I have always try to imagine myself on surfing, and really wish to get a chance to stand on the board and surf under the huge wave when I was studying in Melbourne. Well, that was all just a dream and ended up got a chance to try out Kite Surfing. Never been dissapointed, as when  I saw this news, that end of November there is going to be a surfing competition – Asian Surfing Championship (ASC) by Rip Curl Pro, and this is the first time I heard about it and I am getting excited as its happening at Terengganu, Batu Burok Beach on Nov 30th to Dec 2nd.

This competition is not only about local, as its held on international level whereby surfers around the world will be heading to that venue to compete and challenge on the wave. Its a monsoon season and I am sure its gonna be a great place for surfers.

Rip Curl is also one of my favorite surf brands starting my high school period as that was the era of crazy fashion over Surf Brands. As years pass by, fashion change also their outlet design and their latest shop outlook is nice. Besides that, hit out to their outlet to check out on their latest collection.

Official Announcement of Terrenganu Rip Curl Pro 2012

Well, what do normal people like us are going to do when we are there? Of course it will be a great holiday gateway and not only that, people like me enjoy sunshine, looking at surfers and I will be checking out several fun-filled yet educational activities had been planned for the public with the aim to educate people from all walks of life about surfing activities. Indonesia top surfboard artists, Mr. Rizald from Bali will be the guest artists for the Surfboard Art Exhibition.  Also, there will be a booth with live demonstration of the overall actual process on making a surfboard. A surf clinic will be set-up for public to experience and learn how to surf. Jonni Morrison – Deaker, from the Rip Curl Bali Surf School, will conduct the surf clinic.

For me, I would say I am a big fan of bubble tea. Still miss the time when I was studying in Melbourne and take bus back to my house will pass by this bubble tea located at Box Hill Train Station which will definitely walk pass by there. Me and my housemate got addicted till we had 4-5 cups a week till we know most of the people working in there and get to have special mix combination that not in the menu. Chatime had landed in Malaysia.

chattime

After so long, to get a very nice bubble tea in KL is very hard, not until recently I heard one of my friend mention that one of our friend opening a famous Bubble Tea from Taiwan very soon and asking me to watch out. It was not till I heard they are the master owner of this very famous brand for Malaysia market Chatime which located at hottest shopping location area, Level 4, Pavilion (in front of True Fitness). Not to mention I have recently came back from Taiwan and only realise that actual bubble tea is so much different compare to our local market that they have in the mall or pasar malam. They acutally have a very original taste of tea of the mixture rather than most of them are using powder.

chattime (4)

Chatime is quite a well know brand which spread its wings with more than 300 outlets across the globe. One of the drinks to look for is that they do not really use powder but nicely brew tea, mix and match of alot of flavours. Upon ordering we are able to choose less sugar or more sugar just like it is as I experience in Taiwan.

chattime (3)

They have long list of drinks available but this are so far their signature or recommended drink.

chattime (2)

chattime (5)

For me the usual way to test the best out of the drink is always go for their original drink ‘Original Milk Tea with Pearls’. Aromatic of tea flavor and milk that doesn’t not taste too condense milky along with the ngam ngam mixed pearl is just good, would just easily beat any of the stalls out there.  RM5.90 – highly recommended

chattime (6)

Another recommendation by one of the staff is ‘Japanese Match Red Bean Smoothie’. If you are looking something cold, then this is an good option, strong green tea flavor that combines well with the red bean that make it solid in taste, and I just forgot to add pearl, it would have been more perfect. RM5.90

So far I like both Snowflakes and Chatime Bubble tea range, something that I would definitely want to have when I go to Pavilion.

A lot of my friends when saw me post up Karaoke in Taiwan in FB they asked me, Bok. .. are you okay or not? Go till so far you go Karaoke? Never sing before ah you? Heee, one of the reason that I choose to tag along with Pak is to see how their Karaoke place look like as every country have their own style, additional get to know more friends so that next round I do travel again to Taiwan (which is soon), it is more happening, with locals able to bring us and introduce me all the food that most foodie do not go. 😀 Then we head to NewCB Party KTV (星聚點西門館) .

It was on the second night that after sightseeing of Tamshui Fisherman’s Wraft, we hurried to XimenDing as we were late.

karaoke

When we reach there, we thought we went to the wrong building, as it looks more like a cinema outlook rather than Karaoke but it turns out to be.

karaoke (2)

They have a classy hallway that makes it look like a hotel area rather than normal koraoke place which can be identified.

karaoke (3)

As this would be the big difference of the Sing-K place. Usually we have buffet including in our package that is situated directly outside but instead of buffet style, they are doing more like a food court style. You will be given some vouchures to utilise, if you finish the whole stack of vouchure then you can pay by money.

Varieties of food to choose ranges from Japanese, Local Taiwan Food, Hong Kong food and some Snacks.

karaoke (16)

For me, I don’t really go Sing-K as I am not a big fan of it as I don’t sing (which all my best friend knows about it) but the only place I enjoy my K session time is when I was studying in Melbourne that they follow Hong Kong style which means there are people singing, there are people ‘Chai Mui’ on another table and drinking at another table. This is what

I usually do, I take food and eat. . ..

karaoke (17)

Then when mood comes, invite friends to drink or challenge or play games.

