause and damage of it was from this movie that my friend had send me, as she said since I love food, why not watch this series.

This show is more on romance as it was about a dream of a young woman that dreams to become the elite chef of La Sfera restaurant and work hard on her way up. Of course, love happens when the restaurant hire a new chef that had vast experience from Italy that had made him one of the recognize chef in Korea. This is where the love spark started.

This movie also constantly makes me crave for Italian food because of the way of the food presentation and also its in fine dining concept yet also makes me consider going back into relationship, with the assistant young chef innocent and shy look. Lol~
If you love food, then this movie would definitely worth a watch.

Remark: if you crave of Italian food, please do not blame me.

Treasure Hunter

Some people told that this movie is so so only, well, to me its not a bad movie as maybe I did not put any expectation to watch it.

The movie is about Jay Chow protecting all the artifacts and return it to the rightful owner and till his mentor gave him a treasure map which was believe buried one of the most legend or myth that been hunting by a lot of people and Chi Ling dad died because of the map while the daughter got kidnap and Jay Chou got the map to exchange with Chi Ling and there the adventure begins.

This movie gives me the feeling of ‘Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider and The Mummy’ combine to come out with this movie with the effect.

The movie can be watch on movie day or DVD.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. When I read the synopsis, then directly thought of the show that Andy Lau acted years back whereby he wanted to grow mature more faster and took a potion that makes him live in the world for the next 3 days and ages very fast.
Well, this movie had the other effect which is Brad Pitt was born old and aged backwards. From old to young. I must not denied that the movie is very good, with their make up of Brad Pitt being very old, mature and success, teenage time and baby time.
The movie is like a story telling type whereby talk from how he got bored and till he is dead by the lover in Brad Pitt’s diary. Nice romance and touching part and of course not to be missed out is where Brad Pitt in his teenage look. I must say that he sure do look good and ‘Yeng‘ as a guy I was impressed also like the few girls sitting behind me.. liked ‘Aiyooo, OMG!!!he really look so yeng(good)’ I am in loved with him…I was like WTF are they overreacting ah? but not only them, after telling to my friends they were like also the same reaction..lol~ cut the whole thing short, you must watch this movie.
Cut the whole thing short, you must watch this movie for people who loves drama, even more highly recommended.
