Heineken Thirst 2012 @ Sepang

*OMG! I totally forgot to click post on this blog post. . :d Here you go . . Heineken

One of the party I am looking forward before end of 2012 is this Heineken Thirst 2012 that is being held at Sepang. It was a hectic day for me that I have to work in the early morning, attending wedding dinner at night then quickly cabut from the dinner head to this massive party and the saddest part is I have to work early the next morning. I reach pretty late about 11pm and the carpark is super full till I park at the highway and walk in. It looks near but I think I walk about 1km into the party zone.

Along the way you can see many people selling drinks, beers and party pack . .

Hardworking people at work yet they are friendly . .

Once and forall, one way ticket to party till you drop. . .

when I reach the main scene, I am totally speechless, as I never know the 3 neon tree is going to be there, as what I read in the press release. I rate it as their trademark for Thirst party.

Its divided into 2 zone, this is the second zone Star Arena and who is spinning here :

Justice was the finale DJ that spin at the peak hour .. Love his music. . .

Then walk over to Main Stage, I got blast away with the huge crowd. I never knew this rave was so well accepted and its so pack.

Then head to our VIP terrace for our entry.

Above and Beyond was spinning at that time and I love the stage. Below are the video that I have capture and enjoy~

Great party like that how can we not to have Heineken on our hand. We ended up buy quite alot of beer that night.

As more and more drinks are flowing down, more and more pattern are showing up, with party like a rock star. . . Flying without wings. .

And the interval begins, with countdown of the DJ that many of my friends are looking forward for Avicii.

Then as I was walking every where, then bump into my PG friends.. cool~

let the finale section begin with the most inticipated DJ coming out, AVICII. . . . check out the video below how he pump the beat to blast every one away. . .

Its just amazing!

One good thing in this event as they never let you go hunger, as they have smoking zone, first aid area and Food tent for you to refuel your stomach then go party hard.

The party ended up with a 5 mins fireworks.

I must say, this is one of the best RAVE I have ever attended in Malaysia, and I am happy that its now up to that standard. Heineken Thirst in year 2012 is really a party that will be kept in my list as the best~ Those that miss out? don be sad as I believe Thirst 2013 will be even much better as they have raise the bar to such high standard now.

Read the following day on the Press release, they have a huge strong crowd of 25,000. Thumbs up!

Great party at H-Artistry Finale 2012 @ MIECC

On the 3rd of November a sensational culmination took place at the Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre making the trilogy ended with a big bang. The Global Art of Mixing Trilogy is the event that took place on the day that I have been always looking forward for this event and never miss it for the past 3 years. Its a event with an extraordinary mix of stellar musical acts from across the globe, a trademark H-Artistry atmosphere along with their signature drink.

It was a rainy day and it never stop all party people from flocking this place. I am surprise that this year, many people are early. This year the surely have slightly different set up compare to last year and forgive me, I forgot to take picture on their best service of all is they are subsidicing taxi service for party goers which I am totally impress.

After walking out the photo booth area, I am like Whoaaaa. . Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone is so packed~ Never knew that so many people came this early and found out that the main arena actually have not open to public yet and every one is here drinking and mingling.

Nowdays girls are picking up DJ-ing and its so coool . ..

Usually people will kill of their thirst at the counter first . .

best part of all is their 360 degree cam. This round I decided to skip cuz the queue is so long.

Then main arena open for access and one thing I am stunned for a moment is the stage with 4 frontage. I am totally amazed! We are shifted here as the act is starting soon .. .

Head to our blogger Zone O to park ourself there. Of course I found a spot this year by being early.. Kekeke . Love my spot with perfect view of the stage and I love those waiter and waitress that night keep serving alcohol to us till no place to put any more cups. They are so nice that once see our empty glass and replace for us. They also know what we drink.. Wkakakaka. . .Auto refill mode on at my table. .

Nicole is the early bird that reach the area and happy to see her around.. a person that really hard to date. .

Caroline is the person who always come to event early sit and rare gold fish for the rest of the night. This round she with her best friend Nicole also.

At the stroke of 10pm, the crowd quickly shifted into the party arena, and energy levels were pumping in sync with the crowd’s excitement, shrill screams of the female K-Pop fans in the crowd were Block B, who immediately broke into song and dance with their infectious track “Nilili Mambo”.

Showcased their rap, vocals and dance prowess to put on a stellar demonstration of the quality and showmanship of K-Pop music is.

As Block B bowed out, the next artist to take the stage was Alexandra Burke, who immediately stamped her vocal authority as the prima donna of the night. Among the highlights of Alexandra Burke’s performance were live renditions of “Heartbreak on Hold”, “Elephant”, and her hit track “Bad Boys”, featuring Flo Rida. However, the crowd exploded in exhiliration when Alexandra Burke invited Block B up on stage for an exclusive H-Artistry collaboration.

Along some other performance, I am seeing more and more familiar faces arriving the scene with Samantha . . .

