The Market is actually quite an interesting concept where they house many small eateries with their own specialty at this level. It is like a huge modern hipster food court, where all the kiosk are nicely built up.

Then at night, my friend brought me back to one of his current hang out spot for drinks which is TBC – The Beer Cap that offers many different types of boutique beers.

We had a lot of drinks that night, where we nearly tried the whole taps. Ace Pineapple Cider would certainly suits for girls palate.

All the boutique beers have their own distinctive taste. My personal favourite is no.6 , 8 & 9 at the menu board.

If beer is not your thing then you can order wine at The Barrel.

This is highly recommended by my best friend- Dan Dan noodle which is his personal favourite that he will drop by at least twice a week to have this. Indeed the noodle is fragrant with special marination of pork and their sauce is indeed very unique. Should not miss out too.

Maygori is a new kakigori dessert cafe set at the new hit spot theCOMMONS. Some travelers like us may know this brand After You Dessert Cafe whereby Maygori is actually one of their latest new expansion concept.

The Commons (10)

This dessert cafe do resembles space from Japan where it is a small tight space with limited seating inside the shop. It indeed give you the feeling that you will be squeezing with other dessert diners.

Ume Japanese Plum @ 185 Bhat

The Commons (18)

It is well presented that with cotton candy type of ice on the top where it look so soft and fluffy.

The Commons (19)

As we pour on the ume syrup given, we can even smell the sourness of it that already entice on our taste bud.

The Commons (20)

As all of us dip into the ice, we instantly fell in love with it. Sourish enough that can give you a quick smirk, where ice is so soft yet instantly melt in your mouth and the base is filled with ume jelly. It is a great dessert for such hot weather.

If you are at The Commons, worth to pay a visit for this Japanese Dessert Cafe.
