Korean food, at times its hard to resist when comes to BBQ. To me, their signature is always BBQ yet when I went to Korea that time, it was not the case but in Malaysia, it looks like this are the kind of food that we could get, all under one roof. Honestly, if you ask me where is the nice Korean BBQ food so far on the island, definitely I am recommending this shop. Being one of the latest addition into the market it had gain its reputation quite fast and quite recognise by alot of my friends too.

As I always heard to get good Korean food was some where around Ampang but then my buddy Yeong brought me to this shop at Sri Hartamas and then now they had operated in Penang. My parents not being a big fan of grill stuff then I decided to bring and expose them to the little great environment they have there.

Their decoration is sure the same as the one they had in Hartamas.

Even the interior. The restaurant is quite pack and it is advise to do a reservation before you proceed, if not you will of course be seated at this lower ground. The very friendly boss is from Korea.

Ground floor setting is different from upstairs.

Upstairs they do have their own private room that would best for birthday celebration, client or family gathering.
This would be the place which we were seated. A very traditional Korean concept that makes you feel like you are part of the culture.
If you are a Saju lover, then you would not want to miss their selection, temptation to order.

For me, I am 100% sure that I do not know how to read Korean yet with the translation of English on the dish would not be perfect with picture illustration. It is easy for me to ask my parents what they want to eat and just point without actually have to explain to them what are the sauces or how it looks like.
Variety of meats are available and with different seasoning too.
Before the mains for serve, your table will be filled with all those small little appetizer to start of with, if you find any that you like, you can just refill any of the choices or get the whole set refill at your desk at no time.
You will be only left a very small place for you to ngam ngam put your own cutleries only.
Being a pork ribs lover in BBQ pit which is a must order item, ‘Hanbang Dweji Wang Galbi’ RM35
The pork ribs was well marinated and
The Pork Ribs was well marinated balace with some fats and meat, and after BBQ’ing for a while the meat is tender and its juicy. If you wrap it with lettuce and dip with the sesame sauce will add in the extra kick in it.
Being a fan of ‘SonDuBu JjiGae’ the taste is very appealing. Not that spicy as the colour looks like yet a bit of the sour taste accompany by a bowl of rice is a great companion. RM17
To me in BBQ, lamb is always a must for me which is ‘Yang Gogi’ marinated evenly and was cook perfectly by the helper. BBQ to its softness and the taste of the lamb is there with oozing of the after BBQ juice that had created by the lamb on the grill pan is just something we enjoy very much. RM35

The perfectly grill lamb.
Normal eater like my parents, they always prefer to have chicken, just in case they do not know how to enjoy the rest of the order. ‘Yang-nyum Dak-Gal-Bi’ RM27

After enjoying the first 2 great dish, then this had become something like so so. It would be better if they serve this first at least your taste bud can try something from okay to good.
At the end of the meal, you will be enjoying a comlimentary watermelon but we were enjoying our great meal there. My parents would sure returning to this restaurant again.
Here are my review on Hartamas Branch, KL.

This would be my very very first time step into the cinema watching local productions. What interest me was the preview of the movie and went to search some details about the director too. Looks interesting. The lagi interesting thing was when we walking into the cinema, all the people look like us as an alien, some with even in their thoughts like are they in the right cinema ke? We were the only few chinese watching it.

When I read the translation of Pisau Cukur = Gold Digger I was lost but what the hell, first time watching do not understand their term, so I learn a new word. Heheh.

In school, we were often asked what is our ambition, but there is one unique girl answer, I would want to marry a Tan Seri or Dato also she doesn’t mind. The teacher nearly fainted. Lol.. Surely it was a good answer. Then this girl Bella went to enter a contest and she lost and seems like she is one of the famous celebrity as pisau cukur. She was very down after losing to marry the rich guy and then her best housemate invite her to the cruise for hunting.

As the movie go, there was a murder of Dato and then Intan become curious about the case and start investigating and Bella found a Dato which is very rich to be with… In the end both of them let go the hope of being pisau cukur, because the realize that its nonsence.

The 2 role that they are acting is kinda Bimbo.. but sure do have their signature in it.PANASSSSS!!! lol~ and her exclamation during stress time..is just like one of the english movie but there are a few scenes are very fake during their cruise but still not bad for a local production.

Watch it movie day or DVD but a lot of my Malay friends gives thumbs up.

Went to meet one of my Pg tuition friends when I was in high school, whereby this person is so hard to come out for a dinner and yet not much time even to go for Pang Sai(go toilet shit) which is her work load is mountain high~ yet manage to kutuk her some and manage to curi her out for a while to dinner at KLCC which yet she claim her time is very precious..(vomit blood)The style of our conversation is always like cat and dog. Kutuk all nite long.
So choose this place to eat as I lazy go to all the way down for dinning. Sure have the Penang Concept and since both of us also from Penang, ‘nyek nyek nyek‘ time to go on commenting. Environment wise is not bad lahh~ cuz a bit high class Kopitiam style yet in KLCC so….cannot complain.

This is the are where they prepare the drinks and my friend peek a bit..’ask her so kaypo ah..wanna go in do iiiziit?’

This is what I had ordered. ‘Curry Mee. One of my favourite in this shop. Well, of course they have to serve halal its because have to be a unity shop…so there are some spare part missing. Still of course the base soup is quite sweet and taste some of the water paip taste but then after I ………
hantam 1 big spoon of the chili inside my bowl, it definitely taste very nice. Spicy yet delicious. I just finish the whole bowl like a small kid or maybe I was hungry tat day as I wait for her till my stomach turn belly(direct translation from hokkien)..The curry cost RM9.80.

Then my friend ordered, ‘Prawn Mee which in Penang we called it Hokkien mee, different from pg totally. This I never really like the taste of it and she also like shake head. Not really good then blame me for bringing her to eat this place. Cis~ RM9.80 for this bowl.
Sit and chat and chat then suddenly she tell me that she crave for Rojak and lagi teruk 1 is she said she wanna have a few nia..cuz fattening..*slap on my forehead. Although the Rojak is not as nice as what we had in penang but cannot compare. So so onli la the the worst 1 is it cost RM7.50. suck blood as what we said and kutuk..lol..

It has been ages since last I came here, it was during my college here and used to hang out here for tea time as I was studying at Disted College during year 2001. Calculations come out around 8 years since last I visit this place. It was the ah pek Char koey Teow still the same person. Luckily was not closed. This place is what we called ‘Chiu Chang Ka‘, direct translation Under the Tree located at Pulau Tikus area.
This is the stall that stay at the same place for the past donkey years. One good thing about this stall is he uses charcoal to fried it is always better to those than using gas, fried by one plate at the time. The special about this uncle stall is he uses Duck egg, upon request. Must try it. Taste much better.
Tadaa, this is the uncle ‘Char Koey Teow with duck egg’. Have the wok taste, nicely fried and not too dry yet the si ham is alot, with chinese sausage and only RM3.50.
After leaving Penang for not too long, and I ordered Teh O Ice, and guess how much is it, Only RM0.90. Wow, didnt know still exist with this kind of pricing and the funny thing is when the lady come and told me its RM0.90, then I like ‘Hah, 90cents ah’. she like yeah la, you come out from hutan or too long never come out eat already iziit. Lol..It has been long long time since pay for a drink less than RM1.
This place also famous for Economy bee hoon with fried popiah on top, unfortunately it was closed that day, or I do not know still exist or not.