Hehehe, and my best friend Karen bring her signature lighting cube to light up our drink with blink blink that making so many people envy on our table. That’s how we got our extra attention . . :p. We even crack a joke to people that main bar is giving away and there are actually people went to ask for it. :d

with 2 awesome fellow that we got close so quick that I know them not too long but it feels like I know them for ages. Me, Nate and fiancee Yuki . .

The main public floor is getting more and more pack as it hit 11pm . ..

Then Evvone found her best friend and found out that actually P zone is more happening and we shifted down and only head back to my table when need drinks .. kekke~

How can this party be complete without my old timer hard core party pack goer for 3 years already. Jennifer and siau Eric.

As the night flowing, with more act and performance coming up only set back is I have to leave early for my next day early photoshoot. This is the first time I walk away from this scene walking straight.

This year H-Artistry finale is just awesome and they really never fail to impress with this amazing stage and they have set themself a great new height to us for party goer and I really love the staging. Cool friends, best friends, new friends in this party scene, what can I expect for? Only one thing, Looking forward for more in year 2013. :p

In the end we took their taxi service and price reasonable reasonable as heading back to friends place at rate at Old Klang Road for RM 38 if I am not mistaken, without fear of getting drunk and stop by road block .:p

All you can Eat, ShabuShi Restaurant @ MBK Mall, Bangkok

On the 6th Day which is another shopping day request by the Girls, so we cancel all our sightseeing and spend our time mostly in the prime area for malls and the first stop for the day was MBK mall that we spend 5 hours there, from 10am – 3pm.. So walk around as everyone is very hungry and and saw this irresistible deal. Eat all you Can at ShabuShi Restaurant.

Had a quick breakfast in the morning and as all of them shop till forgot the time and stomach start growling, all of us start to hunt for food till we come over to this floor on the exit side we saw this sign – EAT all you CAn buffet.. every one say..go eat this one, damm hungry.. cow also can eat.. So we went in, and was request to use the front entrance. . .

Shabushi is a Restaurant offering Japanese Shabu shabu and Sushi for customers to enjoy at a very cheap rate I would say.

When we reach the front entrance, we were like OMG..so many ppl..siau eh~ and took our number, was told to wait 1 hour to come back, so we went to continue shopping and came back an hour after that.

Its a crowd mixture and one of the main thing that attracted so many people was the price of the buffet which is quite cheap. If I am not mistaken it is about 250 bhat nett per pax (if I remember it correctly) with given 90min/120 mins to dine.

We storm into the place and quickly place all our things on the table and start to attack on the food as given such a short time frame.

They have sushi bar counter seating or group seating with conveyor belt offering all fresh steamboat ingredients.

Many types of drinks available. . .they also have desert corner which I forgot to took a picture of it. .

These 2 cha boh attack on sushi counter very fast, with offering of lots of sushi and even salmon fish head also available.

Our soup was clear soup and spicy that taste pretty good though

Tatt and Steven was taking care of our dining table and by the time we went back to our table, it is already full of ingredients waiting to be pour in.

This piece of meat is good with marinated sauce and corn in it. .

This is how pack our table is. . . The best part is on the conveyor belt, the chef was standing there and we were the last table on the corner and whenever he put new ingredients, we took all of it and till a certain time, he got piss off cuz other customer could not enjoy it and he went to the front to put all the new ingredient…kekekek~

This is how we eat our steamboat with Malaysian Culture and every one that walk pass by our table, look at us like dinosaur, as our eating steamboat habit is definately different compare to the rest of the people there.

Then after dining, Goft only told us that this is one of a famous Japanese steamboat buffet in the mall that attracted alot people go. If got chance when you are in Bangkok and would want to try something different, try out this Shabushi, value worth and the ingredients are all fresh and good! – REcommended!!

we had a very satisfying lunch that last us till late dinner. 😀

One thing is that you cannot compare the pricing and quality to Malaysia restaurant cuz they enjoy lesser taxes and that’s how Thailand industry grow so well ..

Party with Taio Cruz on ArthursDay @ Speed City, KL

Usually heading the last quater of the year, every one’s mood will turn to party mood as there are alot of great events line up towards end of the year, and one of the most celebrated day for the past few years is Arthur’s Day. Arthur’s Day actually reflect to a series of music event that started celebrating few years ago in order to celebrate Guinness, now its consider one of a big event when it comes to month of September .. . We party all night long with 20,000 turn out crowd on that night.

Its one of anticipating event to kick start with, of course with some of my siau Penang friends are here, Kelly and Annie in da house that this event took place at Speed City, Selangor Turf Club

Just look at how proffesional these people handle the tab by making a nice cup of Guinness with nice creamy foam on the top and it was just so fresh that I instantly down 2 plastic cup on the spot~

All this great section is is, is because of Hui Ping…thanks to you alot

With all the usual crazy gang, Andrew, Kelly, Lady Allie, Jason, Annie then Me.

