Right after the movie, we walk back to Pavilion as my car park there because that I do not want to be jam at Convention Center due to PC Fair on that day.

Felt that its still a bit early and before heading off, got to know that my favorite desert shop now had open at Pavilion and went to try it out.

Located directly infront of Padini, here stood a nice stall which caught by my surprise that they operate it here as I always thought that it would be around Forever 21 area or Food Republic.

A nicely build up desert stall which is very different compare to their branch at SS15.

Menu is not the same as they do not have light snacks here, due to their location at Pavilion that are not allow to cook.

Snowflakes under ‘Grass Jelly Version’ that have pearls, red bean, peanut and I add taro balls.

Then pour upon the given milk base to add in extra flavour. Just love how they did their blended smooth ice that just melt in my tongue.

Then my friend order the ‘Taufufa Series’ with their very own signature Taro Balls and this is serve warm. Love the taste of it which had a clear soup base which is very refreshing as my friend was sick that day which is good. The taro balls never dissapoint us as its still the same as the main branch, chewy like buble gum.
They event have new flavour- coconut base ice series. Taste good on first few mouth, then I start to feel geli after half way. Too much cooconut for me yet my friend just love it.
Never got bored of the desert from this shop and had a brief chat with the friendly owner that they are planing to open more branches soon. So look out~

I used to come to QE2 to hang out with my friends for many occasion and pass by this restaurant many times . .  Never did I know that, my last visit back to Penang, my dad brought me to Hai Nan Town for lunch, that I just got to know is one of his favourite restaurant, partly because they served Hainanese cuisine.

Hai Nan Town Restaurant is situated next to Penang Jetty which can be easily located as it can be consider a building by itself and also a famous spot for alot photographer to do photoshoot here.

If you come at night, you will enjoy a the wonderfull scenery facing the jetty with sea breeze.

Usually I definately prefer my Lohbak to be in Pork Version especially when I am in Penang, then Chicken Lorbak in here is pretty good too, by using strips of chicken that cook along with ‘ngor hiang’ with skin fried till crips.   RM 10.50

Otak – Otak was normal as I have eaten better ones @ RM 3

Kacang Botol fried with samble and pranws is a dish to consider to order, fried evenly and its crips each of it. .  RM 12

Hainanese Lamb is my dad’s favourite, because it was cook quite soupy and the lamb lamb taste is very mild that suits my sister also, lamb was cook till very soft n the soup was aromatic with the lamb taste, to me it would taste a bit more nice if the lamb taste is abit stronger @ RM 22

Yam Duck base is a bit milky which filled with yam taste which is another good dish to consider @ RM 24

Curry Fish , quite sour in the curry n spicy which is just nice, fish was fresh as the meat is soft @ RM 66

My family enjoy the meal here. . . and ambiance is nice especially for family meal  and this restaurant is a Halal Restaurant. . .

In KL, there are a lot of famous pan mee, most of the stalls they do have variety of flavours to choose from and I still like the authentic ones not until recently Ken introduce us a very kick authentic pan mee located at Old Klang Road. Ah Tee Authentic Pan Mee The stall is park under a very small hawker center which has no name but painted green in colour.

The recipe came from his grandfather that had been selling pan mee for the past 30 years and had pass down to the dad, mother in laws and now the son, had taken over to operate it for pass time, and need not to support their kids anymore.

Pan Mee

This is how the stalls looks like by the road side.

Pan Mee (2)

Besides selling Pan Mee, he also sell ‘Home Made Or Kuih’ and ‘Popiah’.

Pan Mee (3)

The ingredient that going to add into pan mee, just so tempting that I just cant wait to have a bowl by myself.

Pan Mee (4)

The owner with the name Ah Tee is preparing our hot bowl of pan mee, I just feel that his hand is made of metal, that such a big flame and his hand is able to just right above it in adding in the ingredient.

Pan Mee (5)

While waiting our pan mee, Ken order ‘Or Kuih’ which is very soft and filled with yam and dip with the chili sauce is yummy~ and the ‘Popiah’ I have tasted better ones before.

Pan Mee (6)

One of the secret of this stall which is homemade ‘Sambal’ as there are 2 types of it; one which is not very spicy to dip along, but what we find it interesting is the one behind is recommended to all of you who loves very spicy which is the ‘flaming hot sambal’. Eat it with care, that might choke you easily because of the spiciness and once you got choke, you will be very high! Tears all over and 3 glass of water would not help you to ease it.

