I guess to many of us that when we dine in Lammeeya, it is pretty straight forward that they are famous for their signature Lammeeya, Lam Mee. One of their outlet in Uptown Damansara offers more than that. That they do offer home cook delicious dish on their extended menu which mostly had started off with this menu.

Lameeya (1)

I have heard many good things about this branch that their taste is always consistent and in tip top that hardly disappoint you. This is not my first time here, as I have came here a few times that I did not blog about it till  now. 😀

Lameeya (2)

If you come here during lunch time, you will have a massive hard time finding carpark as Uptown already famous for their congested area, and one of the best time to come and dine of course after work hours, which is much easy to find car park compare to day time. Not only that, to find  a seat in the restaurant would be much easier too.

Lameeya (3)

In this outlet, interior of the outlet which is a bit more contemporary compare to other outlets you have seen and you shall see more of the new concept from Lammeeya on other outlets as they plan to upgrade.

Lameeya (4)

In this outlet they also offer cakes which is made by them too . .

Lameeya (5)

I am usually a big fan of their healthy drink with many type to offer and some of the combination they made out create a curiosity for me to give it a try too.

Lameeya (11)

Their Lam Mee including prawns and own home made pork ball, and soup base gravy is thick as I usually eat and to make it more best, I usually add on two mini bowl of sambal they provide as I love mine to be spicy.

Lameeya (12)

If you have work outside quite often and miss some home cook soup, they do offer some double boil soup to please you and the taste of the soup is just there, brings out the right amount of taste that pair very well with inside ingredient that they have added in.

1) Watercrest Soup

2) Old cucumber soup

3)

Lameeya (13)

If you want some simple dish to make you satisfy or craving for some sort of Penang, Char Koey Teow, they do cook it very near to our style and its a recommended dish by me as the koey teow is cook to perfection with wok hei and its not spicy. For me I just love mine to be extra spicy, one thing that make it good is because they cook along with Duck Egg.

Lameeya (14)

Another super star dish of the night which is Stew Pork with Potato.I know, I know, its simple dish that we used to eat it from home cook or economy rice? How many actually can cook it till very nice and this is exceptional that when it was serve with the aroma flying around our nose, it was instantly rape and gone within seconds. – Recommended! @ RM 19.80

Lameeya (15)

A simple ladies finger that been soft boil in hotwater for a while add on with soy sauce and some finely mince chili with garlic to make it chewy and nice to bite, along with it, its a simple nice dish to start off with.

Pork Leg Vinegar  @ RM 23.80

Lameeya (17)

Chu kiok chow.. one of the favourite terms that my friend always like to use as it is one of his favourite dish, as whenever he come across the availability he would never miss to order it as he always compare back with his grandmother style. For this round, he hardly commented because it was perfectly cook, with the meat is soft, and some juicy fats is thick yet it had been boil for long enough to make it soft that nearly melts on your tongue. The salty sauce is just right not too salty yet with enough of rice wine to make it aromatic. To go along with rice is the perfect combination for this.

Lameeya (18)

Wine chicken that cook along with herbs and lots of ginger. Some of you might like it or hate it with one of the reason the wine is pretty powerfull. Well, to me i am good with it as for a dish like this, I always prefer it to be in stronger taste.

Lameeya (19)

Hee, why why we do not go for white rice as they have the option of Pork Lard Oil rice that cook in mini claypot. Surely, it brings the omph in with so many dish that we can pair along.

Lameeya (20)

You and I might have the same thought on looking down this dish which is Ginger & Wine Omelet @ RM 19.80. This simple dish proves us wrong when we had a bite of it. With strong fried egg taste and did not over cook as the wine taste just blend in very well.

Lameeya (21)

One of my childhood favourite dish, simple yet delicious. Steam Pork with Dong Choy @ RM 19.80 – REcommended

Lameeya (22)

Lameeya (24)

Lameeya (23)

Now we are having something like more towards to Ipoh fehmous Chee Chong Fun is show how similiar and available too .Pickle Chili & Sweet Sauce Chee Cheong Fun @ RM 10.80

Lameeya (25)

Mushroom with Mince Meat Chee Cheong Fun @ RM 11.80, hehe,  I prefer the normal dry version to my likings. Some of them they prefer this, well again depends on you. 😉

We were super full when the dish all was served and desert coming up, also must have space for that.

