Heineken Thirst 2012

I just love end of the year as more and more parties coming up. One of another big music festival coming up is this Heineken Thirst 2012 which is no stranger to me and many of my friends. Most of them are looking forward to this huge music event that is gonna happen on the 8th of December at Sepang! I have been to their last event with huge boombox being build up (click here) which I did not blog about it, just a glimpse for you.

Lighting up the December darkness like a solar flare, Heineken Thirst – Malaysia’s leading electronic music festival – powers back to life again on December 8 at Sepang International Circuit. Expanding into new dimensions of music and creativity with a series of exclusives, this year Heineken Thirst brings you two stages of passion and excitement against a backdrop of towering light sculptures and creative wish fulfilment.

Every year Heineken Thirst searches for sound barriers to break and visual limits to exceed. In 2011, it was lift-off with ever-accelerating super producer Tiësto. In 2010, the awe-inspiring spectacle of Godskitchen Boombox touched down at Sepang. This year Heineken Thirst scores a double first: with twin headliners in the shape of Swedish house supremo Avicii and French electronica pioneers Justice across two arenas, both playing their debut Malaysian sets, Heineken Thirst 2012 is set to eclipse its own supersonic achievements.

“Heineken Thirst is an opportunity for our consumers to experience a destination music festival without jumping on a plane,” comments Loh Ee Lin, Heineken Brand Manager. “For one night they can escape the city and immerse themselves in the creative universe of Heineken Thirst and bring their music experience bursting to life.”

What Mosaic Are You? Win Prizes up to RM15,000

Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur celebrates the first year anniversary of Mosaic, an all-day dining restaurant with Leica Store Malaysia in a photo campaign entitled ‘What MOSAIC are you?’ starting from 10 September to 10 October 2012, this month-long campaign will be giving out prizes worth up to RM 15,000.

Collaborating with one of the best German engineered camera brand, Leica, the campaign encourages diners and the public to submit creatively-captured photos revolving around the theme Food for Celebration – images of food and/or celebrative moments with friends and loved ones.

During this campaign, each participant is allowed to submit up to a maximum of three (3) images at any time during the campaign. Participants are required to e-mail their submissions to [email protected]  with their full name and title of their photo(s). These photos will then be shortlisted by Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur and Leica Camera. Selected entries will be posted onto the hotel’s Facebook fanpage (www.facebook.com/MandarinOrientalKualaLumpur) in an album ‘A Mosaic of Food for Celebration’.

At the end of the campaign, the Top 10 winners will be announced in Facebook as well as notified via email. Prizes include a Leica V Lux 3 camera, accommodation stays in Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur and much more. Following the end of the campaign, a collage consisting of all selected photos will be tabulated and posted as the hotel’s Facebook fanpage cover photo.

It is a different approach to the conventional way of celebrating anniversaries. We hope that with this campaign, Malaysians will take the opportunity to showcase their photography skills as well as helping us create a creative collage that will ultimately portray Mosaic as a fun and ideal venue for any kind of celebrations, occasions and gatherings,” said Frank Stocek, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

Throughout the campaign, a printed ‘MOSAIC’ collage will be displayed at the hotel lobby adjacent to the restaurant to create awareness and encourage participation. Diners at Mosaic will be extended a complimentary ‘Leica camera experience’ courtesy of Leica Store Malaysia. During the session, Leica’s professional photographers will be on site to share the tips and tricks for the ultimate Leica experience. Sessions are available on every Thursdays and Sundays throughout the campaign duration from 12pm to 2.30pm.

Jonny walker black circuit is back again, which I had miss it last year. I was so jealous reading some blog post by my friends that had attended this exclusive event last year. On the  9th of April 2011, Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge 2011 again with only special invites to this exclusive, the Johnny Walker Black Circuit Longue is BACK again will be the official Grand Prix Event will play host to the crème de la crème of Malaysian society and even Lewis Hamilton is inviting all of you to this upcoming event!

A night just like that would certainly be a great night for me .
