Ramlee Burger @ Jalan Maharajarela, KL

I have always been hunting for good Ramlee Burger to eat. Last week when I was hungry and I drove around then thought of 7-11 to get instant noodle. Then mana tau, let me saw this burger stall and this 7-11 as I know the 1 at Jln Imbi there under Otai never really fancy that. Then with quite a number of ppl waiting, then just try la..hungry like hell!

This is how the stall looks like outside the 7-11.

The taukeh pretending to be busy as previously trying to post for me..Lol, then I requested pretend bz. So this is how he come out with. But seriously, he talked a lot. Quite a very friendly guy. Ask him lots of question also.
Then saw this special black pepper sauce which after he friend and dip into, looks good lei~ then he mention that, this is his special sauce. Then he and his partner also trying doing some combination at the moment trying to improve the taste of black pepper sauce and also would come out some different dressing soon. (looking forward on that)


The normal order ‘Sausage Plain’ which order by other customer and I saja took on it.

When he done this, so dammmmmm tempting ‘Double Beef Plain’ also for other customer. When I look at this I was like GULPPP..wish to had that but I cant take beef.
Then comes my order, the usual order ‘Burger Special + Cheeze‘. During my first bite of this burger, I was like, YESSS!!! at last I found one burger stall that really nice to eat besides the 1 in Section 14 in front of 7-11 also. This burger is juicy with the sauces, which blend the aroma of egg and cheese very very well. I just finish the burger within minutes. At the end of it, was like finger lickin good and YESSS I am satisfied!~ With onli RM4.80 and a coke after it. Haizzz…good to sleeep after that. 🙂
Before I was leaving, they ask me, am I a reporter… I say no lahhhh.. I am a food hunter..lol, then they ask me to take their pic. Which the taukeh.. sitting down and the guy behind is his assistant. Friendly ppl just talk that would not stop. The girls in front?? *ahemm.. I think its their gf qua.
For me, of course looking forward to go back and eat again!

Pos Burger @ Lebuhraya Jelutong,Penang

I have try so many burger in KL and still cannot compare to Penang Burger stall. The weird thing in KL was their burger special is egg only. Why they don call it burger Egg. In Penang Burger special is everything, with cheeze and egg.
This is one of the big time favourite of mine for Ramlee burger. You have to wait for quite some time and it is worth all the waiting as after you eat the burger you will ‘Wah…Satisfied’
You can also called up and pre order and go 15-30 mins later to pick up. This is the best way to do it.

This is the burger stall infront of the Jelutong Post Office that is why it is called Pos Burger. The business is always very good, whereby there is none that you go and will be your turn. Always have to wait.

What is so special about this burger stall compare to the rest was they have their very own potato salad and their own mix of vegies. That is why it is much special compare to the rest.

Tadaaa..this is my very own personal favourite that I always order, ‘Burger Special with Sausage’. RM 4.80 for this. The taste is with black peeper and some mayonnaise with less SOS. That makes the whole burger very juicy.

If you do go to Penang and hunt for food at night, this stall would be highly recommended by me.

Char Koey Teow @ Jalan Raja Gopal,Penang

It has been ages since last I came here, it was during my college here and used to hang out here for tea time as I was studying at Disted College during year 2001. Calculations come out around 8 years since last I visit this place. It was the ah pek Char koey Teow still the same person. Luckily was not closed. This place is what we called ‘Chiu Chang Ka‘, direct translation Under the Tree located at Pulau Tikus area.
This is the stall that stay at the same place for the past donkey years. One good thing about this stall is he uses charcoal to fried it is always better to those than using gas, fried by one plate at the time. The special about this uncle stall is he uses Duck egg, upon request. Must try it. Taste much better.
Tadaa, this is the uncle ‘Char Koey Teow with duck egg’. Have the wok taste, nicely fried and not too dry yet the si ham is alot, with chinese sausage and only RM3.50.
After leaving Penang for not too long, and I ordered Teh O Ice, and guess how much is it, Only RM0.90. Wow, didnt know still exist with this kind of pricing and the funny thing is when the lady come and told me its RM0.90, then I like ‘Hah, 90cents ah’. she like yeah la, you come out from hutan or too long never come out eat already iziit. Lol..It has been long long time since pay for a drink less than RM1.
This place also famous for Economy bee hoon with fried popiah on top, unfortunately it was closed that day, or I do not know still exist or not.