1) Tiramisu

2)

3) Oreo Cheeze Cake

4) Chocolate mud cake which is pretty good that is not too sweet, warm with chocolate oozing out. – REcommended

Lameeya (29)

For desert, the super star that blew our mind away is this Banana Crepe with the warm banana dressing which is cook and  made on the spot, that pairs very well with the aromatic crepe. Ice cream to compliment along with the hot and cold sensation enough to make your teeth numb. – Highly Recommended!!

Now its my turn to share with you all on this great food that this outlet have to offer, that for the next few days we dine there again for lunch as they have set lunch available. Again never disappoint us with most of their food are pretty good. This branch top in my chart that is worth recommending. . 🙂

I travel to Bandung last month and alot of my friends told me that town is not only famous for factory outlet is also a food paradise. I felt that there is like Penang where Bandung Street Food is also one of a must to do. Most of their hawker on the street are very nice. Simple just dip into one of the road side hawker then get the taste of it. Our first stop for the day while we were shopping at Dago area, we try out Durian Ice Cream which cost RM3.50 for a cup with durian meat in there.

street food 1

street food 1 (1)

A few scoop of ice cream. . .

street food 1 (3)

and add on their local brand Indomilk Susu Kental Manis Cokelat and carnation on the topings.

street food 1 (2)

The ice-cream is soft and it taste like the one I had when I was a kid, not too sweet and the durian meat flavour was not strong enough as I like. . .Overall its quite a good catch for RM3.50. . . You can just find it any where along most of the streets . ..

street food 1 (5)

As we walk further up nearby Citibank there are a few Warong located next to the bank and we were already very hungry as walk n shop the whole morning. . . try out de Robi Batagor with Kuah Kering. . .

street food 1 (6)

Indo version of fried wanton and fried taufu mix along with peanut sauce and sweet sauce. Freshly fried dip with the sauce is not bad lah` ID 6500 . ..

street food 1 (7)

Usually in Indonesia, Baso is one of the food that I would not miss. I just love their chili that added into the soup.

street food 1 (8)

The ingredient steam first then added their very own style of soup.

street food 1 (9)

street food 1 (10)

This is Baso Soup with Bee Hoon and Mee added. Added with lots of their chili to make the whole bowl spicy in taste. Just that this soup sold by this guy did not meet my expecatation.

street food 1 (11)

Then head to next area while we were shopping at House of Mode, Setiabudi area. . We try out ES Campur Special that added many ingredient inside like coconut, sago jelly, cincau, lychee and some others. To me, if it is less sweet abit then it would be perfect.

street food 1 (12)

Next to House of Mode, Batagor Riri is one of the stall that highly recommended by a few blogger from Indonesia. Batagor means (Fried Taufu) which is originate from Bandung and it had been so famous till spread to many places in Bandung.

street food 1 (13)

As the lady saw me doing some photoshoot, the offer let me take pic of the taufu before fried.

street food 1 (14)

This is after freshly fried and you must eat it while it is hot. Fried Taufu and Siew Mai squeeze with lime and a bit add on with the stall special chili, is just nice, crispy on the edge and the peanut sauce is thick and nice.

street food 1 (15)

Then when we saw a Warung filled with many people which is the Mie Ayam Pangsit Special.

street food 1 (16)

street food 1 (17)

Its is filled with half bowl of soup and chili sauce with another type of local special sauce to add in the kick of it and after mix it till all the chili coated onto the mee as what others do. . .The noodle is a bit springy and for a local taste like that I would say it taste pretty good for just ID 5000.

street food 1 (18)

Next to it Den Han Klappertaart is another one of a famous brand in Bandung.

street food 1 (19)

A few flavour is available.

Use bread to baked with huge slices of coconut yet have to eat it warm as if eating custard.

This street snacks I had it at Setiabudi (next to House of Mode) . . .

Part 2 of street food is coming soon .. .

Quite a number of times that I drive pass through this shop especially on weekend, there will be usually a huge crowd standing at this newly open restaurant about 2 months ago for dim sum Restaurant Jin Xuan Hong Kong. Traffic will be bad around this area as you can see many people standing and hunting for tables.

