Early Sunday morning and do not know where to head for breakfast. After take a drive around for 15 minutes then my friend come accross this place and saw, eh eh, try this stall, it was one of the stall that I used to eat during college times which is pretty famous. Then I agree since I have never tried this. Bridge Head Hokkien Mee & Loh Mee

loh Mee (1)

After Google up a few article only came across to know that this Hokkien Mee stall is actually quite authentic in taste as the recipe had pass down from previous generation. The family had started selling since 1963 by the Lau family and currently, its 2nd generation that  selling at the moment..

loh Mee (2)

The stall is located at a very obvious junction if you are taking the Jelutong Expressway exit towards Prangin Mall, its a pre-war building right at the corner of the traffic light that you can see people actually sitting there and eat.

loh Mee (3)

loh Mee (4)

It had been a while since I had my last bowl of Loh Mee, and to say that Penang Loh Mee and KL Loh Mee is pretty different as Penang version is black starchy gooey soup base they have. To make the taste even better you have to add in special garlic sauce that every loh mee stall created for themselves and this stall had make it quite strong in taste as you just add abit and some of the chili would be perfect.

loh Mee (5)

loh Mee (6)

Next we order another bowl of Hokkien Mee to share and I add in Pork Ribs. Soup base is rich in flavour as you can taste it with pork bone and prawn heads they have cook for quite a while. A pretty decent bowl of breakfast to go after.

I still say, I prefer other stalls.  No harm to try this out .. 😉

If you are always in a hurry or need to take away something simple and nice yet cheap, Chicken Rice is always top in the list but with Sum Lam Fatt Chicken and Duck Rice had made its name around the neighbourhood is one of the popular place to hunt for when think of Chicken Rice.

Lam Fatt

If you were to go during lunch hours, you are expecting a que in this shop.

Lam Fatt (2)

and guess what, its only 1pm and all the chickens are gone while we are waiting for the guy to replanish it.

Lam Fatt (3)

I just love the ‘Chap Chai Soup’ which is spicy with dry chili yet sour with the sour vegetable and cook it hours with duck meat and bone. I just finish this bowl of soup. RM4

Lam Fatt (4)

The chicken taste good, juicy that had been soak with the soy and a bit of sesame sauce, and the ‘Siew Yuk’ nothing to boost about~ RM6 for 2 person.

Surely, I have no complain about this place as it is cheap yet the service is fast.

My dad like to ta pau from this shop if he did not go down town.

Previously when I went to Wai Sek Kai, this stall didnt open. It is 1 of my favourite stall. So decided to go there again last week to salivate the ……….

Orrr Kuih‘ which is soft and the yam taste of it is there. Will be very nice to mix with the chili sauce and sweet sauce ‘Tim Cheong‘.

This is the curry pig skin which is one of the famous food in this stall.
Here comes my food. ‘Curry Chee Cheong Fun with Pig Skin’ . The taste of the curry is mild and a bit sweet which goes along very well with the chee cheong fun and the pig skin just cook well to its softness. I drink till to the last drop of it. RM2.80

This is what I mean theOrrr Kuih‘ or ‘Yam Cake’ if I am right. One of my favourite. RM 1.20 for this.
Of course to close my meal with a very nice kuih which is just next to the stall.
Didnt try before the Yau Char Kuai before so no idea. Judge by the look of the goreng’ness I think should be good. 🙂

This is the stall that next to it sell the kuih.
This is my favourite of all in this stall. Like it to the max. The coconut inside it is just sweet to perfection which had been mix with brown sugar and the skin of it is just delicate and the coconut is just to mix with it very good ah… RM0.70
For the food its cheap I find it very reasonable cheap and nice, as other food review please click here

