I am sure some of you do know about the crazy hype, super long queue and waited long for a Japanese Cheese Cake Uncle Tetsu in 1-Utama. Fear not, as for all Penangnites, Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake had officially landed in our Pearl of Orient and currently is operating at one of the latest hip upcoming area at Bayan Baru, Summerton. Beer Factory in Penang is also house in this latest development.

Lets move back a little bit to know about Uncle Tetsu. This well known  Cheesecake is originated from Japan and was founded 20 years ago by Mr Tetsushi from Tetsu Global Ltd. Its original shop are located in Fukuoka, Japan and over the years they have expanded to over 45 outlets around Japan before they expand other countries. They have officially landed in 1-Utama last year October 2014 and Penang is their second region to expend in.

Signature of this outlet is definitely their Cheesecake and on own personal recommendation would be their Cheese Stick. 

Uncle Tetsu Cheesecake is made fresh from Australia imported cream cheese and butter, farm fresh dairies, heavy dosage of great passion that comes out with an average waiting time of 20 minutes per tray.

The final step of this would be a signature iron chop of Mr.Tetsu on the cheese cake.

If you ask me personally, I have not eaten the original soft fluffy cheesecake from Japan and being this a franchise chain, I am certainly impress with their super soft, near melted fluffy texture like cotton is pretty good compare to other bakers that I have tried.
