TTDI is one of the area that are quite well known for F&B, with bars kick start the whole scene back in those days and now coffee are popping out so fast. One of the latest addition to the area is Pickle & Fig that is located at another side of TTDI. Sitting alone at the area would create an advantage for them with many offices are around the area.

Its a simple decorated area with simen base decor all over the place with wooden chairs and pallet.

 Menu is not huge but there is a good mixture of healthy stuff. . .

Pickle & Fig was meant to start up their business that specialize in healthy smoothies, then only realise that, with the space they have gotten, they can expand their range of offerings to sandwiches and panini.

 Gotten ourselves to try out their smoothies and find that its pretty good some of them.

Blue Healer which includes the blueberry, blackberry, banana, and apple @ RM 10 .  Goji Me which is a combination of strawberry, goji, apple, pineapple, and yogurt @ RM 12. This 2 flavor are more intense and some might like it.

Overall their range of smoothies is pretty interesting by using pure ingredients to be added on.

Nachos @ RM 12, there is round tortilla chips and melted cheddar with sliced black olives and japapeno slices with salsa roja.

For something healthy, we can opt for their Avocado mixed green with raspberry vinaigrettesliced avocado, and toasted almonds with raspberry vinaigrette. @  RM13

I love their Coronation Chicken Sandwich Sliced chicken breast, caramelised onion, raisins coronation sauce, alfafa sprout on ciabatta. @ RM15

 WE have been told by the owner that all the sauces are made fresh and from their very own recipe.

we gave them alot of feedback on this and surely when they put into their menu will be something to look forward as the sauces are good.

I am impress on they learn to do the whole coffee themselves and with proper frothing its pretty good. The coffee here is not too strong, a bit mild and well balance.

Grand Dorsett is located in Subang which is one of a 5 star hotel smack right in Subang with 15 minutes drive away from the Subang Airport. After they have refurbish the hotel, this is my first time back to this Grand Dorsett Hotel Subang again and this round we get to sample their afternoon high tea at Dorsett’s Aroma Cafe which is featuring Malaysian delicacies. .

Dinner we choose to dine in The Emperor is because of their track record by winning a few awards, one of it is Malaysia’s Best Restaurant Award .. .

It is quite impressive that this is the first time I experience a restaurant with a design of a connecting bridge over to the dining area  .. .

“Har Kow” or Prawn dumplings, Siew Mai, Charcoal Custard bun

This is certainly one of my favourite with the bun is soft and I just love how the custard just ooze out from the bun, just beware, do not eat it while it is served, as let it cool down . The custard sauce with burn your tongue. .

Xiu Long Bao is served with a bit of ebiko on top and the soup in it just juicy and aromatic with its chicken flavour. Dip with vinegar and insert some ginger is just perfect.

Fresh meat cover in some fruit salad dressing which is juicy from every bite and best is also served along with chicken salami.

Bean curd with Asparagus, just love this dish alot, as it was perfectly fried with a bit crips all over and its very soft inside, when you have a bite together with the mushroom, the taste is just perfect!
