Space 262 cafe Archives

Among so many cafe popping out in Penang, I find this new concept Cafe Space 262 坊 at Beach Street, Penang is indeed quite interesting. Combining the best of everyone strength under one roof. I think there are 5 different brands are house in this concept space.

[update 2.7.19 – some of my friends update me that this place got torn down. It was build illegally and against heritage rules] = sad to see but no choice la. heritage zone is quite strict on all expect. ]

This place is not hard to spot as it is just located a stone throw away from China House. Or just right behind the famous 2 kids with bicycle mural site.

The 5 other operators are: Kota Express – for a fusion kind of Nyonya food, Forest Bottle, Plan C (for their pastries and cakes), Botanical Florist and Moon Shop Gallery (coffee and plants)

Love the concept and ambiance of these place. Minimalist green design as Cement flooring, lighting is filled with plants and huge white space.

It was a crazy long weekend, hence this place is packed with people.

This is what is highly recommended by my sister @kellyBok (instagram) as the little jelly pig in the mud. The jelly pig is wobbly that give you the effect of (boink boink if you shake it). Ordered Latte here as I am lurving it. Little acidic yet with fruity end. Milk is balance well yet not overpowering. Perhaps could be one of the best coffee in my top 3 place for Penang as it suites to my palate.

The cake I think is not too bad yet not the best. just for pictorial purpose then yes. Crust is abit solid as the cake gives me the feeling like 2-3 days old. Well, still one of the best seller as most of the table ordered this.