Thus it gives me the urge to give them a chance to try it out with my curiosity is it that nice?

timsum

According to one of my friend, the owner used to have a few shops in this area and now decided to combine up and make a big one which is very eye catchy when you drive through the road on morning at weekend.

timsum (2)

First dish that the guy came over was with ‘Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun’ that served cold instead of hot or warm that turns out to be not that nice.

timsum (3)

‘Pork Pau’ was next its served warm but then the filling in it is cold already (wondering they just steam for a while and took out already), the gravy of is a bit sweet and salty.

timsum (4)

timsum (5)

timsum (6)

‘Siu Mai’

timsum (7)

One of my favourite that I will not miss in tim sum is ‘Pai Kuat’.

timsum (8)

‘Har Kau’ that the skin is quite thick.

timsum (9)

‘Beancurd Skin with fish ball paste’ turns out to be quite good, cripsy on the skin, dipping it with chili and sweet sauce  is just nice.

timsum (10)

‘Fried Prawn’

timsum (11)

‘Fried Lou Pak Gou’ if its served hot then would taste much nicer.

timsum (12)

‘Char Siew Bun’ with butter skin on the top layer is not bad.

timsum (13)

‘Polo Pau’

After had this few, we do not have much of the appetite to continue already and when then bill came into around RM45 and with that kind of pricing, I can go for better options. Crowd is just the matter and the food taste so so only surely doesnt come anything near to Hong Kong taste.

[update 5/5/2016] tried again and still taste normal and it is quite expensive now.

‘Guangzhou Prawn Red Rolls’ Is something which is not in tim sum’s menu that turns out to be one of their special dish in this limited time to be given out complimentary when you order 3-5 plates of dim sum.

Chewy skin that wrap with crispy tempura crust that been crush and a fresh prawn is insert in the middle, something that we do not get to eat every day, worth a try.

House of TAng

House of TAng (10)

We get to taste one of the lunch special ‘Curry Fish Head’ which is around RM14.50++ for this big pot, that I totally agree is one of the cheapest!

We were out of idea of where to eat, very undecided then what they have suggested I do not like, what I suggest they don like. So ended up very cacat till went to new area to eat… Balakong~ Then Kenji mention that this place got very nice wrapped chicken. Then fast fast ask him to drive there.

When reach there and went in, I asked Kenji again, this shop can makan 1 ah… no people eh, he said you don talk so much, just wait and eat.

The very first order is ‘Yeong Tau Fu’. Its not bad but I have eaten better stalls compare to this, if their sweet sauce were a bit stronger in taste then would be good.

One of the thing that should not miss in this shop is ‘Chee Baw Gai’ (Paper Wrapped Chiken). When it was served, pass beside me, the keharum’ness of the chicken travels through my nose and instantly I was hungry.

Then they rest also ask me fast fast take picture la..hungry d..Then just snap 2 and even I cannot tahan wait to taste it. Finding difficulties to open the wrap but once open, its like just found a treasure buried inside the sand. The drumstick is flooded by the sea of thick gravy and the smell of it..damm nice!

‘Vegetable stir Fried’ Something simple and nothing to boost about.
‘Sweet and Sour Fish’ if I am not mistaken. Crispy on the outer layer yet the mild sauce had accompanied well with the fish and fish meat is soft on the inside showing the sign of fresh fish, accompanied by a bowl of rice is a perfect combination.
‘Butter Milk Pork’ is something I thought yewww.. but I ended up eating 3 pieces. A very thin layer of crispy skin and the pork was deep fried well that did not make it very hard in the inside. The sauce is nice, buttery yet taste a bit of the Thai sauce from Kentucky and eat it while its hot, the fragrance is there.

I cannot remember the pricing as I have lost the receipt but I remember 5 of us and each of us paid around RM12-13 which is quite reasonable for such a dish.

My choice of recommendation is the ‘Chee Bau Kai’ (Paper Wrapped Chicken) which is their signature dish here. If you miss this dish is you don plan to have sex after getting married.

After long hard day of walking around which I am looking foward for this dinner since from the very begining of day 1. As i have been told by my friend this buffet is very nice and fresh. Famous for its sashimi and the most signature is the beef. Located in a walking distance of Central station which is located under a basement. We book a certain section of it as we flock with 40 ppl in there. 😀
This buffet cost HKD350 per pax. Which worth every penny to spend on it.

The interior is deco with Japanese style. The sliding doors, the private area and some VIP room.