Then my brother show that this is how the way to sip down Guinness with a bit of creamy foam on your lips area. . .some even with the touch on the nose.

with great local and international performance for the night are:

– SOLER, Dragon Red, Prema Yin, Kartel Group featuring Joe Flizzow, Mizz Nina in da houseeee .. . . .Take-T from Japan, Dandee from Thailand, and the super star for the night, Taio Cruz!!!!

Most of them during all night long, they waited for the orgasmic moment which is Taio Cruz performance. When he is out, every one just went crazy and you can see all the crowd singing and dancing along. . .

ITs just amazing to see him out and create instant explosion to the crowd.

Lastly… I met Esther Ng, some one which I havent meet quite a while and her brother – stim eh stim eh . .Edward. . 😀

Wilee Tee is another person that very long didnt see her.

Best of all, I met my ex colleague by surprise in another section . .

Certainly, by far one of the best Arthur’s Day I ever went, with superb line up and great companion that I have for the night, only one set back on the night was the traffic towards this place and the location of it, its pretty sad~

Hopefully next year, they choose a better venue with a few exit point. . .It just took me 2 hours to head out. . Anyway.. we did enjoy ourselves~

Next heading the month of October means . . . .Octoberfest!!!

As early on Friday morning, that one of my best friend suddenly ccalled me during my meeting and just laugh his ass of without saying anything, and keep laughing non stop till I ask him ‘OOIIII…what happen la? Ki siau ahhh (went crazy iziit) ???!!! Then only he cool down.. Bok, you are famous liau!!! saw you in a forum and soo many people commenting on you~ I stunned and I was like don play la (cuz he was know as a joker and prankster). Then if you don believe, I ask the other guy to tag you..I said okok..wait for your good news. . .

So when another friend tag me in FB then I got shock !! oi.. that’s me in the picture and why got number eh? ask to buy toto number ah? Then called back my friend and ask him what is the meaning of this and he told me its related to MCA. I got blurrr again. . .

Well, my dear friends, this is memang me in the picture and for the past 2 days, the picture had been circulated wide enough to reach my friends that as far from Aus, some called me up , some left me in FB msg with different kind of comment. . .:)

One thing I am impress is that, after the news got announce 2 days ago, and online media had manage to get one of my pic in the blog to created and edit, then they choose the pic that I so ngam ngam got take some pictures with them and put in my blog and one of them picture got from my blog (Tiger Crystal Beer Lauching – Click here) and edit as below:

Remark: I have got noting to do with all this, MCA thingy, just so happen to be a victim in the topic.

To make the thing short and I don know how to read mandarin, by my understanding so far is that, MCA youth is recruiting youth members into their parties and apparently, this 4 young girls are recruited with to show that, in the party got young and old mixture as part of gaining confidence back from the citizen. Well, many reason that MCA is trying to come up with many comments too.

I doubt that girl in both the columm are not the same or maybe my eyesight got problem, anyway, I have no idea.. as that is what being compared . . .

ah Hai, Durian Farm @ Balik Pulau, Penang

When comes to durian season, most of my friends and me will go hunt for it, especially those in Penang. KL durians are not bad but I still find Penang durians taste way much nicer with its texture and taste of it. So last weekend when I was back to Penang, I purposely told my dad I wanted to go again to the durian farm when I was a kid to go there eat it fresh then he help me arrange. This is the durian farm I eat yearly when I was a kid till now.

[Update: the farm had sold off since 2017]

Just to let you guys know that Penang Durians life is very short usually is only bout 6 – 8 weeks only and last weekend was already end of the season.

This is the no name durian farm and as the owner is ah Hai, I would name it ah Hai Durian farm that located bout 45 minutes drive from Georgetown head towards air port then travel the route head towards Balik Pulau. Once you pass Teluk Kumbar is just about 5 minutes drive from there which is half way from the before reaching the top right at the curve corner with this small wooden atap area.

as daily he have 2 fresh shipment of durians directly from the farm, and if you wish to go hunt for your own durians, you can just tell him and if he allows you to walk in then you can just go, which is just directly behind this shaded area. All of us are waiting for fresh durian deliveries that my dad had ordered

I do not know what type is what type as ah Hai have his own special mix breed of durians and alot of types to choose from. D10, D11, D12, Red Prawn, Xo, and more.. .

This is the excitement that gets Nancy going. . .

and my best friend the 3 siau poh’s want to camwhore. . .

and request by them I have to take a geli pic to be feature in my own blog turns out to be like that. .this photo is user prob don know how to use my camera. . 😀

and of course Immai and her bf from KL and I stuff them with lots of durians till they surrender.

This durian season, was the best of it as I seriously eat alot compare to the past few years, and thru this farm, I always gain my satisfaction on durians after eating it .. *burrrp . .

If you ask me about exact location, I seriously do not know how to tell you as now there are new highway cutting thru this place, next year by following the highway, we have to make a certain U-turn to head to this place.

Total damage: cannot reveal cuz we have special price 😀

Next year I will be planing a 2 special durian trip . . .Stay tunned. . .