Great! Another love comedy movie coming up staring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner~
When I first saw the preview of the movie, directly I thought of my friend’s past experience during uni life. He was my housemate when I was studying at Melbourne. At that time, my few guy friends at that time were happily having a few girlfriends at one time but one of the guy
s case is not as good as this one and till today we still bring it up, talk and laugh at it.
The story goes like this, my housemate get to know this gurl from the a friend in Malaysia, then started talking and webcam, till she finally come to Melbourne. After she left, my housemate get to know another in the club, from Thai, then again the following week another girl and the following week another girl. At that time he was already had 4 gurl friend at 1 go. Then till very 1 day, me and my the rest of the housemate decided to have a cooking fiesta with him beeing the cook and invite all our friends over to dine. We had lobster, Oyster, wine and beer.
At that time, he again hooked up with one of our friend’s friend. He had put whole lot of afford on her till finally the gurl agree to let him fetch her back, then not more than 3o minutes later, he came back to our house looking a bit funny and all of us very curious ask him how how? he cant be that fast right. He told us that when his car stopped the traffic light, then one of the gf saw him and ask him, going where and who is that gurl then there the scene begin. The other gf ask the gurl in the car who the hell are you! then ask back the same, then the gurl in the car realise that this guy is a playboi and just left him. Till that, they never keep in touch with him anymore but of course with us still do.
My ex housemate now is happily married with 2 kids. Thank god now he had settle down but those were the days~
Hopefully I can get the special invitation fron Nuffnang. Thank youuuuuu~~~~~

Recently I have been to O-Town Bangsar South quite often as I found out that, it is the most cosy O-Town Branch to meet up with my friends and it is in the middle.

Then I did notice a burger stall in front of it. So as I am sick of the food over there, so decided to give it a try as some times as I pass by there are not many customer in the stall. Most probably the location of its place. For me, if I were to open a stall, pretty sure that I wont pick that spot. The passerby customer is so little.

This is the burger stall that located in front of the 7-11 over there and it is run by 2 local students which is they are doing part time of it. While waiting for the burger had a chat with the stall owner found out that the cost of operating this stall is not more than RM1k because they are not taking franchise. As I know a Ramlee Burger stall need around RM45k for Otai do not know, never ask before.
They way they are doing the burger sure looks good, juicy, and tempting. The fact is the taste of the burger is not bad, surely can improve more. If the meat were to grill a lil longer, it would be perfect. If they can make their mayonnaise sauce more unique then it would be a perfect burger arleady. The best part of the burger is of course the black pepper sauce that they are using. RM4 for this ‘Burger Special with Cheeze
Overall the taste is not bad, considering that they are new in the industry and surely will go back again some time.
To visit this stall, you must have fate with them, because the stall syok syok open, syok syok not open. No consistency of when they are operating.

This is one of my favourite place to go for lunch which I feel that the price is okay although abit pricey compare to other places like PJ or Pudu there. This shop is famous for this little stall during in the afternoon or lunch time.

This is called the ‘Chu Yuk Yuen‘ as what my friend told me. As there are 2 types, one which is dry that I ordered and the other 1 is soup. Both are equally very nice as the dry, they will put the yuk yuen in another bowl. It is very nice. Should try out. Was told that this stall is very famous.

This is whereby they put it into separated bowl for the dry noodle.RM6 for this.
As I was very hungry that day, so decided to order this from the Chicken Rice stall. It taste very geli because both of the thing is very cold. Like just took out from the fridge. Especially the egg. The taufu is still alright. Cannot remember how much is it already but the price is reasonable. Will try on the chicken rice next round as seems like alot of ppl order it also.
This has changed to become my favourite meal in this coffee shop already. Previously I used to order the Chu Yuk Yuen but then after saw that the lady cooking this and it looks very tempting, so I must say it taste very very nice. The stall is next to the Chu Yuk Yuen. Enough salty, all the pig spare part which is very nice, nicely cook and hot enough and the best part is you will sweat like hell, as the thing is very hot and the coffee shop also very warm so your sweat will be start dripping. RM 7 for this bowl as I ordered it big. About the name for this dish, I do not know how to called it so skip it. Sorry.

I would definitely recommend this shop for lunch dining in KL city area.