The best part deal of the dinner is we were given a free flow of cold and hot sakae compliment by my friend. Not Restaurant.
When we were seated down and I busily look through at the buffet menu, then we were served with a Abalone each. A jump of excitement and I thought I can order as many as I can. After I swallow the whole thing down and my friend asked me…y so fast..must slowly enjoy ma..Cuz all of us were given 1 a complimentary by Steven… I directly DOWN…I thought eat all I can…
First plate of sashimi that were pre order by my friend. The sashimi look sooo good then when I see it I were like swallowing my sliver.
This is the ‘Salmon, Tuna, Sweet shrimp, Scallop and Sword Fish’ is soooo fresh. I have never eaten this kind of freshness since when I was in Melbourne.
This plate is filled with ‘Salmon, Amberjack, Sword Fish, Scallop’. The scallop is so fresh that we ordered more than 5 plates.
‘Horae Mackerel Tataki and Sweet Shrimp’ which you cant have anough of it. We were just walaping the sashimi like nobody’s business. Enjoying every piece that entered into our mouth.
Next we move to goreng goreng stuff…‘Fried Toufu’ which fried with certain nice aroma contain in it and its very soft from the inside. Dip it with the sweet sauce given, gives you the best taste.
‘Grilled Eel’ Well marinated and well cook by the chef which still preserve the softness of the fish and the skin just melts on your tongue.
‘Teriyaki Squid’ Grill well from the inside out, never too over grill and its very chewy, just as what as we expected.
Cant really remember what is this called but it was cut to a very thin slices of beef and grill it to 50% cook and you can still see the juicyness and the softness of a meat suppose to be. Was stuff with a asparagus. One plate is not enough.
‘Grilled Cod Fish’ is well marinated with the Japanese sauce and grilled to perfection. Can still make its slices and softness of the cod fish still maintain.
I just cannot describe how good is this plate. The prawn’s freshness which taken to grill and the scallop was perfectly grill.
‘Fresh Baked Oyster’. I walap this whole plate bymyself. The combo of the cheeze which was served with fresh oyster, just cant have enough of it.

This I do not know what is it called as it was ordered by my friend, taste weird at first but you would want more after that. Something which you cant find in our Malaysian japanese restaurant.
‘Shark Fin Handroll’. Something worth to try on.
‘Grill Beef’ adding on with the slices of fried garlic that soak into the meat and eating along with it, with half done cooking makes you drool for more.
This is a chicken leg knee part which is fried to golden brown and I do not really know how to enjoy this but the rest of my friend were happily eating it. Feels that you are like bitting their nerves.
Cant remember what is this called also but with the sweet japanese sauce that add in, makes the whole stick lickable.
This fish is well grill and filled with alot of fish roe inside its stomach.
‘Gyoza’ which is very well fried and crispy on the main layer of skin and inside filled with meat. Wont too fancy eat as I have eaten better one.
After eating lots of raw and goreny goreng.. so we move to steam boat. My talbe order the ‘clear soup’ base.
We were told to hantam on the beef and lamb slices. So we ordered alot.
With added on seafood dish to pour into it to make the soup taste even better.
Busy preparing the pot.
This is what it have become after hantam all in.
After eating too much, we need to take a break in between to let it digest. So let the camwhore session begins.
As agai, Gay Keong(on right) in action again, and Ivan got drugged and waiting to be brought back home… They are not gay but the gayiest pic ever taken.
Post with Karlina, don really know what is she trying to do.

With this Auntie Angie…just like to disturb her. Don know why. But seriously, she is a heavy drinker. I salute her. Drinks alot of hot and cold sake already still no problem.
This si lang Pat as always like to kacau me. It is very wrong to seat us together because we talk like cat and dog.
A failure of Sake advertisement. Surely the company bankrupt, reason why, me the male model..
With the rest of the indo friends which from Surabaya.
After damm all out camwhoring session, of course back to and enjoying my meal.
Soon after we left the restaurant, and on the way walking back to the train station to catch the last train as we still got 15 minutes left. So walk walk walk and saw this bike parking on the road so yeng. Directly run over and camwhore with it.
Police on duty to give ‘Saman’ and were were like busying :
and asked the policemen to take pic with us. He said me very in the hurry, need to catch traffic offenders. Told him 1 only..1 only..very fast 1.. he said okay. Then we continue walking. To the next junction saw him again, so the rest of the ppl just run like siau lang and shout at the policeman that they want to take pic with himm…
We asked him, when you go catch traffic offenders, can we take pic with your bike, at first he was reluctant then ask as where are we from. From other countries then he was like go ahead. Kenny they all take a pic with the policeman and request them to tag him on Facebook. Damnm geng..HK policeman also FB kaki.
Me on the Hong Kong policebike..wakkaka..
Having a great time at the restaurant and of course with the 1st class food and serving, surely wouldnt mind to intro my friends to go there makan.
