Well, I was recently invited for a launch of their new basic range of smartphone and I must say we were rather impress with the quality, pricing and platform.

Nokia (1)

On that night, the launch took place at Pressroom at Bangsar Shopping Center.

Nokia (3)

Moments later when the event start, we were introduce to their latest range of entry level of smart phone, Nokia Asha 501 that lead by the Head of Marketing for the brief.

Nokia (4)

The Nokia Asha 501 makes high-end design, elegance and quality accessible to more people that comes in 6 striking colour. This phone was design to cater the needs of people that a touch away to access everything they love with a simple swipe and a back button.

Nokia (5)

those are the colourful 6 colour that they have manufacture out, and guess how much would this pocket smart phone is. RM 299. Yap, for RM299 I would say its quite an impressive phone.

Not only that, the most impressive about this phone is their standby time, which is 48 hours for a smartphone. Full talk time is estimated about 12 hours & dual sim. Great battery life!

Along with another new series Nokia Asha 210 with keypad that is so nice to press on. Price at RM 219 and available end of June too.

Weather in Penang is crazy hot, as over the weekend I was there for a few functions and of course bringing the KL bloggers along following by my favourite shop especially for their Coconut Shake and Jelly. This shop might not well know to many people yet as mostly alot regular that come back for their drinks or through word of mouth. Good news is that I do not have to go all the way to Melacca for that famous Klebang Coconut Shake as now in Penang also offer something similar and I find it better.

joez (1)

One of their signature is their Coconut Jelly is whereby they started and at times I do make a take away in KL Central. Yap, they do have a small kiosk outlet in KL Central depature hall that sell their signature coconut jelly.

joez (2)

Back in Penang of course I often go for their 3 combo, young coconut drink, coconut shake and coconut Jelly which I rarely miss out.

joez (3)

Coconut Shake @ RM 3.80 comes with a scoop of ice cream.

joez (4)

Indeed its very freshing under the crazy hot weather, not too milky nor too sweet that comes to my liking, yet a well balance taste of both coconut flavour and milk that did not over power it.

A Recommended place for drinks or another favourite place of mine is Ice – Tingkap – traditional Indian Drink. Set back of this place is parking is a pain in the ass. If you are stopping by at the main road you are obstructing the whole traffic area. Usually I park opposite next to kaki kaki and walk over.

Sometimes life can be just too stress and need something to chill, drink or hang out with friends to make us think back straight or cool is down.  As I know, friends around me love to drink for pleasure and so do a lot of Malaysians. What I got expose to for a Japanese Beer was Asahi during when I was in Australia, which is one of my favourite beer from Japan. Now, one thing we can be expecting that another premium beer is reaching into Malaysia shores very very soon, with this incredible No.1 premium beer in Japan – Suntory Beer.

Santoro

This new beer is rather alien to me that I have never heard of the name before and also being one of the best beer in Japan that holds awards for Grand Gold Medal at the Monde Selection for three consecutive years.

It is a brand that famous around the world and now going to reach in many places in restarant and bars in Malaysia.