Quite a few times when we dine at Kuchai Lama, then we drive through and pass this shop always quite pack with people and wonder how nice is the food until we are out of idea what to eat then remembered this shop. Its located behind Papa Rich, a few shops next to the coffee shop. Restaurant Fu Gua Thong

fu gua thong

fu gua thong (4)

As we were there very early, the shop are still pretty empty, with sign board written the gain by eating  bitter gourd that helps in health.

fu gua thong (2)

The menu are pretty standard just that most of the dish are using bitter gourd, which I have not tried before.

fu gua thong (3)

Alright, let’s take a break from all the food posting, food pictures fooood and foooooddddd… This round I was very happy to finally get a chance to attend a fashion show. I have always wanted to go for a fashion show no matter big or small and jeng jeng jeng…here am I…Have to thanks to Coco for pulling me along~

I have always like fashion, especially look into girls fashion, follow my galfriends shopping help them pick and choose.Alright,I might be sound’ing a bit ah gua now but I am not. Just got this influence from my housemate they all when I was studying in KL and it got worst after studying in Melbourne. They seriously have cool brands and fashion sense there good and I mean very goood..

Why I love fashion so much? Its a type of how it portray you and also to let people judge you on first impression as it potray different feeling and look, that’s what I believe and please, who say guys cannot like womens fashion as Catbit Boutique is founded by a guy too, Vincent Ng. If you are looking fashion from Korea, Taiwan and Japan, he is the guy that are importing it. Besides that, he owns another 6 more brands which are Refresh, Cova, Gazebo, Moment, I Boutique, Myth that located in Sungai Wang Plaza and Times Square.

The showcase was held at Twenty One Kitchen & Bar, which is one of my favourite around that area.

I was told the time wrongly and was there freaking early. So this is the result of being freaking early with the guai lou sitting there with another gal, me and another 2 more person on the out door area.

Under this kind of event, alcohol of course is a must. This time is not Skyy Vodka but its Absolute Vodka…..

Being a guy always a bit of disadvantage when comes to fashion events. Guy get free flow of alchol and girls get to enjoy the free flow + goodies bag(for gals only). Aiii….:p Love the absolute vodka mixing with blended peach and juice(middle glass)

Most of us that went there, one thing only, we ‘L.O.V.E’ fashion.

and when the time is getting late, this is the crowd that you are expecting
and
while waiting for the show to start which still a long way, what me and the rest did, of course we camwhore.

The two mini candle look alike light have pretty interesting function and changing colour too thought of lighting up my mini nipple…

Under certain influence of alcohol, you will start doing nonsence.

Coco and Me

Then bump into Rebecca and her friend Joshim.

Then did saw Flora and Kristine couple of times in Nuffnang event if I am not wrong but I remember I did took picture with Kristine too, don know whose camera. Ish~ and at last manage to get to know them.

and I love this pic. Wilson is late for the event but he look so cute~ lol~

The emcee start to announce that the show is starting soon, then everyone of us just grab our camera and stand in position of we are ready, let the dogs out babeh~
Prepare for alot of pictures~. . . .. . . . .Here start the fashion show. . . . . . . . .

It was a time of celebration and farewell that this round we was suggest to go this place for eat all you can. Surprisingly, this is the first time I came across that Italian food also got eat all you can. Since the price is cheap, why not. Was suggest by Jonathan again for this kind of food. Was a bit phobia too of his recommendation but manage to read a few blogger mention that this place is not bad. So its good to head there. With RM11.90++ which offer during lunch hour and we did not expect much.

This shop is located in the heart of Bandar Puteri which been one of my fav food hunting area, which I haven’t come across any bad restaurant of food yet under my category.

With their interior design like that, this place sure do remind me of a place when I was studying in Melbourne with a famous cheap Italian Restaurant located at Camberwell, ‘Sofia Pizza House’. One of our favorite dining area but this place is the mini version of it.

The menu given to you with the mix and match of your choice of pasta and spaghetti.

How can we deny a mushroom soup with that kind of pricing in this kind of shop. We gave it a shot. ‘Home made Wild Mushroom Soup’ with RM5 and it turns out to be good. Just nice which is not too thick not too watery and filled with some chunks and blended mushroom. Something which you would not want to miss to order.

Then the waiter also headache with us, one shot order so many. Our order is like, errrr..this one 3, this one 2, this 1 + this 1 we want 4 then the kitchen suddenly got so busy as we are ordering food for around 11 pax and we were like occupying half of the restaurant.

‘Spaghetti Ham Carbonara’

‘Spaghetti Shrimp’

‘Fish Fillet’

‘Fettuchini Turkey Ham Carbonara’

‘Fettuchini Mix Mushroom’

‘Fettuchini Turkey Ham’
‘Mini Hawaiian’

‘Mini Chili Tuna’

‘Mini Seafood Pizza’
‘Mini Pepperoni Pizza’
‘Mini Hawaiian Turkey Ham Pizza’
‘Mini Hawaiian Pork Bacon Pizza’
Then when other people came into this restaurant moments later, it had become full house. The chef were getting frustrated with our order as we one shot every time order quite big amount yet there are other customer in the list also till we were asked by the waitress to slow down our order. Lol~

I am not going to comment individually but overall, their range of pizza does satisfy us that the waitress in the end also recommend us to mix and match the list which is not in the menu. Her recommendation turns out to be good like ‘Mini Hawaiian Pork Bacon Pizza’ and their spaghetti range is not consistent as when we were there early, it was good and towards more customer it change. In the end of the meal, we were quite satisfied yet they sure do have a friendly crew and of course Jonathan did ask when want to go again. Without any doubt I replied, anytime!

It would be advisable not to do mass order, to maintain their QC. I am glad that their portion is not big yet 2 person can finish but 3 person would be ideal as you can try out more variety. Their beer is quite reasonable too as we order it.

If you are looking for a cheap place to eat with not high expectation yet with that kind of pricing, surely this place would be in my recommendation list.
