Continue our food hunt, as direct after the Wan Tan Mee (click here), then our next station that Jasonmumbles rarely miss when he is back to Melaka is one of his favorite stall, Hajjah Mona Asam Pedas which he rate one of the best Asam Pedas that he come across so many stalls which Asam Pedas also know as one of Melaka delicacies.

Asam Pedas (1)

As I have been to the famous Jonker Street (from Donald and Lily’s Restaurant) and I did not know that by walking distance of around 5 – 10 minutes you are able to reach this stall which is located to the newly build hotel by the river if I am not mistaken.

Asam Pedas (2)

This place is damm pack with alot of people with its famous asam pedas that attracts many outstation customer also.

Asam Pedas (4)

The Asam Pedas is prepared fresh daily to cater for their demanding crowd. . .

Asam Pedas (3)

Then you just choose what type of fish you want and choose the extra side dish like egg, chicken, fried fish and others.

Asam Pedas (5)

This would be the normal set that every one would order, asam pedas with a plate of white rice and smack with a fried egg.

Asam Pedas (6)

Of course I always prefer mine with salty duck egg . ..

Asam Pedas (8)

Asam Pedas (7)

Famous for Asam Pedas with their mild curry which is not so spicy yet a bit fragrant and perfect to eat with rice.

Asam Pedas (9)

According to Jason, their taste is not consistent as usually he would usually order a plate of Asam pedas to try first as if the taste for the night is at the best, he would order more. . and if the taste is not on par, he would just finish just one plate, and on that night we had, he said that their quality was not at their best so had just only one order.

It has been quite a while since I last went to snorkelling and this is the famous Marine Park nearby Redang Island whereby the most satisfying so far.

The amount of fishes they have there at least it looks like a ocean and something to look for. FISHES~

To get a pack of the bread to feed the fish cost RM1 only to lure the fish to take pic with you.
If I am not mistaken I still think that the coral at Pulau Payar is much nicer than this 1.
Not many types of fish you can see in here just a few types but in large quantity.
Nearby the rock there is 1 quite giant fish floating in there. Was told that quite tua pui and heavy. Most of the ppl swim to this area trying to see this fish and the eel about 3-4 meter long. Could not spot it. Some where in the ocean I guess.
Ahhhhh….this is the type of fish whereby you can see every day, when you eat Nasi Lemak.
Trying to take as many pic as we can.
This pic was taken on another island during afternoon snorkelling session, one of the guy dive into the bottom of the sea to bring us this. If did not handle with care, your hand will be cut easily as the shell is quite sharp and inside it lots of small thorns.
In this island there is not much thing to see as lots of dead corals. So ask the helper to take some pic for us and he was like…aiyaaaaa you guys again ah! come la.. I help you take~
Greetings from earth, we come to the sea in peace!
On the way back, friendly and funny guys~
