In Kl, we certainly need wheels to move around often. On the road you can see some great ones that is still like brand new and some with the same series as ours, the colour already slowly worn out. I usually do take a good care of my ride, as I will hit on group buying site to purchase some random car polish voucher to polish twice a year. Once I click on those sites, my FB wall is filled with advertising of Ceramic Pro Nano Coating.

BOKA2378

It was only recently that I send my car to Ceramic Pro at Setia Alam Branch for Ceramic Pro Permanent Nano-Ceramic Paint Coating treatment for Gold Package. My car is about 5 years old as with this treatment, is to enhance the look and feel of it like brand new that will be lasting for about 7 years.

ceramic pro

Some of you might think what is Ceramic Pro? Is it another brand? In deed it is. (this will be quite technical)

It is a clear liquid nanoceramic coating that can be applied in multiple layers. After complete polymerization the solutions on the surface will transform into a permanent durable but flexible ceramic shield. It can be described as an additional clear coating with 3 times the hardness and self-cleaning properties. This special coatings are designed for automotive, marine, aviation and industrial applications with formulas that are molecularly designed for various surfaces such as paint, vinyl, polymers, glass and more.

gold package

Engaging into their Gold Package as it covers 6 layers of coating with 7 years warranty. Before dropping your car, you first need to make an appointment to ensure there is a slot for you as it is requires 1 full day from 9.30am – 5pm to complete the whole process.

As check out the workshop, the whole scene of this place do reminds me of Iron Man research lab.

If the package you purchase only cost you about a few hours of waiting time, then you can stay put behind while working in their waiting room. Fit with coffee and comfy chairs.

Step 1 – Car Wash & Clay Bar Process

First station, of course to get the car clean off from all the dirt’s through their in house car wash. Follow by a thorough claying process with a clay bar to remove all impurities before the paint correction.

2A. Before After (exterior)

2B. Before After (exterior)

3A. Before After (interior)

During this process, you can see the difference of before and after from the car body, bonnet and interior side board. It brings the original colour to life.

Step 2 – Paint Correction Stage (3 steps polish)

1A. Polishing

In this stage, it will be treated with an extensive paint correction through a three (3) step polishing process. With some micro scratches on the side door is all gone

Step 3 – Ceramic Pro spray coating application (exterior & interior)

4B. Spray Coating

4A. Spray Coating

4C. Spray Coating

At this stage, only the professional staff can apply the Ceramic Pro 9 coatings onto the different surfaces – body, rims, dashboard, leather seats, and remaining part of the car.

This layer of features of High Gloss finish, unmatched Super Hydrophobic Effect, Chemical Resistance, UV Resistance, Thermal Resistance and Anti-Grafitti. This puts Ceramic Pro in a category by itself, compared to sealants or waxes that degrade quickly.

raindrop

This is quite interesting as recently have been raining consistently and I was quite surprise to see the droplets of water on the roof of my car and only knew that it is from the super hydrophobic effect of the coating will cause water to bead up and roll of the surface with any dirt and grime easily. This coating also good that it offers superior protection from damaging contamination and harsh chemicals and especially if you accidentally park your car under a huge tree at 7pm where you come back 2 hours later your car got bomb!

Step 4 – Infrared Curing process

Before final stage my car underwent an infrared curing process to permanently bond the coatings to the surface of my car, ensuring that it will last at least 7 years.

With this process, it had made the surface more hard to above 9H, where our normal typical clear coat has hardness between 2H and 4H.

5A. Infrared Curing Treatment

The paint also won’t fade or age due to the UV protection in the Ceramic coating.

OK so exactly how does it work? This pretty amazing nano technology allows the Ceramic nanoparticles to fill the smallest pores in the paint which makes the Ceramic Pro ceramic shield shiny, smooth and extremely slick or hydrophobic. Ceramic Pro dramatically lowers the surface tension preventing environmental contaminants such as: bird droppings, bugs, dirt, tar and graffiti paint from bonding to the surface. Water easily removes dirt from the surface by encapsulating it while rolling off the surface, hence the “self-cleaning effect”.

Step 5 – Magnus Pro Paint Protection Film (PPF)

When I reach back to the shop, could not believe that the car had just transformed. The final product is pretty impressive as I am totally satisfied. The maintenance is straight forward whereby we just need to wash our car like how we normally do. The best part of now is that we do not need to wax. As it easily last about 7 years.

I was told by a few friends, Setia Alam is like a dead zone when it comes for good Chinese food. Most of the folks in this area will either go to Klang or Subang. Past weekend, my friend insisted I head over to Klang to find them and introduce me this Restaurant Xin See Foo Zai Seafood Village.

xin see foo zai (1)

This place is indeed hidden from the main road of residence area as it is operating behind the busy main street for the past 5 years. I would say its a hidden gem in Setia Alam. The chef had vast Chinese experience by learning from different chef by preserving and serve the best of his skills to us, diners with authentic strong flavours. He has 15 years of chef experience under his belt.

When you ask for menu? We are ask to look at the wall, as the people in this restaurant works differently. So ended up we ask what is the best or recommended dish.

xin see foo zai (6)

Start off with chef signature, Special Pork Ribs with marmite and special sauce mixture @ RM 38. Pork is marinated over hours, steam then fried. When it was serve on the table, the aroma trails around the table is gooooodd! Then you know that this is going to be good. The colour, the caramelization on the pork, the thick sauce and goeyness of it.

xin see foo zai (7)

A piece like this is heaven, soft, juicy, meat just tears apart easily and fats that melt in your mouth. Sauce is spot on and if this could mix with asam curry on my rice, it will be match made in heaven.

xin see foo zai (8)

This is very interesting and it reminds me of my childhood food that my grandma used to cook. It had been ages since I last taste such food. Fish with Black Bean Paste @ RM 32. Filled with wok hei, and just look at the topping of pork lard in this dish.