Pan Mee (7)

This is our ‘Pan Mee’ and add extra anchovies for extra  umph! The noodle can be ordered according to the size you one, but the authentic way is to eat by hand peeling from the flour.

Pan Mee (8)

I just love the taste of it, as it is very flavorful and strong anchovies taste as one of the secret that I found out was, he took the fried anchovies to blend it till ashes and while cooking till the end, he added it in and stir to dilute the ash anchovies to blend into the soup, then add in the marinated pork slices.

Next step, you can either eat or dip along with the flaming hot sambal or add the sambal into the soup to make you sweat all over and tears flowing out.

As the stall operates by himself, he sell ‘Tong Sui’ only or you can order some drink by the coffee shop next to it.

Pan Mee (9)

‘Fu Chuk yi Mai’

Pan Mee (10)

‘Lo Han Guo (mata kucing)’

Cannot deny that, this is one of the best Authentic Pan Mee that I have eaten so far, and we have went back a few rounds continuously after that, as it was rainy season and eating a bowl of hot  aromatic pan mee is hard to resist as RM 5 for a big bowl is very cheap.

One of the famous Tim Sum shop for breakfast in Penang. It has also been quite some time I did not visit this shop. Last visited was bout 5 years ago. As I have to bring my friend for breakfast, and decided to come back this shop as always mention by my dad how good it was as this shop is famous to all the nearby neighbourhood for quite long time already.

The shop is as usual packed with people from morning to night. As they have to different sessions. Morning will be the Tim Sum and Night will be the fried dish.

The troly being pulled infront of me, so get to choose what I want.

Ordered the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fan’ whereby a must have dish for Tim Sum, it was so so only as the skin is too thick already. We only finish the prawns.

The ‘Wu Tau’ as one of my favourite. But today I think the yam, do not have the yam taste, feels abit weird but the ‘char siew pork’ in there taste nice. Not too salty yet perfectly juicy. Just the yam. Aiii

‘Fried Fu Chuk is one of the favourite, it is nicely fried as the crust of the skin is very crispy and the filling in it is very soft like home made fish ball. The mayonnaise we believe is home made too, as it taste sweet and goes along very well with the fu chuk.

Loh Mai Kai’ a common food for tim sum. Looks nice and oily, the chicken and the mushroom in it do not have much taste but the taste still lack of one taste, the original loh mai kai taste. Still feel that the 1 that I had in Genting is very nice and highly recommended tim.

This is one of their signature dish. Do not know what it is called but in the whole pau trolly this is the only odd colour looking, the auntie was selling hard on this. Decided to try it since she said its one of the best selling and the last piece.
I must agree with the auntie that this sure taste nice. The top is very soft like eating cake, and the filling inside is just nice, blend well with the top. Highly Recommended.
‘Char Siew Pau my favourite during tim sum. Very nice. The texture of the pau is nice and soft, the char siew inside is nicely fried along with the sauce.
I forgot what is this called already, by having me 1 person finishing the whole thing, taste quite good along with the cilisauce there, i think they have mixed it, chili sauce with the ‘tim cheong‘.
I personally do not like this but my friend she is having great time eating this. This depends on individual taste already.
Pai Kuat. So far still have not manage to find a nice 1 to eat during tim sum. Would not really recommend this as the meat is nicely steam but the sauce do not have a strong black bean sauce, the chili taste lack of it, and lack of salt.
Round up the whole session with a desert. As always my meal will usually end with desert. The ‘Longan Tau Fu Fa’. The pieces is very soft like taufu, the juice in there is not too sweet, and top up with longan. Just nice to complete the whole meal.
When I was paying the bill, I was quite shock again, as we ate so much and the total was only RM25. Aii, cheap loh~ With the food quality and the pricing so have not much comment on it. All the auntie there is very nice and warm.
They can just talk and talk to you and the auntie commented on my friend, ‘Wah, where r u guys from?Japan ah? then I laughed. Korea ah? you guys don look like local lei(in hokkein) you guys so fair. Then told the auntie, no la. We all ‘Pun Teh Lang’ (local ppl in hokkien)
