Since MCO, how many of you have stayed at home and learn to cook? I see some of you had become like Masterchef kind pace. For me I still remain at lazy cooking, trying out quick meals that can be done within 15-30 minutes. Kanika is some of the products that I do try out before as they are Malaysian Japanese frozen seafood, fish and food supplier.
I am sure many of you are familiar with their products especially like Kanika Crab Stick.
What I have today for my quick prep is the followings:
Breaded Scallop – Sesame Dressing, Mayonnaise

There are a varieties of ways to play with the ingredients.

For Udon, it is actually the simplest of all. There are many ways that you can do with it. Fried or soup base.
Mine is actually rather simple. Classic style with Japanese Soy Sauce, dash of mirin to bring the flavour up and its done within 4 minutes. Then Put 1 Onsen Egg into it. Perfect! Classic yet simple. If you cook it around 4 minutes, then its kind a perfect with bouncy texture. More than 6minutes you will be stretching it but again depends on texture of your own liking. You like it soft or hard.
Next of course you can turn it into Sushi, The simplest form with my favourite Octopus. Sauce and its texture will never go wrong.
Kanika Sesame Sauce actually can do a few dishes out. One of the simplest is with greens. Salad and Seasame Sauce will never go wrong as the sauce its fragrant enough and do not put too much into your salad. Will be overpowering. Start off with little then add on more if you find it lacking.. Another is to put it into Udon? There are few recipes online with Sesame Udon Recipe which is kinda interesting.