Fish is soft, fresh, aromatic as the flavour of dry chili, onions and eat it along with a cube of pork lard is just bursting with flavours in your mouth.

xin see foo zai (9)

xin see foo zai (10)

Everyone can cook veggie. A veggie that is stir fried with ‘wok hei’ is not an easy task yet preserving the greens that the Kai Lan is still crips and top with salted dry fish flavour that is not overpowering the sauce with hint of chili spicy at the end.

xin see foo zai (12)

This was a random order as there was only 3 of us, then we decided to order a fried rice. My friend in particular want a veggie fried rice and it turns out to be one of a top fried rice in our list. The rice is punch with ‘wok hei’ , love the rice that is so dry and we wallop the whole plate till it clean like a new wash plate.

It had been ages since I last had a very good “tai chow” place and this certainly top in my recommended list. We will definitely be back with more friends to try it out. Could it be one of the best Chinese Restaurant in Setia Alam? Shall let you guys vote it out.

Time just flies. Neither did I realize that it was exactly a year ago since this marathon and of course its a marathon that I am looking forward for. Last year got chosen to be one of the influencer for Puma Night Run Cat Club.

Puma (1)

As for this year PUMA unveiled its most responsive shoe a few days before the run as this PWRCOOL version is packed with thermo-regulation technology that helps keep the body at an optimal temperature thus preserving energy.

Worn by the World’s Fastest Man, Usain Bolt, the PWRCOOL features superior cushioning material that disperses impact forces, while providing optimal responsiveness and energy return to make the everyday runner faster.

PWRCOOL footwear products feature a ComfortTemp tongue liner to regulate body temperature. The shoe’s minimal upper design offers lightweight flexibility and an incredibly comfortable fit.

Puma (2) The PWRCOOL is designed to keep the comfort of the athlete in mind. Athletes are kept comfortable in hot weather conditions, allowing them to maximise their workouts. In line with our Forever Faster mantra.

Puma (3)

Puma (4)

On the actual run day itself, the whole field of Setia Alam Convention Center is turn into a mini carnival area with Puma massive logo all around the place.

Puma (5)

Official first group run starts at 7.30pm and runners are already flocking into this place as early as 4pm.

Puma (6)

This year, race kit including Puma run shirt, wrist band and a pair of socks.

Puma (7)

Puma (8)

Puma (9)

This is the latest addition fun area that they have added in. Puma own addition of American Ninja track.

Puma (10)

Puma (11)

With a few performances lining up, this cool duo caught my attention the most as the kid beat boxing along with him. Right after that follow with warm up session.

Puma (12)

Puma (13)

When the race about flag off, the weather do not look promising.

Puma (14)

Puma (15)

Not long after that, it was raining like cats and dog. Then the race was cancel moments after that for safety reason as the down pour was so heavy along with heavy thunder storm.

Puma (16)

Oh well, will look forward for next year then.

All of us we know that when we crave for Bak Kut Teh, the first location that pop into our mind is Klang or some where in Kuala Lumpur, never did it ever cross my mind that a new township that build by SP Setia at Shah Alam which is the new upcoming area that had attracted some restaurant to be operated around the area. Fang Xiang Bak Kut Teh

Restaurant Fang Xiang Bak Kut Teh is one of the new restaurant that had been operate in the area for just less than 2 weeks yet had attracted quite a number of crowd to the place, one great thing at this restaurant is that they operate long hours from early morning till night. The place is fairly easy to be sighted as you travel along NKVE highway towards Klang and will see Tesco Setia Alam and with one of the big sign board, that would be the restaurant.

fang xiang (1)

With a cartoon girl on the signage, there is a reason behind it and there are ample of parking space.

fang xiang (2)

As the restaurant is still new, future expension is under consideration as currently the whole restaurant, smoking is allow.

fang xiang (3)

With many parts of pork to choose from, and they sure do have one of their signature pork is one part that must order!

fang xiang (4)

This is our order, for da day . .. They served by bowl and limited soups is available as the owner had cook more than 100 times to get it right and also by trail and error, most important is the customer feedback given to them that had made her own style of bak kut teh out. The soup served here is very mild in taste, not too watery.

fang xiang (6)

As some of the customer loves ‘Tau Pok’ and for this restaurant, they are giving it complimentary.

fang xiang (10)

Yau Mak veggie with fried garlic.

fang xiang (7)

Go Hui meat which lies in between spine bones and ribs. The meat in this part is soft with fork poking through it easily split out that is sitted by the side of the bone.

fang xiang (8)

The pork belly meat (Sam Chan Bak) lives up to my expecation that cook till soft and thin layer of fats at the top of the meat.

fang xiang (9)

As I mention one of their signature dish, which is the back part of the pig as mention by the owner, she said that there are only 4 pieces of it at each pig and not many places sell this part. The best part of this is the skin fats with a thin layer at the top, as this part is easily obtain by the owner is because the dad is a butcher and always reserved the best part of pork for the restaurant. Only limited pieces are available.

This is Yvonne the owner cum chef for the restaurant. You never be so suprise that its just a young chef as usually Bak Kut Teh in our mind is cook by more mature people with their great recepi had been pass down from generation by generation. Most of the people working in the restaurant are mostly family members and most of them are very young. I did ask her why she open the restaurant, she is a big fan of Bak Kut Teh that makes  her own very first restaurant.

Price ranging from RM8-RM20 which is reasonable.
