If you are talking about herbal soup, definitely I will not reject you and I will be the first one to up for it. I used to come to this place alot when I was working around KL last time, as usually the reason I come here to eat is because either I am about to fall sick, or feel that there are too much heat in my body or craving for it. Keong Kee Herbal Soup is one of a well known place to many KL folks that constantly coming over to this place or they so called it “under the tree herbal soup”.

Since when I was young, I was deeply in love with herbal soup, I like it even more if bitter or stronger taste of it. If you are a herbal soup lover like me, then you must not miss this stall. A famous stall for its soup and a few of its signature mini item.

Herbal Soup

It is usually pack with people during dinner time.

Herbal Soup (3)

‘Wild Boar Curry’ is something I never miss, love its think gravy with its juicy tender wild boar meat yet the potato cook till quite soft. To mix it with a bowl of rice is just perfect.

Herbal Soup (2)

‘Boiled Chicken in Coconut’ is one of their signature soup. You can see almost every table will have this soup. A very strong Chinese herb taste on the soup, yet the soup is clear and you can taste the mixture of the herb soup and the coconut. What is the secret of being so flavourful?

Herbal Soup (5)

After I dig out the ingredient in it, it compile up nearly a bowl. This is to show you how good the taste of the soup with such ingredient in it individually.

Herbal Soup (4)

If you love something bitter sour on your tongue yet the soup is clear, ‘Ginseng Root Soup’ would be next on my recommendation list as it helps to make your body stronger too.
This stall, serve very authentic Chinese Herbal Soup and its hard to get such a good quality yet with a very reasonable price. Total for our meal including drinks is around RM25. Definitely this is in my Recommended list. Usually I park at the road side as not much parking space.

I was having interview in the morning and do not know where to have lunch and decided to lunch with my nearby friend. So went to this 3JC shop whereby most of the weekend it is packed with people and I was so happy that in the weekdays no one to compete with.

The interior is like a high class kopitiam compare to the old school type.

The first 1 on the left is a grape something as it comes with the lunch set. Then on the right is the ‘Herbal Tea’ is at RM2.20

This was my order, ‘3JC in Soup’. This is not a clear soup with home made balls, just forgot to bring up the koey teow. . . The soup taste very nice, it is like they boil it with alot of type secret ingredient inside. Taste sweet of the boiling of chicken bone, and others. The koay teow is smooth. Highly Recommend for soup lover. RM 6.90 for this bowl.
This is the set lunch set. RM 10.90 for it as it comes with a drink. After calculating is it not much difference by the pricing. Nice to be called set lunch set. The taste of the noodle was not that salty, was just nice to blend in with the soup and the noodle.
